I stopped by Cinnabon for their $1 cinnamon roll app promo on 10/4/25, which ran from 1-4 PM. I only saw the promotion around 3:40 PM and figured I had missed my chance, but I made it to the mall by 3:50 PM. There were 4-5 groups ahead of me, but service was impressively fast. What really stood out was how well-staffed they were, definitely more than usual. They clearly anticipated the rush, and it showed. The line moved quickly, and everything was smooth and organized. The cinnamon roll tasted like the classic Cinnabon flavor, but it wasn't quite as gooey as I remember. It also seemed smaller, with thinner layers -- maybe scaled down a bit for the promotion. Last time I got a Cinnabon, about 2 weeks ago,it had almost no cinnamon, thought it was a fluke as this isn't usually an issue, at this location anyway. Went tonight and got a bun and it had even less than last time, so dry and lacking in cinnamon you wouldn't have even known it was a cinnamon bun if not for the box. These blasted things aren't cheap, and I want my bi-monthly cheat / treat to be worth the money and the calorie intake, but this thing hit the trash after two bites, it was that bad!!!Maybe the person making them hates cinnamon and butter, or maybe the person thinks they are making bread?? Wow !!!!! I use to love the Cinnabon place. I would goto the mall just to get a Cinnabon and extra icing. The prices are sky high now and the size of the Cinnabon which are a 1/3 smaller but priced higher. Not much icing on the Cinnabon either. For the price you don't get much. Perfectly fine little Cinnabon shop inside the Santa Rosa Plaza mall. I wasn't even hungry but the delicious smells tempted me in and my husband and I shared a mini cinnamon roll. Staff was courteous enough, and the food was as expected - warm and sugar-drenched goodness. The only water they offer is bottled and at the end of my visit, when I went to take a photo of their take-home boxes of rolls, the woman behind the counter told me I wasn't allowed to take photos. That turns me off from a place, especially when I merely want to increase and improve their exposure on social media sites like Yelp!! :( read more

Came in at 6:30pm to buy a box of six Cinnabon's and was told that they didn't have a box of six. They had two trays of six and I asked to have one tray. Was told I couldn't, because they would be sold out and if I wanted a box of six, I would have to wait between 30 to 45 minutes or be charged extra for the already made six Cinnabon's. This baffled me. This story reminded me of the time I was going to buy the last three bags of toasted peanuts from a farmers market stand and was told i couldn't, because then she wouldn't have anything else to sell. Recently went in with a friend after a hellish experience holiday shopping. We are very friendly and easy going, not difficult at all. I walk up, take maybe 30 seconds to look things over and decide how much i want to gorge on. I then ask if they have "the little round ones" (did not know the name) and she doesn't say a word, just walks over grabs a bag and looks at me and points to it. so i smile and say "yeah those are it! i'll take em'" and she just tosses them on the counter and says and "so is that it..." which was just annoying because those are the very first words she said to me. I ask for a roll and she silently grabs it and then stares over at my friend and says "what does she want" my friend is looking over the menu debating trying the Red Velvet Cocoa. I tell my friend i will treat her and she declined and stepped up to order. When my friend was ready she asked very nicely to try the new drink and the girl steps back, points at the machine and says " uhm yeah i'm out of chocolate" no apology or anything. no smile just stares at us. So my friend takes it in stride "oh darn, okay well i'll have a roll" she grabs it and just like with mine, states the total and puts the items in a bag and throws the receipt in very rudely and shoves the bag at us and then steps away. it was just such an unjustified reaction to helping us. it was rushed and it seemed she felt like we were inconveniencing her. it wasn't even close to closing time and there were zero people in line. we were all smiles from our purchases and talking about how we are going to really enjoy these rolls while watching a movie. Love this place! The cinnamon rolls are sweet, fresh, and delicious! I hadnt tried this place until recently when my girlfriend dragged me here. Now I come here every time I'm in the area. I have to say I haven't tried the coffee yet, so I can't give an opinion. Today i tried the new CinnaSweeties, which are cinnamon balls with oreo and a little bit of frosting on top. I was dissapointed. The textured seemed like they were stale, and the oreo on top definitely was. I think they would be a lot better without the topping, and instead filled with or covered in frosting. read more

I swear on everything that is Holy to me... holy shit, holy cow, holy moley, holy crap, holy holy holy that I don't often eat sweets... SWEAR. So when I do eat something sweet you better watch out, don't talk to me, don't touch me and for god sake and your own safety don't even think for a moment that I will share a bite or nibble with you... Cinnabon does this to me... it turns me into a stark raving freak. I have resisted for several years the temptation and when it sounded like a good idea I talked myself out of it... but today after my wonderful pre-Thanksgiving Dinner I needed a fix. My wife and I came get a couple of Cinnabons. We each bought one and they were both doughy in the middle. My wife took hers back and the others were the same. So he offered my wife two mini's which were half the size of the regular. The managers reasoning is that two mini's are the price of one big one but couldn't comprehend that they were half the size . Of course they didn't have all the good gooey stuff on it like the big ones do. They didn't have any half and half for the coffee so I settled for regular milk which isn't the same. If it was my store, I would have taken the doughy ones off the shelf after it was reported and replace them with good ones but the manager didn't seem to care and left the doughy ones for somebody else to buy. We were hoping to sit and eat the Cinnabons there but they took away the seating. So either you have to walk all the way down to the other end of the mall to the food court. You can't use a knife and fork on a Cinnabon standing up. Not a good experience. read more

I normally dont yelp about places but todays experience was awful. I got two cinnamon rolls one for me and mom, and they were raw in the middle. Noticeably raw, and when i brought it to the managers attention he yelled at me saying " i know how to make them ive done it for ten years i know how to cook them". The most delicious Cinnabons and Pecanbons ever! I love mine with a glass of ice cold milk. The cashiers could be a bit nicer though.

Of course the food is amazing and delicious but I have to say that I don't like how there is no longer ANY seating to sit and enjoy your warm cinnamon roll and so you have to trek all the way to the food court at the other end of the mall for seating. Major con of the updated location. read more

The gentleman working in this location is so rude! You have completely lost this customer. He has no problem treating cuatomers horribly and speaking to them rudely. I arrived at 9:40 am and their gate was up so I assumed they were open. He went to the register as though he was going to assist me. However, when I told him what I would like he rudely told me they are not open and will not open until 10. Well nevermind, because I would rather spend more and have great service than to ever return to this place!! Hope management reviews this and fires him.
