Not a real cinnamon roll. Too much sugar, not my cup of tea. Even their coffee is lacking

More importantly, it's totally worth it. We got a box of goodies and they were all fantastic. You can taste the quality of the products they use. You can taste the butter. It's just lovely. My husband also really liked his latte. We sat inside and ate some of our goodies. We took the rest home for my mum for Mother's Day. My family loved them, too. Nice space. We also bought some whole wheat flour as a gift while there. Will absolutely go back when I'm in the area.

If I'd had more time, I would have loved hanging out here for a while. I only managed to get here about 45 minutes to close, so their selection was understandably if somewhat disappointingly quite picked over. I wound up with a cranberry oat scone and a blueberry and raspberry hand tart. The employee was very pleasant and warm. I appreciated her eagerness to help and positive attitude despite my late arrival. The baked goods sadly didn't really live up to my expectations. The cranberry oat scone was the much better of the two; it was pleasantly sweet and had the proper scone texture and only a little dry. Unfortunately, the hand tart had several edges that I discovered later had been burnt. This impacted the flavor of the whole item and sadly diminished it greatly. The fruit filling was tasty at least, though I didn't get much raspberry from it -- mostly blueberry. I'd be down to try again in the future, just would come earlier in the day when the selection is a bit larger and the products available are a bit more "choice," let's say. I appreciated the kind service and lovely vibes!

I explained I only wanted to give them feedback we had received from some of the guests as well as ourselves about the dryness and inconsistency of the cookies. I told the manager I wouldn't post anything about our experience because I am not asking for compensation of any kind only give them some feedback because they are a new business, but after speaking with the manager and feeling completely dismissed I decided to go ahead and post our experience. The bakery itself was really cute. I ordered custom cookies for my nieces wedding shower and the cookies were very inconsistent in texture and thickness. The bride to be said they were pretty but not flavorful and dry. The cookies were supposed to be done on Friday and when I called they said it would be Saturday morning, right before the shower. None of the cookies were in cellophane bags when I got there. I asked for 40 bags so I could place each cookie in the bags. I ended up spending more time putting all the cookies in bags when we got to the venue. Overall the cookies were very expensive, pretty but not tasty. Wish they would have genuinely apologized and maybe we would have tried them again in the future.

Where do you get a king cake in Tennessee? Magpies! I had never tried magpies before, but was…read moredesperate for a good king cake not a dry one from the grocery store. I've had king cake from places like Dong Phuong so my standards for king cake can be pretty high. Ordering online was easy, pickup went smooth (the inside of magpies is cute and everyone working was very nice), and the cake itself was delicious! I got the cream cheese and it wasn't dry at all and tasted just like a piece of Louisiana. My biggest complaint is that I have to wait another year to get it again! But that's okay just means I'll have to try some of the other treats that magpie offers now that I know how good they are at what they do.

The chocolate cherry wheat-free cookies are divine, and the pecan pie might be one of the best I've ever tasted. The bakery itself is not a sit-down place--you pick up your treats, which is fantastic--and there's ample parking, making it very convenient. The only disappointment was the service. I asked a young salesperson about the cookie ingredients, and she simply shrugged and said she didn't know. While I appreciate honesty, it was surprising--and a little embarrassing--that she didn't make any effort to find out. That's not the kind of customer service expected at a bakery of this caliber. Yes, I am throwing her under the bus, because I'm pretty certain the owner would be displeased with that kind of representation. I'm still giving you a 5 because your products are so good but considering that your big shot was completely empty and nobody was rushed you'd think that there would be an interest to talk more about your products from your sales person. In any case thank you

Haven't had pastrami in a while so I had to order the Pastrami Reuben and the presentation was great with how it was stacked! Between the sauce and the sauerkraut the flavors were all good and I enjoyed the taste of the pastrami when I found it, but the bread to meat ratio was so high I mostly tasted the burned crust of the bread and very few bites of pastrami. It was one slice of pastrami, not a thin slice but not what you hope for when you bite into true Jewish deli pastrami, which are normally bursting at the seems with meat. Marble rye is hard not to burn and they did a good job for the most part, but I tasted more crust than I did pastrami, and for $18 I wonder if this sandwich was more a charge for the hype. The blintzes were also smaller than one would expect of a blintz but I absolutely loved the compote on top.
