Visited Cinnabon at North County Mall in Escondido and had a good experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful, even though there was a long line and they were extremely busy. Seating is a bit limited, and the trash cans were full when we arrived, but the team emptied them quickly. It was nice to see such good teamwork and attention to customers. Busy lineup getting your OG cinnamon rolls during the holidays. Been a fan for a while and haven't ate one for a while so came to this location as it's the closest one to my home. It's $5.50 a pop now! I remember when it was cheaper so I now force myself to get 4 pack to bring the cost slightly down! I went here yesterday and bought a box of Cinnabon. I went home ate dinner relax a bit and when it was time to eat the Cinnabon. It was so doughy that Me and my wife weren't able to eat it.wife called the next day . Talked to Diana ( The Manager) She was pleasant and was able to replaced it without hesitation. I love Cinnabon! When you walk in the mall and you smell that cinnamon the air, you just can't resist! I always get a single Cinnabon roll with frosting. We got lucky cause they just put out a fresh batch. The cinnamon roll was nice and warm, with newly added white frosting slowly melting on top. The service is always just ok. What horrible customer service! Almost gave a 2 star since the food is good, but I really need to give them a lower rating since they practically begged me for it. It wasn't always like this. I've been going there for about 15 years. The last 2 have always had bad service, today being the worst. I wanted to buy a 6 pack of cinnabons. There were 6 in the case and several racks in the oven. The woman at the counter said I would have to wait at least 35 minutes if I wanted to buy 6 pack. I told her that I'll just take a 4 pack out of what was in the case. She said, "I can only sell you one because if I sold you 4, I would only have 2 left to sell." Math genius, I saw. I told her that made no sense. If I buy one, walk away and come back and buy one and I kept doing that, I'd get all the cinnbons the same if I just bought them right then. She said that she worked there for a year and a half and that they always do it this way. WHAT?!?!?!? For a year and half they've been refusing to sell their merchandise?!?!?!? I told her I would talk to the manager if I needed to because you can't run a business if you refuse to sell your merchandise. I explained how the lack of money coming in would prevent her from being paid and that if the manager is running the business like that, I'd be happy to explain it to them. She then starting shooting her mouth off about how there are only 2 people working there and they don't have enough cinnabons to sell. The man working with her was standing in the background not doing anything the whole time I was there. So, then I explained that if the manager was running the employees into the ground and expecting them to sell stuff that they don't have, I'd complain to the manager and whoever is on top of them and that I can't stand the stuff retail managers do. Then, she said she would just sell me the 4 pack, and she kept running her mouth the whole time. I paid cash and she took my receipt, looked at it and crumbled it up and threw it away. I think she was showing her genius again by not letting me know what her name is. It was November 27, 2013 at 1:30pm/ 2 people were working.
