Having never screened Lost on a big screen, I jumped at the chance to finally check out Suffolk's Regal while seeing one of (imo) cinema's great films about love, loneliness, and longing. I grabbed a ticket via the Regal app - a simple process that takes little time to complete. For me, the toughest part about driving out to Regal Harbour View is it's far... real far... with tolls (I'm coming from Norfolk). At the same time, I got stuck at the Downtown Tunnel (bridge lift), which almost kept me from arriving on time. Harbour View may be the nicest Regal in the area. It originally opened in November 2000 as a part of the Consolidated Theaters company and didn't officially become a Regal until 2008 (Regal acquired Consolidated Theaters). Based on that timeline, you can tell by glancing at the lobby that its design and architecture is not a Regal concept. That's actually a good thing because the lobby, despite being a little cramped, looks cozy and welcoming. I was greeted quickly upon entering - the ticket taker scanned my ticket on my phone and informed me which theater to go and where it was located. I decided to pick up some snacks and the employee there was just as pleasant and friendly. The theater where I saw Lost looked exactly like a theater at the Regal Strawbridge. I'm assuming there were some renovations made to the theaters themselves, because this specific theater looked brand new. There were 3 other moviegoers in the theater with me. I absolutely loved seeing Lost in Translation on a big screen and enjoyed this experience at this Regal. I hope to visit again soon, despite this location being quite the trip. Thank you, Regal Harbour View! JV

I couldn't believe i had to hand over two $20 bills. Just WOW!! I also do not like having to reserve my seat.

This is by far the best Cinema Cafe location I've been to in Hampton Roads…read more The theaters are clean, the service is quick, and they consistently have a great selection of new movies playing. My husband and I love a dinner-and-a-movie date night, so having everything in one place is perfect for us. The reclining chairs are super comfortable, especially once you've eaten and can just settle back and relax during the movie. The menu is pretty basic, but that's expected for a movie theater, and it still has some solid options. Some of my favorites are the coconut shrimp and the hot honey pizza. Overall, this is my go-to spot for seeing a movie. Always an easy, enjoyable experience, and I'll definitely be back again soon.

The seats and theaters are clean, everything felt very new. Our waiter (I believe his name is Evan) was so nice, quick, and helpful! We were in row 3, which was a little bit too close to the screen for our taste, however the seats recline so your view is not obstructed. We didn't mind row 3, but next time we will go further back. The food and tickets were decently priced, we were very happy with that. The food quality was a little bit better than regular concession food. Our food was lukewarm, but very large portions. They have all the condiments and utensils right there for you! Very nice place, we will be back!

The theater is always neat and clean, with a bright entrance and interesting movie posters. The café is welcoming, and the staff is a true highlight of the experience. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a genuine smile and a welcoming attitude. The staff is incredibly friendly, polite, and patient, ensuring every step of your visit, from ordering at the café to having your food delivered to your seat, is seamless and pleasant. Their dedication to great service truly sets this theater apart. The food and drinks are a major highlight. There are many delicious choices, and everything is consistently tasty and served hot. The popcorn, in particular, is far superior and fresher than what you get at other theaters. I love the convenience of ordering food and an adult beverage right from my seat and having it delivered hot and quickly. The selection of on-tap beers is also a nice touch. The reclining seats with leg supports are super comfortable, making for a truly relaxing movie-watching experience. Best part is free refills on your popcorn, which is great since I like to take a bucket home with me :) Whether I'm catching a $6 movie on a Tuesday in one of the smaller theaters or a full-price movie in the main auditorium, it's always a great time. If you're looking for a theater with excellent food, comfortable seating, and friendly service, this is the place to go.

If I could've waited, I would've. 3. It was raining so the lobby floor was wet. Not a wet floor sign in sight. 4. The back row in Theater 8 is literally the same height as the row in front of it.. it's like the row was added on at some point. If you're too short, you can't see past the chair to see the whole screen. 5. The screen was small. 6. In the back row, we had to put the recliner down for food runners to get past. And that was several times throughout the movie. One food runner actually walked over my reclined legs as i was struggled to push the right button to put it down. Then they hit the tray table next to me and popcorn went flying. They definitely hurt themselves and i felt bad. But this is also probably a longstanding issue. 7. In one of the back row seats we paid for, you had to turn your head to even see the screen. Otherwise, you'd be looking at the emergency door because the screen doesn't extend into the POV of the chair correctly. The only good things from my experience were comfortable chairs, central location and great ticket prices (paid $26 for 4 tickets).

WHAT! I've been living here over 3 years and haven't reviewed this place yet?…read more To me, Naro Cinema is a little piece of home. I'm from Los Angeles where art house films can be seen at art house theaters or established theaters like AMC or Regal. Naro is THE place I can count on to play awards campaign films, but they'll also have an incredible showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show :) The staff is super friendly and you can tell they love to be there - they're my kind of people who love film. Ticket prices are cheap (I usually buy them online) and food prices are reasonable. I love coming here because theaters are dying and places like this need to continue living! So please, support cinema art and watch movies at the Naro.

You're asked for your ticket and even when mine was bought online (digital), they could look up the transaction that I bought online by just giving my name! The popcorn was not warm and can't taste the butter they asked if I wanted some. They have home baked goods like brownies and baklava, wonder whose home they came from, no labels of ingredients or when they're good until! Neat part is that there is a balcony section. My first time here, had always wanted to go in the almost 7 years that I relocated to VA Beach from NoVA/DC area. Speaking of which the draw of this theatre is that they show independent films, love it! Wish they have more choices though, only two film showings per day. Am watching Black Bag today, should be a good spy thriller movie starring Cate Blanchett and Michael Fassbender.

It is a huge venue, ample snacks area, kiosk ticket purchasing and roomy restrooms. There is online ticket purchasing and seat selection. One time though I misunderstood the seats I chose and embarrassingly thought someone was in my seats. Anyway, is the actual theatres that are epic. The seats almost fully recline, with an attached swivel table and cup holders. There is no one's head blocking the view in front of you. The screen is a good size to enjoy the film. I guess they have HD screenings I haven't checked out. If you are on a date you can move the arm rest to get cozy, or if the film is a giant yawn you can fall asleep and not bother anyone! One time I had to sit closer to the screen than I prefer, but even that seat was fine for enjoying the flick. If you still like going out to movies, taking a stroll after around the fountain or hitting up one of quite a few nearby eateries, you can make quite an event of it! Or you can just pig out on a large popcorn and enjoy the film before heading home. Some theatres can't complete with home viewing these days, so if you do venture out to the movies, make it worthwhile with this movie watching experience.

As always, I would purchase tickets via Cinemark's website which is quick and easy. With each check-in, you can use the QR code from email or via Cinemark's website. For some showings, they have point offers based on showtime dates, mostly during opening weekends. And for quite a few, they only allow 24 hours until the point deadline was over. Thanks to such, I was able to save enough points to get 6 months of Cinemark Movie Club membership for free. Definitely looking forward to more discounts for the new year. Again, 2025 in the books. From Nosferatu to Zootopia 2, I can say we enjoyed ourselves here. 2026 here we come :)
