It looks the same other than being rebranded. -They have a movie rewards program and I like that they have discount Tuesdays like Regal. -They have reclining seats, which make them better than AMC at the Mall in Columbia. -Seats can be reserved online. -Acoustics in theater for Taylor Swift movie was great. -Parking is abundant since it's a standalone. -Gift cards are available. -Restrooms are a bit dated. -Unlike other theaters, this theater doesn't have billboards or posters for box office hit movies. That would make for fun photo opps. -Concession stands offer a variety of refreshments and beverages. Some of my popcorn was a bit burnt and stale. -Staff is friendly. Overall, this theater is nice. Chill low key theatre. Plenty of parking and l easy access. Really no frills but for the prices it's solid. Nice quiet theater where you won't have crowds. So as a person who likes not being with a ton of people this place is great. The seats are the recliner style so comfy. read more

This movie theater used to be Regal but changed to Cinemark and is located behind shopping center with BJ's, Marshall's and Home Depot. It's usually not too busy and has plenty of parking. Inside the theater has typical theater concession foods like popcorn, nachos, pretzels, candies, etc. It also has couple arcade games in the corner. The seats in the theater are assigned and are reclining chairs. Some of the good middle seats show some wear and tear but not uncomfortable. I love going to this one compared to the one at Columbia mall. The one at the mall is too much of a hassle with parking and rowdy kids/teens. read more

One of the cleanest theaters I've been in, in such a long time! Lacking some stars due to customer service though sadly. No one is there to greet you, scan your ticket, or tell you which theater auditorium to go in for your movie. I had one employee finally point me in the direction of the ticket scanner which is not in an obvious place, and another walk right by me as I asked out loud "which auditorium do you we go to for our movie." I went to see Godzilla Minus One at 1130 on a Friday. The movie never played. They said a few minutes and then a few more but we waited 30 minutes and we couldn't wait anymore. Everyone had to get a refund. The reason being...they had 2 employees working and there was a business event. Yikes. This theater desperately needs a new idea. Perhaps a theater with alcohol and a few select food options. Warehouse cinema is nailing this easy concept. They even have two separate concession stands already in place. We went to see Wicked and the experience was only "ok" because the sound system in the theater was poor, the music sounded dampened and it wasn't coming from the side speakers. I talked to the manager afterwards and he claimed it's the way it was filmed to mimic a Broadway experience. Uh, no, absolutely not, I've seen Wicked on Broadway and the whole point is to hear and feel the music! It was poor quality sound system or the volume wasn't high enough. Upside: The movie I saw (American Fiction) was amazing. Downside: I saw two mice (searching for dropped food on the floor I presume) during the course of the movie. And the rather bold way that they moved through the crowd (sparse as it was) seemed to be a testament to how comfortable they have become in this theater. I was looking for a possible alternative to AMC Columbia 14. Guess I'll continue to look. read more

The make shift sign says it all... Spend your money elsewhere! As an avid money goer it pains me to say... this theater should be closed. It is the old UA theater and everything looks identical but it's not up to Cinemark standards. The customer service, food and overall experience is sub par at best. The ticket prices are higher than other locations but you get less for the money? The worst part of all... THEY HAVE RATS. Yup, one crawled right by me as I sat in my seat After running out the theater I sat down to write this review. Please understand Cinemark is an amazing company, just visit another location (the one in Fairfax VA is stellar!) unfortunately Columbia just doesn't have great movie theaters. Bad popcorn. We are all sitting here and the screen is off ..., can't see previews. Movie hasn't started yet... 7 minutes late... still dark screen. They definitely need to step it up. They need a new manager bad! No one is checking to make sure stuff is working. Depressing and dark location for the theater too....,worst Cinemark I have been to. read more

I miss the old Regal Snowden movie theater; it was so cool and fun and a great spot to see a movie without all of the hassle of running into too many people, facing insane prices, etc. Now this place is absolutely awful. These two young guys at the counter were gawking at me and competing with each other to talk to me (you know what i mean) in a really rude way, to the point where I only got a soda instead of my full order of food for me and my friends. I didn't want to endure any more time at the snack stand. I was embarrassed and it made me self conscious about my outfit, so I just got myself a drink and went back to my theater. The interior feels plain, boring, and subliminal. The restrooms were nasty and sticky. The staff totally out of line. Ordering tix for here is a hassle. Absolutely not worth it whatsoever. Cinemark in Ann Aruundel Mall is much better. And any Regal or private theater in the area will treat you with much more respect. z read more
