I started a review for this theater before but didn't finish it so I'll just give an overall take…read more I came here the other day for an advanced screening of the movie Housemaid. It was actually really good, more interesting than I thought it would be when I first saw the trailer the week prior and that was great. What was not good, was the theater that we were seated in. I'm going to say the theater because I don't remember seeing dirty disgusting seats at my prior visits here. Look at the pictures and you'll see what I'm referring to. I then also went to the bathroom in the bathroom was nasty as well. I really don't know what is going on with this theater and why AMC has not corrected this issue. Is this what people are accepting from this Columbia theater? Maybe I never noticed because it was my friend who pointed out the dirty seat as I was trying to sit down. It could have been my haste to grab a seat before someone else since it was an advance screening and genpop seating but when she said something I quickly gasped and grabbed my bag. I also noticed that the floors were dirty as well as I walked back from the bathroom to my seat. There was food stuck to it and it just looked like they didn't really upkeep this particular Auditorium. And that is my hope that it is just specific to this Auditorium we were having the free advanced screening in. However if you have people coming to your movie theater for free screening, when you want them to have the best experience? So that confuses me as well. But also once you notice one thing that freaks you out , it heightens your senses and you're open to something else being wrong as well.

The seats in the theaters we saw movies in were new but not recliners, and you reserve a particular seat when you buy your ticket. The customer service at the ticket counter was friendly. Overall, not a bad place to see a movie.

Y'all, I was a little dishearted this visit. I purchased my ticket online, like I normally do and…read morewent into the theater with my blanket and ID ready. I received a free gourmet popcorn and my AMC rewards account for being a stubs member so I decided to take advantage of that especially since I have never tried their gourmet popcorn before. I asked questions about the gourmet popcorn since I typically order a large unsalted popcorn and was curious how I could determine how salty this would be. I was informed that it already comes seasoned and they just warm it up so there wasn't a way for me to request it unsalted. Oh well. It's about a size of a small popcorn but it was tasty. Definitely something you need to wipe your hands off after eating, or lick your fingers lol There are quite a few people there when I arrived and I was highly surprised because normally it's completely dead. Maybe because I also got there a little bit later than I typically do for my movies; arriving about 20 minutes prior to start time when I typically am there an hour prior. I glanced over at the bar and asked the cashier if someone was at the bar so I can order a drink. Can you believe I was informed the manager was not there!? I couldn't believe my ears! That's the only reason why I chose this theater. How am I not going to have my nice little cocktail as I'm eating my popcorn and enjoying my movie? What are this appointment. So I did question what time the manager would be in and was informed 5:00. Really? Right in the middle of my movie? That sucks. I went ahead and looked at the bar as I walk to the theater sadly with popcorn in hand. My other hand was reaching . . . . for . . . . . something and felt so lonely. Oh well, I found my seat put my feet up and sat back and nibbled all my popcorn as I waited for the movie to start. I love the early movies because they're hardly crowded and I can get out of there before all the craziness starts to happen on a Friday. Just wanted to update my review. Next time, I hope that they have someone there to take all of my orders.

The concession wasn't to busy. The theater seats were comfortable. The only problem I had was the temperature of the theater. While watching the movie is was cold and then it got colder when the air came on.
