Yes This has been my favorite theatre in east Texas . I come here when I'm out at the lake house for weekend.

Small town movie theater. No stadium seating etc but priced accordingly.

Great little movie theater. Not fancy, but you cannot beat their prices. I highly recommend for an inexpensive family movie night.

LMAO!!!! Just moved to Tyler and went to the Apache Drive-In Theater with the wife.... Holy shit…read more Did not expect porn on the screen!! My wife and I busted out laughing!! Went in to the "Snack shop" to ask where the hell I was ( apparently I missed the sign that said adult movie theater and store when I drove in) and the guy behind the counter of butt plugs, nipple clamps and dildos told us that for $13 bucks a person or $20 a couple we could enjoy the drive-in and the multiple "viewing rooms" inside. We thanked him and laughed our way to the car. I think we have found the ONLY drive-In porn theater in America in Small Town USA. If you are into that, get'er done! If you have kids and are looking for a drive-in, I would highly suggest you skip it, as I do not think that they will playing an appropriate version of Disney's Pocahontas any time soon ;)

We didn't feel safe as two trucks pulled beside us as exactly when we pulled in. We decided to move forward 50 ft and within 10 min two different trucks pulled beside us yet again. Seemed very awkward as there were not very many trucks or cars in the lot for when we were previewing shows. We are definitely not into lewd acts in public yet it doesn't feel right when complete "strangers" are pulling up beside you. Oh by the way, when we pulled up the first time to ask when the outside movie started the same trucks were seen parking beside us throughout the movie. I wish we would have spent more time watching the movie instead of talking about the people pulling up next to us. They are not even cops so why are they so intrusive? Seems like they are pervs to me.

This specific time was so great! We decided to watch the new Jurassic World and the screen we were assigned to was a bit hidden which mad the movie that much more intimate! The snack bar is always a staple too! I could have sworn that they used to offer more variety, but overall I always get a large popcorn! Movie popcorn is just top tier! Overall, I know we will be back! coming here is just a piece of my childhood and I am so happy to see it still up and running! Definitely recommend for your next movie night with the fam, friends, or that perfect someone!

This is total waste of money and time. They need to revamp the drive in and organize screens showings and remove those cheap little screens!! For the size of those little screens you could watch tv at home or use your own projector. Do not recommend!!!

Overall, I would recommend this theater but there are some important considerations…read more This theater offers a full service bar and kitchen. There is a small dining area directly inside of the business, if you'd like to eat before or after your movie. Food and drinks can also be ordered from a push button at your seat, inside of the movie theater, to eat during the movie. Food and drinks can be brought to your seat throughout the movie as much as you like. However, most of the kitchen options were unavailable tonight. I overheard some guests were upset about this. The seats are pretty nice, comfortable leather seats that lean back slightly. The seats are close to the ground though. The leather seats could have been alittle cleaner but I didn't feel that the theater was unclean altogether. There is a small table on a swivel at your seat. We saw Avatar: Fire and Ash. Picture quality and sound was on par with other major movie theaters, but the actual theater was fairly small, about 80 chairs total. The waiters do a good job of being unobtrusive, but you can see them walking around from time to time taking orders and bringing food while the movie is playing. Not a huge deal, but it does take away from the immersive experience slightly. When we received our bill at the end of the movie, I was surprised to see an "18% Service Charge" already applied as a tip for the waiter. There was also a spot for "additional tip", if you'd like to leave one. In our case, we ordered two drinks and a small popcorn, so it felt alittle absurd for gratuity to be automatically applied. I would return to this theater again to see another movie but AMC is still my #1 choice.

Cleanliness was a concern. My friends brought disinfectant wipes so we wiped all down we could. Leather armrests were very ragged and worn. Most disgusting part was cup holders in the arm rests. Need a definite deep cleaning. We tried to wipe them out but they were way too grimy to help any. Just opted to put our drink on the tray we'd already cleaned. Movie quality was good. Sound was good.

The night was enjoyable with the exception of the obnoxious family next to us constantly getting in our ways and the parents not tending to their kids. Tried to ignore that and focus on the time spent with the family. I do wish the lanes had a little more room and also the staff paid a little more attention to the guests and ensure they are following rules and proper etiquette. But let's be honest, these are usually younger kids and confrontation can be intimidating so I do not fault them. Lanes were clean, never had trouble with the pins, no technical issues, and the server kept our drinks filled and the food was more than decent. Will be back!

My husband and I were extremely impressed when we walked inside. It's buzzing with business as there's so much to enjoy in one place. You can bowl, play at the arcade, dine in at their bar or catch a film. Do note that if you're there to watch a movie they have an automated kiosk before you walk to the attendant where you can purchase & print your tickets. If you purchase your tickets online then you can scan your QR code or manually enter the confirmation code & it will print your tickets out for you. How cool is that? AMC Theatres could never ! We came to watch Tron: Ares which had our attention from the moment it started. Definitively one of the best films we've seen this year...might even be number 2 in our top five lineup (after Sinners of course). Film Alley also happens to be a dine in theatre, so we took advantage. Our server Macela M was sweet and efficient. I ordered their $11 Mexican Street Dawg meal that came w/fries & then got a root beer to drink and a kids popcorn as it's not a movie night without it. Everything was delicious. My only critique is the bun to meat ratio was way off. I understand wanting to elevate the dish and make it more filling, but I wound up having to discard half the bun as it was too much bread. My husband had a Cheeseburger meal with fries and an Icee to drink. No complaints from his end. Overall this was a great experience for us. The theatre was clean, recliners were new and very comfortable & the bathrooms were also well maintained. My husband and I can't wait to come back.

But I was thrilled to know that they reopened it for multi-purpose events. I first came during the soft opening during the Fiddlers' Reunion weekend & saw a live concert happening. I also came for the "Art On The Bricks" event. It's neat that they can move the stage, since for the soft opening the stage was on the right brick wall (with the audience portable fold-out chairs situated so that the left & right were further apart than the front & back), & for "Art On The Bricks" the stage was on the back wall (with the windows & view of the town square parking lot behind it). For the art show, there was more space to look at tables of displayed artwork, munch on finger foods (catered by Railway Cafe, next door), sip on drinks (wine, water, or tea), & you could mingle around or sit down (upstairs in the balcony or at some standing-friendly downstairs tables). The restrooms are also nice, & very well-maintained, with plenty of multiple stalls. The upstairs balcony is really neat. It's a great place to sit & eat at small tables (or move them together for bigger groups), or you can sit at a bar-like table overlooking the balcony if you have a smaller group. Overlooking the balcony was an incredible view! I'm staying posted on future events held here, because I definitely want to keep coming back!
