The theater is a decent size especially considering it's in the Chicago Ridge Mall, they even had a bar in the theater which is a nice touch, concessions, and even had a lot of mini claw machines. It was really cool that AMC even had merch of their own and even from various movies as well. Movie Experience: The movie was showing in screen/theater 2 and the layout of the theater was nice. The movie in my opinion was really good and they even had a post-credit scene with both Daniel LaRusso & Johnny Lawrence. I do agree with some of the other reviews that the theater walls at least in screen/theater 2 are thin as I was hearing muffled audio from the theater next door. I'm wondering how this can be resolved. Maybe sound proofing each theater to truly get the full movie theater experience? Just my thoughts on this. Claw Machines: The claw machines are $1 per play. The claw machines don't accept bills or card, so you have to go to this machine that gives you tokens. My boyfriend spent $5 in tokens and unfortunately I didn't win anything even though some of the prizes looked gettable. Overall Experience: Overall, I had great experiences at the AMC theater in the Chicago Ridge mall. The theater was clean, easy to navigate, & the bathrooms were clean. Definitely need to go back soon and hopefully I can win me some cute plushies from their mini claw machines. The bathroom was dirty on my visit. They put carpet in now and this location has a bar. The bar area is separate from the general concession area. They have coke freestyle machines. My movie was in one of the smaller theaters. It said on door, that max seating for that theater was 54. A surprise for me on recent visit is director came out after screening for a q and a. Theaters have reclining seats. Some annoying patrons. Couple next to me would not stop talking entire movie. Another lady complained to staff that someone was in her seat. The theater is a decent size, had lots of movie props to take photos with, had a bar, concessions, and even had a lot of mini claw machines. Movie Experience: The movie was showing in screen/theater 1 and it had a decent layout. The row I was in had an empty area in the middle and I wonder why it was structured that way. Definitely could've filled the middle area with more seats, but no one was next to me on the right which was great. Movies with Tom Cruise never disappoint and totally recommend watching the movie. I went to AMC in block 37 to see the Michael movie. The location is very convenient right in the…read moreloop so it was easy to walk there from my place. It is on the 4th floor and there are lots of signs to guide you to the correct location. When I went over the weekend the elevators weren't working so I had to take the escalators. I was able to buy my movie ticket on the AMC website and there was no line to have the staff scan my ticket to get in. There are kiosks that make it super easy to order your popcorn and they even have a bar in there. The bartender told us each drink comes with 3 shots so my friend got a margarita and she said it was really good! The large popcorn was tasty. I was able to add extra butter to it and get a free refill so I could share with my friend. Next time I go I will just order the regular popcorn as I had a lot left over. The seats in the AMC theater are recliners which were really comfortable. I will come back to this theater next time I want to see a movie!

Emagine Frankfort is a great theatre option in the Frankfort/Tinley area! It's one of the newer…read moretheatres to open and still holds a nice aesthetic. They have about 16 screens and host 3D and standard format options. All chairs have a recliner capabilities and are leather. They have a bar in the main lobby to order drinks from as well as a large concessions area. The soda machines are the custom machines to let you mix and match flavors. The concessions area also allows you to order food to deliver to your theatre/seat while watching the movie. This is always a go to theatre for me when seeing a show with family in the southwest burbs! Tip: Go to the theatre to order tickets ahead of the showing to avoid convenience fees. This theatre is affiliated with Fandango to order tickets ahead as well.

The food was even more crazy expensive than expected Because it would have been like $50 for us each to get something, we split the ridiculously expensive apps platter. I will say it was quite a generous serving size, enough for 2, but it wasn't piping hot by the time we got it & had to run out for missing sauces. Of course beverages were Alsó prohibitively expensive. Would rather have had the food quickly, hot, and before the movie was really underway so we could concentrate on the film. Better yet, we would have liked fi order & eat outside the auditorium but that isn't an option there like at other food-focused theaters. Besides all that, I guess it was okay. Was clean. My boyfriend gets the popcorn which is vegan friendly I thought it was also pretty cool that they have a bit of a merch stand. Right now, it was decked out for Beetlejuice. The theaters themselves are pretty large and they do have the fancy recliner seats! Sound and picture is always on point. The staff is always super nice and professional. Making the drive here is always worth it.
