At some point another fed up patron took things into their own hands and shouted expletives at them... When the show was over we were quick to leave and spoke to the manager about the issue again. We let him know we wouldn't return anytime time soon. Basically lost a couple of hours for a miserable time, $28 for tickets and $17.78 on concessions. No refund was offered... To me, this is not a problem. What *IS* a problem is the quality of the picture being presented last night in Theater 1. The projector's bulb is obviously going, or the projector is very poorly maintained in other aspects. The result was a screen image that was dim, vignetted, and out of focus. I informed the people at the concessions counter, and their response was, "Yeah, it is." I didn't ask for a refund, but I feel that I should have. Look, I willingly pay for the over-priced popcorn and concessions so that I can help keep this local gem alive...but if I can't SEE the movie, what's the point?

Tuesdays and Wednesdays here are discount days, at least for AMC stubs members. So the movie tix were priced right as well. There are 18 theaters here, one is an IMAX and another Dolby. They also have a party room and a MacGuffins Bar. Of course snacks and drinks as well. Popcorn smell fills the air as you welcome, love the smell! They have the Coca-Cola freestyle machines here like all AMC's. Going to the movies in a big format is still one of the best ways to experience a movie and I recommend everyone to leave your house and enjoy the movies how they were made to be scene on the big screen. The first movie started around 9, as the sun went down. By the time for the second movie it was almost midnight so we left, but if you can stay up late it's a great deal to stay and watch two! If you choose to turn your car off, make sure to bring an actual radio to tune in with. None of the apps have the specific station and you won't be able to hear much from your neighbor's car. It was a beautiful place to watch the sunset and once it's dark you can see lots of stars. I would recommend sitting in a car or on chairs because it is all gravel and it's harder to find a window to watch if you're on the ground. There are concessions and restrooms in the middle. You pay per person in the car for entry and if you bring your own snacks you're supposed to pay.

I do suggest bringing a radio to listen to the movie but listening from the car wasn't bad. There is a fee of $5 to bring in outside food but no one ever checked if we paid for it so I'm not sure why they have that fee? We liked the Kona truck to get shaved ice and thought it was a nice little treat! Get there at least an hour and a half early to get a good spot. We saw a lot of people driving around 30/40 mins before having a hard time parking. We will definitely be back again!

Movie theater and bathrooms were clean, except one of the arms of our recliner had melted butter all over it from the previous movie goer.
