I've been wanting to try Cincy Cafe for a while now and so I was on my way to the airport late night and decided to stop by. They were open til 12am on the weekdays and I think that was for their Ramadan hours which was really nice. The service was great and the guy helping us was super sweet and patient while we were deciding on what to order. I ordered the iced Pistachio Latte which is a favorite of mine from Yemeni Coffee shops and this did not disappoint! I asked for extra pistachio bc I like mine on the sweeter side and it was just right. We also ordered the Adeni Chai hot and that was a bit on the stronger side but still very flavorful. I would definitely recommend trying this out and it's so nice that it is a walk away from campus because I will definitely be back!

Loved this place! The building/area was cute, cafe had nice ambiance, and staff were very friendly. I loved my chai and honeybee bread. Would definitely come back!

I visited Cincy Cafe every day during my short trip to Cincinnati. I loved the adeni chai and yemeni style coffee. Island breeze smoothie was refreshing. They also sell pastries and dubai chocolate. I didn't get to try the pastries but they looked sooo good. I tried the dubai chocolate and it was pricey... but delish! This is also a great place to do work. Well-lit, clean seating area. Good wifi connection, lots of tables, outlets accessible from most (if not all) tables. And the staff is very nice. There is one bathroom available. Clean and well maintained.

I'm so glad to find a new Yemeni coffee place in Cincinnati. This place is great. They have wonderful desserts too. If you haven't tried Yemeni coffee, you need to check this place out. I will definitely be back every time I am in this area.

Found this delight after not finding parking at 86... so glad I did! I didn't know features Turkish flavors so that was an added bonus! Cincy Latte was great (got mine without sweetener) and I had a tough time picking a treat. I went with the blueberry croissant- which they heated and it was good. BUT disclaimer- the pastries to the left of the register are from Costco (no shade, they're delicious). Next time I will be sure to pick something else - but not everything has labels so be prepared to point :) can't wait to go back and try the Yemeni Mofawer!

I went there this morning for study for about an hour and a half. Ordered a Cincy Latte w/ oat milk. The Latte tasted great! There was special spice in it (ginger etc.), which was just suitable for such a rainy morning, making it even more impressive. The barista was very welcoming and friendly. He was always patient for every customer's questions. The wifi was fast and stable. Beautiful and aesthetic decorations. A nice spot for working and studying! In the morning there were fewer people, while there might be more in the afternoon.

This place is amazing!! I'd never had Yemeni style coffee before, but it is fantastic. The atmosphere is lovely and the people working are beyond friendly. Highly recommend.

Amazing Yemeni cafe with great food and ambiance! I adore their Arabic baked goods and they have Turkish and Yemeni coffee as well as the familiar Western cafe staples. A great study location or lunch spot by UC!

I loved this coffee, even though I'm not sure which one I had. The young lady and gentleman were extremely helpful and set me up with a tasty brew. Definitley recommend! Added to the wall of coffee in our work truck!

I came in here for the first time recently, and it was great. The island breeze smoothie was lush, with a yogurt base they used with the fruit that was really good. The pistachio milk cake was fire, almost like a tres leches. I love tres leches. The guy behind the counter was really nice too! I want to try their savory pastries next, they looked good. I will definitely be coming back here, sincerely a nice place.

Fantastic coffee, a hidden gem if you're looking for a break from the same coffee in Cincinnati. Great flavor, nice pastries as well.

Hidden Gem!!! Literally…read more So, your GPS/Waze will get you there but your eyes and brain will be lost. This is because it is literally inside the HighGrain Brentwood BrewPub. Once you've found HighGrain, park in the parking lot and go inside. You walk in and La Terza is immediately on your left. When you walk in, you can go up to the counter and check out the menu. Just hit the little doorbell on the counter if nobody is there when you arrive. They'll show up quickly. You'll also likely notice the coffee's that they currently have "on tap", if you will. They put the bags out front so you know what you're ordering. You can choose from one of their straight up cups of coffee to espresso or latte's, iced or hot. During this visit I selected a small black coffee and an iced vanilla latte. The black coffee was a Costa Rica bean that was bold and robust with flavor. I really enjoyed this. The vanilla latte was not sweet at all. So, if you're looking for something a little sweeter, I'd ask for it to be sweetened or possibly go with the caramel latte, as that was a little sweeter. They do roast their beans on-site. I was going to take a walk over there but the door was closed once I got my coffee order. I did buy a bag of their whole Peru sourced beans that I'm very much looking forward to grinding up and French pressing to perfection. Combined with HighGrain, there is a lot of space to sit and enjoy your coffee. They have a small bakery cabinet to check out and order from as well. I can only assume that the coffee shop and brewery work together, so you may be able to order food from HighGrain and have your coffee too. Would I go back? 100%. I'm looking forward to trying the beans that I purchased. If they're as good as the coffee that I had in-store, La Terza will be on my list of local places to get my beans from.

This festival in it's first year went very well and I cannot wait to see how it grows and develops…read more We knew this would be popular so we arrived early (parked across the street at the Washington Park garage). Since we were one of the first 1000 attendees that day we received a swag bag that had some coupons and goodies including some stickers and fair trade lip balm. Cool! The coffee selection was diverse and very good. We had never heard of a few of the coffee vendors so it was great trying their coffee and meeting the friendly faces of the owners. There were a few non-coffee business and it was fun tasting their products too. I highly recommend getting a bottle or four of this stuff called beer syrup http://www.thebeersyrupcompany.com/ It will be great on so many things you eat. The latte art throwdown was a cool way for baristas to show off their amazing talent of pouring milk into creative designs. There was a small tv that showed the close up work but most people farther back would not benefit from this. (next year a projector would be great) Like many first festivals in the city, there were some hiccups along the way, but I hope that the producers review the event and correct anything for next year. I could easily see this branching out to include a stronger tea and food/dessert presence. So the negatives: crowded... the Music Hal ballroom is a great place but at most events I've attended here (Crafty Supermarket, Holiday Market), it always seems to clog up in the aisles and people that bring strollers do not help the situation. This event will probably move to the convention center and this will definitely alleviate most of the crowding. Lack of garbage cans. During this event, one samples numerous small cup samples of coffee or tea and then one had to hunt for a can to place the cup. Oh well... So, I hope this event becomes a yearly thing and look forward to attending.

This year's Cincinnati Coffee Festival was hosted at the Duke convention center downtown. Its…read moregrand ballroom turned out to be the perfect sized venue for the festival as it grows year over year. The quality of vendors was top notch. Of course, you will see plenty of light roasts, natural Ethiopians, single origins, etc. But even if you're not obsessed with coffee, there's something for everyone here. A variety of vendors represented related spaces besides coffee as well. For example, tea, chocolate bars, baked goods, drinking chocolate, handmade ceramic goods, etc. A few of my coffee favorites were Tinker Coffee, Yield Coffee Roasters, and Utopian Coffee. But even if Kalita Waves and Chemexes are not your thing, there were blends and darker roasts too. Savorista offered a specialty coffee quality decaf coffee. I haven't seen that before, and it feels like they're onto something. It's kind of analogous to the current bar trend of low-proof / no-proof cocktails. There were interesting options on the coffee alternatives side as well. Saku Tea creates turmeric, matcha, beet, etc mixes that you prepare like matcha with a bowl and whisk. Cup of Coa produces high quality cocoa-based drinks that are hot, cold, or frozen. From "bigger" companies, both Rishi and Natalie's brought new and experimental products. Rishi Tea offered a mushroom "tea" mix. Natalie's Juice sampled cold pressed juice cocktails as good as their orange juice. I also enjoyed the demo section where a couple of baristas from Rohs in Clifton were making and teaching people about (traditional) macchiatos... optionally with glitter on top. The event is well organized, vendors are great, and the ticket price ($15) is very reasonable. I will definitely come back next year.
