TO THE MANAGER/OWNER OF CINCO: The only reason I am giving Cinco three stars is because of its employees. 1. They gathered next to the kitchen to talk. Taking a sentence from another Yelp review below: "They hang out like if they were in the living room of their home". 2. In the 45 minutes that I was there I heard them complain about other customers, fuss about their schedule and ask others to share the photos they took recently. 3. I had to constantly wave at them to get their attention. I had three different individuals help me. 4. I accidentally spilled a glass of water before asking for the check. I paid and they never dealt with the spill. Before I left they just said "be careful its wet". 5. On another occasion I called to see if they were still open and they said yes. When I got there with my party, they all looked at us at the same time, one placed his hand on his head and the others started to murmur making us feel unwelcome. It is off-putting and very disrespectful. I hope you take this recommendation and do something about it. The food, the parking next to the restaurant and the decor are amazing. Came here for a group work lunch and wanted a semi quick bite to eat. Overall they had a wide menu mainly consisting of Puerto Rican staples. The prices were very reasonable, quality of the food was there, and the mofongo was on point. The sampler platter was enough for the whole table and was typical PR fare (queso frito, chicken tenders, papas, tostones, etc.) I ordered the salmon with creole sauce which sounded like not the greatest combo, but it ended up working. It was a short experience but from I did experience and taste, it was all good. Interior: Very nice. Clean. Waiters were well groomed and professional. Only wished that the area they sat us on the side which is a separate room, I wished they had turned in the AC prior to us arriving. We were a bit hot while the AC kicked in and got the room cooled. Exterior: Was attractive and catched the eye. I don't know about the SERVICE because I had to leave and return to our place but I returned in time to experience the food under their roof. Lol. This place was probably one of the best restaurants (food, service, and atmosphere) that we went during our stay in Puerto Rico. Initially we wanted to go to the Reef but they only had take out, and we saw cinco and it was very flashy and a lot of people sitting which convinced us to go there. It seems like a high end restaurant and the people working there were very nice. The service was great, and the waitresses were very attentive. The food also was very good. The atmosphere is also great and the lighting of the restaurant is very modern and well thought. For the appetizer we have mushrooms and Parmesan truffle fries, both of them very good and delicious. For the main food we had churrasco asado which also was very good. Finally, we finished our food with fried cheese cake and ice cream, yummy. I was so impressed that I asked to speak to the chef. He deserved the recognition. He is a young 29 year old that has SO much success in the future. So Aguadilla was a first and last time for me to visit, I am now a father, therefore, relaxation is a full time priority. Aguadilla is a surfer town, i was not aware of that but got a taste of it from some choppy ass waves that almost took me out. Where were we, yesss Cinco! So I have to say this place shocked me for the uniqueness in its dishes. The ability to blend Puertorican flavors with some Asian fusion was an unexpected home run, we started off with the tuna tartar on tostones. WTF! That was a real treat, probably the best tuna tartar I ever had. I ended up getting the Mofongo with churrasco in a kind of garlic creamy sauce with a side of rice and beans. Everything was finger licking good, the atmosphere for lunch was a little busy but very fast paced. The restaurant had a modern look that just worked really well with the modern dishes they were serving. Nicely decorated place with a great modern vibe. Excellent, warm and attentive service. The food was presented well and it was delicious. The Bacon Mac and Cheese had us all drooling. My Churasco steak was cooked beautifully, the double pork chop was flavorful and moist and the Mofongo was served with a generous portion of carne frita. We were torn on where to go for dinner, but I'm so happy we chose this spot. We sat on the terrace near the bar above the restaurant. The terrace has a much more limited menu compared to the one we saw below, but we still were able to order some really delicious plates. Although I hardly saw what the atmosphere was like below, my guess is that the terrace has a much more relaxed vibe. I ordered the churrasco con tostones, it was cooked perfectly and came with a really tasty chimichurri sauce. My friend ordered the fish tacos, and after trying them, I highly recommend them as an appetizer for the table--they were so good! I also ordered a passion fruit lemonade which was ridiculously good and made in house. For dessert I had the Nutella flan and it was also very yummy. The service was quite slow, and had I been in a rush or with bad company I might have been irritated by it. One of the greatest meals I've ever had !! This comfortable restaurant was recommended by everyone we've met who have visited Aguadilla, so we had to try it. WOW doesn't even begin to describe it.... Every dish is exquisitely prepared and looks like a work of art. The portions are huge and even though my tummy was full, I couldn't put my fork down. Then there's the coffee.... If you haven't tried Puerto Rican coffee (or even if you have), it will blow you away !! The only thing better than the food, is the excellent service.
