1. Appointments mean nothing to this store. I waited over 20 minutes past my appointment time to finally get my manicure started, which made me late for another appt. 2. The man who answers the phone has no clue about customer service. He doesn't listen to the customer: he asked me the same question three times and was oblivious to my responses. He got my phone number wrong and then tried to cancel my appointment. 3. My manicurist was very nice and thorough. 4. Another customer was listening to something on her cell phone at a volume level way too high such that I could hear it clearly two rows away. Her manicurist was laughing along with the customer, neither one having any thought as to how the phone noise was impacting on the rest of the customers. 5. this was the worst experience I ever had at a nail salon. I came in on a saturday and Sunday night all of them were broken. I emailed them and no one got back to me. I called them and they said to come in and they would fix them for free. I did but as soon as I was done, they charged me. This place is absolutely TERRIBLE!!!! Their signage on the websites, everywhere you look, says they close at 6pm today. So I get ready and trek all the way to Northgate Mall, which is a DEAD ZONE as it is, where you have to walk to depths of its innards just to reach the place, only for them to tell me at 4:45pm that they are "done for the day"! Initially I left pleased, although I was a little put off at the price. It cost $20 for a polish on my toes (they were bare and I filed them) and then $40 for SNS, $5 to remove the old and $10 for a design. I got SNS with a French tip. He painted the tip and before the night was over it was chipping on 7 of my nails. Just peeling off! Went back and decided to forego the tip because I don't have time to go back daily to fix it. He wouldn't return the money he uncharged me for the "design". THEN I check my bank account and they ran my card for an additional $5 over the price they told me!! I had an appointment at Cincinnati Nails at 6:30 PM and was nothing but polite and patient throughout my visit. Despite arriving on time and waiting respectfully, I sat there until 7:42 PM without being seen. Not one person offered an apology, an update, or even acknowledged the complete disregard for my time. I had booked with a specific technician, who was running behind--which I completely understand as a fellow service provider and business owner. However, I repeatedly asked if anyone else was available and was flatly told "no," with no attempt to accommodate, no customer service, and zero empathy. What's worse is the blatant lack of professionalism. No one cared that I had been waiting for over an hour. No one cared that I walked out without being serviced. No one took accountability. It was clear I was just another body in a chair, not a valued client. This was hands down the most frustrating and disappointing nail salon experience I've ever had. I wasted my time for nothing. And let's be real: if you're going to make people wait this long, at least deliver quality that's worth it--which I've seen here is very much mid at best. Deeply unprofessional and non-communicative. I will NEVER go back to this place. I was THREE minutes late for an appointment and when I inquired as to what happened, I was made out to be the problem. They would not properly communicate and I subsequently could not get my nails done. Mind you, I waited over 45 mins on my last appt and was fine with it but my 3 minute delay today caused the biggest problem ever. This was my first time at this salon,but I will not be going anywhere else from here on!! I went on a Thursday afternoon around 1:30 ish. I was able to be sat right away. The lady that did my nails was so sweet. (I believe her name was Thuy. I'm sorry if I'm wrong. )After every step (filing, shaping..etc.) she would ask how the nails looked. That was the first time while getting my nails done that I was asked how I liked my nails before being completely done. Just made me feel she really cared and wanted to do her best and it wasn't just another set of nails to do. My nails turned out better than I had expected. And they were a lot cheaper than I thought they'd be, especially for a salon inside the mall. :) 10/10 recommend Cincinnati Nails like I said, I will definitely be back! read more

Ummm yeah... they really need to go back to school and learn about a little thing called Customer Service. What started out as a good thing went south faster than a sinner running out church. I had finally found a nail technician that I loved and when I went to get a fresh set of Sns, I was informed that she no longer worked there; I'm so sad! I then went ahead and sat with another tech that discouraged everything that I requested; she said no to white Sns, she said that I wouldn't be able to get my natural nails shaped a certain shape and she said no to something else that I requested. Oh and when I mentioned that one my nails was shaped crooked she blamed it on the fact that it was because she was working on my natural nails and not a tip... the nerve! Even the person in the front that places the customers with the techs is not pleasant. Management please make some much needed changes...please! read more

I called Cincinnati nails at 8:00pm to get a fix for two nails. On google and on here it says closes at 8:30 . I spoke to someone after the phone wrung a while and they said that they could squeeze me in and then she said what time implicating that they close at 8:30. I said I can get there by 8:15 and she said okay that is fine. Get there at 8:19 and told them I'm the one who just called and she said I'm sorry but you'd didn't call I we close at 8:00 but there were people sitting in the waiting chairs and the nail techs were working actively. I show them my phone records and I was on the phone a 2 minutes so I wasn't leaving a dm. I clearly had a brief conversation with someone. They still denied speaking to me. And turned me away. Trash and their customer service sucks!!!! Hannah did my nails and she sucks...she immediately told me I only do shellac nails. I wanted a full set with a French tip. I told her I wanted polish and not shellac...she looked at me and said have I done your nails before? I said no you haven't. It took her 20 minutes to do my full set from start to finish and then when I ask her to make the curve under my French tip. She said I don't know how to do that. I asked her to paint clear polish over my nails. Then I showed her pictures of her work on her Instagram account where she is doing the curve French tip. Now she's looking stupid. NEVER GOING BACK pedicure was rushed (literally 15-17 mins) and #12 started my manicure while sitting in the spa chair so, I couldn't use my hands to operate the massage chair. NOT A RELAXING EXPERIENCE (which most pedicures should be). Tech put the wrong color on my toes and when I mentioned it he replied "well I already started"! Back to #12, she was so unprofessional and my manicure looks like a child colored my nails, I have paint all over the edges and just not a clean finish look. She complained about cutting my cuticles which I've never heard of before during any manicure. Complained about having to paint so many coats of green to get the right neon look. Didn't have me wash my hands before polish so my nail pads are lumpy and tough. No shine or smoothness. Oh, she also smudged my big toe nail paint and instead of taking the time to correct it she put a sticker and glitter over the smudge. It's all just one horrible mess. The man doing my nails was very nice, unfortunately when you spend $83 plus tip on a manicure and pedicure nice doesn't cut it if it looks like crap. I walked outside and realized my nails were each about a centimeter thick, extremely short, the color was sheer, my cuticles were bloody, and the shape was NOT square-round. I went back in to tell them I'm sorry but this just does not look good and they said if I walk out of the store they won't fix it. All I can do is talk to the man that did my nails. They ignored me and had me waiting for + 40mins. The front desk staff told me that he was going to find someone else to work on my nails. He failed to do that. He wasn't rude to me. He told me that it was his second day there. The regular workers were very rude and did not elaborate. I will not refer anyone to this salon. I felt uncomfortable the whole time. I was very happy with the nail tech (guy) that worked on my feet. Other than that, everyone else was rude.
