I'm new to Ohio, so I needed to find a new eyebrow person. No one was in this store and the lady working had her head down on the desk. I asked if they did eyebrow tinting and she said "Yes. But I'm not doing it today." I said "Ok.... can I just get my eyebrows waxed then?" She proceeded to say "No. I'm not doing anything today." Well.... why in the world are you open if you're not going to do anything for a customer? Plus I'm not even from the area but I would've traveled had she given me good customer service and if the work was worth the drive. Guess she lost someone who could've been loyal.

Today we went to this location to return it. When we first walked in we were not greeted, and nobody was wearing a name tag, nor introduced themselves. When we got to the register the line was long the counter was nasty with the employees food and drinks. When we got to the register we had to wait for 10 minutes for a manager to come help us with the return. The first lady we spoke to told us she could not do a return without a copy of the receipt. We went back out to my car and got an old receipt from ulta which clearly stated that their return policy did not require a receipt if you had an Ultamate membership. We went back in and waited at the counter for a different manager for another ten minutes who told us the same thing. I then read her the return policy on the receipt and she proceeded to look up my cousin's account which she should have done in the first place. Neither of the women helping us even bothered to check the purchase history or offer a store credit. After finding her employee account, the woman then said she could not do a return without a receipt SOLELY because she was an employee. My cousin told her she was wrong and the woman went to make a call to loss prevention and never came back, we waited for probably 20 minutes so we just left. When we were leaving, other people in line came up to us asking if the employees ever got the situation resolved and they were also shocked by the unprofessionalism. During this entire interaction all of the other employees, besides the salon employee, were making comments about us and laughing at us which was very unprofessional and rude. What should have been a simple return turned into time-consuming and aggravating interaction that never came to a solution. My cousin and I are both very upset and appalled by what we witnessed today and hope that Ulta can fix their employees' behavior.

All my money gone. It was set up ACH and due to security reasons I had to get a new bank card. I went for services nobody said anything. Nobody knew why or what happened. I was told twice someone would call me and never received said phone call. Today I had an appointment. I was reassured over the phone as Manager would be there specifically for me to make things right and work on my account. As of that moment on the phone, nobody knew why my package wasn't showing available. I get to the location and no manager and nobody knew anything. Again. Finally one gets another and that one calls a other a manger. Tell me what happened and tells me there is nothing that can be done to fix this. Idk how about taking the last payment and honor the agreement I entered into with the company ?l?? I feel completely ripped off and angry all due to ineffectual employees. I bought the package to pay $55-60 a wax. If you divide up what I paid for the amount of times I went to redeem I paid $112.50 each. I am angry and I want my services to be honored or my money back.

1. Parking is terrible and owner shows no interest in improving the situation…read more 2. Appointments clearly mean absolutely nothing to the owner. I had a 3:30 appt for gel mani and pedi. After a late start on the pedi by the owner who was doing my pedi work, she finished around 5 PM. Then the owner ordered me to sit at a mani station, where I waited 20 minutes for service. Finally I got up to look for the owner, who was doing a pedi on a different customer. I asked her what's going on. She said I had to wait for a manicurist, and it would be another 15 minutes before he was free. I do not have 3+ hours to spend on a simple mani/pedi! I left after making another mani appt for 8:45 the next morning. I arrived on time, and still had to wait and then go looking for the manicurist who I found cutting oranges in the back of the salon. "I'll be 5 minutes!" she said. Still waiting, she finally appeared. She did no cuticle work whatsoever, just polish removal and new polish. Not a satisfactory job whatsoever. 3. While this was going on, another customer arrived for 9 AM appt. Her manicurist never even arrived at the salon until 9:15. 4. The laminated services page I was handed was filthy. I tried to point that out to the owner, who ignored my comment about the crud and kept insisting I buy the most expensive service. That I did NOT do. 5. The shame of all of this is that there are actually good employees who want to do the right thing for their customers. Tony, my usual manicurist, who is wonderful, was on vacation. My mistake was expecting his level of service from other employees. 6. My daughter, who spends upwards of $200 every other week at nail salons, had a very similar experience as mine at Rio two weeks ago. It took them over 3 hours for her mani and pedi. She will never return to Rio, nor will I. I will miss Tony but I cannot reward such a poor company with my business.
