Everyone told me to try their breakfast burritos. I was disappointed the first time I went because I waited 20 minutes and received the wrong burrito. Since I had to go to work that morning, I called the restaurant and informed them of the issue. The manager offered me a remake. I came back the next day to receive the correct burrito. Their breakfast burritos are overall good. My only complaint is that the tortilla is too soft since it's homemade. It's almost impossible to eat the burrito without it breaking. These are the very best breakfast burritos I have eaten. I live 15 miles north in Itasca, love Karens as well, but MUST make the drive to Cilantros any chance I get. Sometimes I get 2, one for the next morning as well. They are humungous burritos, fresh, hot, with very soft tortillas. They have amazing sauces, but be careful with the red sauce. It has a great cilantro flavor, but packs a snappy breathtaking punch if you're not expecting it, liking spicy is a must. I eat the red and the green sauce on mine. Service is always friendly, and they do their very best. It's a tight circle, around a small building, drive thru only. If cars are wrapped around it to the street, odds are you should be prepared to be there a while. Don't think about pulling in there if you think you have "just enough time to get to work." Best for days off, or plan to leave a half hour earlier for work. read more

This place is one of the best fast food Mexican places around. When you think fast Mexican food you'd think Taco Bell. But THIS place has legitimate authentic REAL Mexican food. I was short on time so I called in an order for taco salad. They said it would be ready in 10 minutes. I get there ten minutes later and they take my money, but make me wait another 10 minutes to bring my salad. I asked what took so long and was told the drive thru got busy so they took care of the drive thru customers first. What's the point of calling in if they dont start preparing your food until you get there. Taco salad wasn't that good either. There was very little seasoning in the taco meat, if any at all. Stopped in while working in Hill County, was told they had "authentic" Mexican food. Great news, the Tacos are excellent, I had 3... Lingua(beef tongue), Barbacoa and Pastor. All wee really good, the pastor was the best I've had in a while. The Spanish rice is ok and the Charro Beans were really good. Oh and the Horchata is ice cold and refreshing. The restaurant has a drive thru but also has a few tables inside. It's clean inside and inviting, but it's small and not fancy(which is ok with me).
