Maybe not exactly authentic Mexican food, we had crunchy corn tortillas (the shells from the grocery store) but the chicken tacos 3 for $8 and shrimp tacos 3 for $14 were good, served with chips but no salsa . Had some doubts about the location as the sign on the building is missing, but we found it since there isn't much around it. We'd ordered the 3 amigos, passion fruit juice, corona, 3 cod beer battered fish tacos and a nacho with cheese, sour cream, vegetables and beans. The spicy green salsa was tasty, but not spicy for my hubby, they brought him the habanero. The guac and bean dip with the chips was good. My hubby mixed the pico with the guac to give it more flavor. The fish tacos were just okay, not special. The loaded nachos were so loaded and yummy. Well done to the chef for taking our order and making me something so good and filling enough that my hubby had to help me eat it up. Would definitely be back for the loaded nachos for sure. What?! When I first parked, I was like oh man- don't tell me I drove 40 min for this spot. We walked in and the waitress greeted us immediately. She was super cute and attentive. We ordered the Spicy enchilada w/ chicken, a shrimp quesadilla and a couple of beers. The food was INCREDIBLE. Flavorful, big portions left us full and super satisfied. Don't blink or you will miss this place as you drive by. Doesn't look like much from the outside but Milton will greet you with a warm smile and yes he has a deep voice. The food is fantastic and the hospitality is like being with family. They were watching a movie and even changed the subtitles to English for us two gringos. The cilantro burrito is outstanding and gigantic. Cover with melted cheese that is baked on and so delicious. I got the ground beef one and it was at least 2 pounds, no joke. My wife got the skirt steak quesadilla and between the two of us we could have fed four people. We asked for to-go boxes and Milton packed it all up for us and bagged it. When we got back to the hotel, Milton had packed an entire box of chips and salsa. This place is top notch. We would highly recommend it and want one in ST. Thomas. We were warmly greeted by Milton's booming voice. It was a sign of good food to come. The mango coladas were sweet and hit the spot after a long day at the beach. We ordered the burrito nachos to start and were floored by the unxiousness (yes that's a word) of the beef, cheese, and fresh guacamole piled on homemade chips. My two year old devoured it so you could add hot sauce of your choice from the hot sauce basket if you miss it. I didn't. My husband ordered the enchiladas verde and was warned it was big - it was huge. The meat was so tender and the verde sauce was just spicy enough and refreshing. One of the best verde sauces I have had. I ordered the Mar y Tierra quesadilla. The brisket meat was flavorful and so tender. You didn't even need the shrimp. Just order a plate of the slow cooked brisket and keep a napkin close by for wiping away tears of joy. Hospitality is almost as good as the food :) I hope to come back to PR just to eat here again. read more

When I walked in I scanned the menu and sat down. The waitress spoke Spanish, but could also speak good, understandable english. When I sat down, I looked through the menu and it had an array of items. The menu was expansive, but not overwhelming. When an option on the menu wasn't able to be made due to not having materials needed, the chef walked in to the restaurant and informed us that he could take the item off the quesadilla. Now, here is the piece de resistance, I ordered the beef club burrito. The burrito was cheese on cheese, with lots of ground beef inside. Best. Burrito. Ever. If you are trying to diet, do not eat there. The beef was seasoned well and was cooked perfectly. Overall it is an amazing restaurant. The only downside to this restaurant is that the food is fatty and plentiful, therefore calorie rich. read more

We decided to visit this restaurant because of prior Yelp reviews. It is within two minute drive from the Walmart shopping center, but is clearly not in a tourist area. In fact, we drove right past it. The photo of the exterior someone posted was very helpful. Parking was easy on the street. The restaurant was super clean and beautifully appointed, not something one would have expected from the ordinary location of the establishment. We were immediately greeted and made welcome. My wife is vegetarian, with help from the waiter they came up with a delightful Vege Burrito, my son likes it simple with a chicken and cheese Quesadilla, and I had chicken tacos. (pictures uploaded) We ordered a 3-sampler appetizer, and it was very good Food came out quickly on disposable platters and pre-wrapped disposable silverware. We kind of liked that because it gave us a high confidence that it was clean. Aside from the food, I usually base much of my review on the cleanliness of the restroom. And in this case, they get extra high marks. Super clean bathrooms, and very nicely decorated. We enjoyed our dinner and would highly recommend this establishment for a lunch or dinner. Lots of locals came by for carry out, another good sign of the popularity of this place. But without prior reviews, we would likely have never stopped to eat here. read more
