This is a cool little shop. Received very friendly and knowledgeable advice from a very down-to-earth owner. Several tv's showing tuned to business and sports, everything that you need in a cigar lounge. Check out the Padron collection, their prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of the cigar. read more

Cigars on 6th has a good (not great) selection of cigars (heavy on the Fuente and Rocky Patel lines) for a good prices, I don't know about John H.'s experience but there wasn't a lot going on when I stopped in. If you are on the east side of town, this is the place to go. read more

I'm not a cigar smoker except once every blue moon and when I told Jonathan (guy at the desk) he was all ears and willing to be at my service with arms wide open. He helped and explained to me a lot about cigars and choose one that would fit my liking. He was more than helpful and the selection is almost overwhelmingly great!!! read more

Great cigar shop. Very relaxing place to go after a long day of work or travel. I always stop by when in Denver at least a few times. Friendly staff. Good prices. read more

One of my favorite shops. This place has a wide variety of cigars and the staff is awesome!

Went in about a week ago and parused the inventory. Great selection, extremely relaxed vibe, and extremely inviting. Bought a torch from them and unfortunately failed on an attempt to light the second stick. They replaced it no questions asked. Excellent shop and worthy of your business! read more

I'm a bit late in getting to this review but when I'm in Denver visiting my son, this place is my base of operations. There are not many places in the country where you can post up with a cigar, a snort of good whiskey, read the paper, shoot the shit with like minded guys, get a little work done with on the I-Pad (free Wifi) AND ... get a straight razor shave and a haircut all under the same roof. Tony the Barber is the best! You can even enjoy a cigar and a drink while in the barber chair. Manly nirvana! read more

My wife and I went into this store just before our wedding to get some cigars. The staff was very helpful and really hooked us up with nice cigars that were in our price range. Free boxes and he threw in a cutter too. read more

I work in the neighbor and for my birthday I wanted to do a little special for myself... so I called, came in and was treated like a princess! That's right, as a female these guys were GREAT! I felt welcomed. They took time with me, helped me find a couple of items and just made it a really amazing experience. From here on out, this will be the only cigar bar I will go to! This will be the only place I recommend. Thank you Cigars on 6th! read more

Great atmosphere for sitting and having a relaxed smoke. I'm visiting from out of town and while there is clearly a group of regulars -- they sit to the right of the entrance -- I didn't get a "you don't belong here" vibe. Genuine friendly staff and a well stocked humidor of mostly upper tier sticks. That's the only thing that keeps me from a 5 star rating. It's a bit pricey. It would be nice to have a better selection of good quality/value smokes. Think Perdomo Lot 23, unbanded quality manufacturors seconds or over runs. Then again, that may not be their business model. If you're in Denver, like cigars, and have a few extra bucks, stop into 6th street cigars. (Forgot to mention, you can also get a shave and/or a haircut at the one chair barber's, definitely not "stylist's," in the back.) read more

This is exactly what you want in a cigar shop. Their selection is excellent and the staff can help you pick out something great for any cigar smoker. If you're looking for a good place to smoke a cigar, there isn't a more friendly yet entertaining environment. If you're lucky you could even run into a local celebrity (if Denver has such a thing), as many local news anchors and comedians do frequent the shop. I do try to limit the number of cigars I enjoy in a week, but at least once a day I find myself wanting to go enjoy yet another good time at Cigars on 6th. read more

Love this place. Really comfortable atmosphere to come and enjoy a smoke with your friends. Really friendly and helpful staff. Great selection of cigars and fair prices. read more

This is the best cigar shop in the state! They have a friendly staff that will give you plenty of recommendations based on your preferences. The lounge is comfortable and welcoming. The prices are good too. It's a great place to catch up with a friend, make new ones or watch the game. If you get hungry, Lime is across the street. I only wish the shop served alcohol. read more

Great ok place to go and have a cigar and relax for. awhile. Prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly.

I love this place. I'm hear at least 3-4 times a week. I've met some wonderful people here. I'd recommend it to anyone!

Great place for a newer cigar enthusiast. I waked in (on a Monday afternoon) to a few guys sitting and smoking, was helped quickly by (tall) Mike, and he was able to teach me which humidors I should consider, why I should look at propylene glycol vs distilled water, and how to start on my cigar journey. There is a well stocked walk-in humidor, and it looked like there were private lockers available. A great place I would recommend to family / friends / whoever, and I plan to visit again soon! read more

Value - Appropriately priced, great deal for your money. I enjoy the location and the selection. The humidor is great and the local puffers are welcoming. Performance - Staff is always available and willing to go above and beyond to make sure the facility is maintained and that the customers are well taken care of. Ease of Use - Access to the building has never been a problem and I can almost always find a parking space right out front. Features - Lounge, well-stocked humidor and market rate pricing bring me back every time. Also has smoking accessories available for purchase including some travel humidors, lighters, cutters, etc. Criticism - I have no criticisms with the place and I have been a return customer on several occasions. Overall - Centrally located, hip & cool, and considerably inexpensive . . . This spot rules. Grab a stoagie to smoke there or one for the road, you won't be disappointed. read more

I've been a locker member here for a while and this place is awesome. They really know how to take care of their customers here. Great selection, great service, plenty of interesting characters around to keep things exciting, lots of really cool special events and hard to find boutique cigars. This shop really tries to support the little guys in the industry and is not afraid to invest in the up and coming cigar brand. Dan, Stanley and Andy are amazing and Jarrod's not bad when he's there too. I love this shop. read more

By far the best cigar shop in Denver. The atmosphere is that of a laid back country club, humidor full of the latest selections at reasonable prices, and a very professional staff (Jonathan, Gary, Jarrod, and Stan) that can talk you through the history of any cigar in the place. Once Stan knows your type of cigar, he always picks out exactly what I need at that time in the day. Thank you Dan Dunne for creating such a wonderful cigar lounge experience and providing cigar selections for the most discerning aficionado. read more

Great little local spot, first class humidor very well maintained everything is kept immaculate! If you don't find a stick here to suit your taste it's because the stick your looking for is up your arse! No bar but nice atmosphere with wifi! read more

I was in the shop yesterday, 1/1/15 with eight buddies and had a great experience. Stanley was very helpful, polite, and friendly. The prices are right and the selection is expansive. I plan to start spending a lot more time there. read more

I love this place. The people that you get to meet here are the nicest most welcoming people around. The staff is so nice and very helpful. I had driven by this place countless times before a couple buddies and me decided to grab some Friday happy hour stogies. I couldn't believe how cool it was in there and how awesome the lounge was. I frequent this place with my buddies and when i have friends in town. Great place to chill and great prices. read more

Definitely in the top 5 best cigar shops in the country. The guys are a bit heavy at first but once you get to know them most are very friendly. This shop has a very eclectic feel to it. Old school shaves and atmosphere. Great selection of boutique cigars, only good quality. This is not the place to get a swisher sweets. @Simon S - We have no humidity in Denver, if you don't take care of your cigars they will blow up. Anyhow, great shop, lot of fun, great smokes. Ask for help when buying a large selection to fill your humidor. I've gotten some eye opener advice from the guys in CO6. Last thing, they don't charge to sit and have a smoke! I have been amazed by the number of cigar shops that want to charge to hang out. read more

I bought the "cigar of the month club" for my fiance for Christmas. He was so excited! We were promised that they would ship within the first 5 days of the month.....I'm now on my fourth phone call and on day 17 and no cigars. Sadly disappointing customer service. If they fix the situation, I will rewrite my review read more

I would not recommend ever ordering cigars from this store and expecting them to show up on time. When I say on time I am not talking about a couple days later than promised, I am talking about over a month late. Their cigar of the month club was advertised as a valentines gift to arrive before Valentines day and then every first week in the months to follow. We received our first shipment over 6 weeks late, when we called to inquire the management was rude and unhelpful In saying it wasnt their fault and coming up with every excuse under the stars. No concessions were made. We are still waiting on our second months shipment 3 months later. We paid them in full up front and have yet to get what we paid for. read more

Tony the Barber is AWESOME and OLD SCHOOL. For me, it's worth the 1.5 hour drive!!! Great staff, cliental, and cigar selection. Trifecta of greatness! read more

Terrible customer experience today. I frequent this place multiple times a week. I walk in with cigar in my pocket. Light it. Moron behind counter confronts me - in front of other customers - "where did u get that cigar?". Caught off guard, I explain to him that my good friend, who is a cigar rep, sent a box of them to me. Moron says: "if you come in here u really need to buy a box of cigars from here". If the Moron had limited brain cells he could look up my credit card/cash transactions to see how much I've spent in there the last 2 years - probably more than he earns in 6 months. I walked out. Didn't complain. Just walked out. Never to return. Oh how I love Twitter, Facebook, Yelp and Denver Magazine... such an efficient way to get the word out... read more

These guys need some help with customer service! As I was leaving the store, I heard the guy that had just sold me 20 $ in cigars, call me a racist slur ! I will not ever return! Sad!!! read more

Love this place. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about their cigars and can turn around and offer you suggestions if your go to cigar is not on their shelf. The people/regulars/clients are just wonderful. They all make you feel like one of the bunch. If I lived in Denver, I'd make this place my home. You have coffee spot across the way, a bar in the same block and bbq and other food places dotted along the road. Its not hard to find...just take 6th into downtown and you will see it on the left on the corner of Washington and 6th! There is a full time barber in the back too! read more

1st time there & newbie cigar aficionado ... very helpful and knowledgeable & willing to take time away from the counter to walk me throught the shop. got a kick out of the LOM sitting around a chewing the fat, can see me turning into one down the road ... read more

What a great place. I happened to come in on a Wednesday afternoon and I was warmly greeted by a couple of the owners. I knew what I was after and they had both of the sticks I was in the mood for that day, as well as a glass bottled coke. The regulars were sitting down together and seemed to welcome me and were very friendly and shared some good laughs and stories with one another. I had some time to spend talking with one of the owners about cigars and growing regions, and found him to be incredibly knowledgeable. He then made a suggestion on a well-priced cigar that I hadn't tried before. What a great profile! If you enjoy cigars and a clean shop, come here. read more

I was recently in Denver on business and found this great shop. To start off they had an excellent selection of cigars. The staff was very friendly, knowledgable, and willing to help find whatever you needed. I was lucky enough to go in everyday for about a week and was welcomed by a crowed of regulars. There was a great variety of personalities which made everyday interesting. Two nice size TVs make having a cigar and watching the days game very comfortable. Another great feature of the lounge was the barber shop where you can get an old fashion shave with the straight razor. All in all if your looking for a place to stop and have great conversation and a great smoke this is the place to be in Denver. read more

This is a cigar shop!!! I just moved to Wyoming from Texas and was looking for a cigar shop in the local area(Cheyenne) because I think it's important to support your local shop. However, there was only one cigar shop to choose from with a descent selection but they didn't carry any Liga Privadas much less the more rare cigars I was looking for. I had been looking for the Liga Privada Dirty Rat and Feral Flying Pig for over a year with no success. I even went to the extreme of signing up on over 15 different online cigar stores to notify me when they had them in. This was the first shop I called in Denver and I spoke with a guy by the name of Daniel. I asked him if they had those cigars and he said "no, but call later in the week and I might have them in." First thing I said when I hung up the phone was this guy is full of b.s. because there's no way it was that easy to get my hands on these cigars that I've been looking for for over a year. Sure enough, Thursday finally came around and he called me up saying he had a box for me with my name on it.. The excitement of finally getting my hands on such a rare box of cigars was insane, unexplainable. My journey of finding them was finally over, so I thought. He calls me back a couple of weeks later and tells me he had some Liga Privada UF-13's for me if I want them. Ummm, yeah I want them!!! If only I could get a hold of the owner to thank him for running such a great shop with great people on the inside. Great Shop and I definitely recommend coming here to give it a shot. Thanks again CIGARS ON SIXTH!!! read more

So today I enjoyed a great cigar (Ashton Maduro) and some great conversation. Beautiful day in the mile high city to sit and enjoy a cigar. Cool jazz playing and some funny stories going around, overall a good time. I was just reading the other reviews and read Simon C's review. I happen to be standing there and heard the conversation. It didn't go down exactly how he posted it. He walked in and pulled a cigar out of his pocket and used the shop cutter and lighter. The guy behind the counter said "It's okay to bring in your own cigars but we ask that you buy a stick from time to time here" This is not unreasonable. I've been to multiple shops in Denver you can't smoke in without a membership ($$$). The guy behind the counter was polite and I get it. If you want to come in and sit in their chairs, watch their TVs, drink their coffee and/or water, it's not to much to ask for you to purchase a cigar. Who's the moron? Cigars on sixth is a great shop, check it out, and don't be a cigar squatter... read more
