I've been stopping through here for months now. It's a cool place to sit and have a smoke. I never go in the members area even though they said I could as a visitor. The cigar prices are reasonable and fair selection. Bottled water is a buck. Cant' beat it. The staff is very efficient and knowledgeable. Booked the Red Room for a private party and everyone had an amazing time. We were able to set up food and drinks. Staff were great and helpful when needed. The selection is unparalleled for the area. I bought a handful of Undercrown, Montecristo, and Ashton cigars. The cigars were pliable and fresh. Plus, there are cigars for most budgets, which is nice when pinched for discretionary income. The staff are very knowledgeable and always steer me in the correct direction with regard to recommendations or information on whether a particular cigar is mild, medium, or full-bodied. I am a native of Denver and have been smoking cigars since the 90's. I even had a part-time job at Tewksbury for a while back in the day. I don't know why I have never known about the Smoking Cave Cigar Lounge before last week... I was pleasantly surprised at the selection. It's not that they have the largest selection out there, it's that their selection consists of mostly cigars that I would love to smoke, would be proud to gift, or receive as a gift. They were not bogged down with average, 'budget', no-name, or gimmicky cigars to fill space, but were packed with prestigious, and sought after cigars. That they have a great selection of sought after cigars, does not mean that they are unjustifiably pretentious with unreasonable pricing. Their selection is priced reasonably. Top notch high quality humidor filled with the best of the best cigars! Beautiful store with cigar lounge inside, great for testing and smoking your favorite new cigar. The customer service is ok, actually kind of blah. I've been here twice because of the availability and great selection of cigars not because of the customer service. Both times I've visited the staff looked at me and my wife like we were aliens with our heads cut off. Plenty of staff behind the counter. No offer to help. I will probably use the store one more time in the future to see if I caught the staff in bad days. You walk in and a greeted by the staff. Usually the owner Sean is there to say hello and welcome you, if not one of the amazing staff members will. When you walk in there are comfortable chairs to the left and right. They have a nice selection of ashtrays, and other things that you would need. The what I like to call the fun cigars are in the back right of the shop. Those are your rare cigars. Then to the right of them you open up the door to an amazing selection of cigars. They have cigars ranging from $10 to $100 and everything in between. This place is like my home, the people there are awesome, the regulars that are there are a great group of people. If you have a chance and are around there go in. You won't be disappointed. read more

An interesting cigar lounge..... They have about a dozen "pleather" chairs in the "public" area lounge and they are open till 10:00pm. The walk in humidor has a nice selection of smokes and the accessories are nicely displayed. BUT the atmosphere is COLD and sterile thanks to the OVERPOWERING overhead fluorescent lights!!! It would be a simple matter of removing the tubes over the lounge area and adding a couple of "torch" style lamps in the corners and you'd have a nicer lounge. read more

Awesome spot to pick up a couple of cigars and to enjoy them. I've been staying up the road from the Cigar Cave for work, and decided to pop in. Murph was working, and was super friendly/helpful. I was interested in buying a cool cigar box, but unfortunately it still had cigars in it! He found another one to consolidate the cigars into; and sold me the box anyway. $2 was a great price, and he informed me that all box sales go towards charity. Definitely a win-win scenario. The cave itself is spacious, with comfortable leather chairs, televisions, and a fridge (BYOB.) There's also a microwave if you want to bring your own food. I liked the spot so much that I came back a few days later to watch the NBA finals. Place has a great selection of cigars, but as many have said, it's a little cliquey - meaning strictly that there are friendly usuals that will frequent the place and not a whole lot of places for others to sit and enjoy a cigar. Not very spacious; very limited seating in the "common area", and at $200 a year for a membership to the "lounge" that seats like 12 people - not much for what you're paying. Go to Stanley Pappas for a similar selection of fine cigars but seating areas and room for all of your friends with actual tobacconists who are friendly, and knowledgeable. read more

I walked in after a long day on the road excited to stock up and try a couple brands I heard about. As soon as I walked in I noticed the nice lounge full of what seemed like regulars. Immediately felt unwelcome by the looks given like I didn't belong. I was ready to drop down serious cash but after feeling unwelcome and then feeling rushed by the worker I just grabbed a few and was ready to go. Overall a nice cigar shop and good selection, but I'd rather go elsewhere or order online with better prices then feel unwanted and judged. That's why two stars is all I'm giving. read more

This was a plenty fine cigar shop though I'm not sure I'll be coming back. Their selection was very good and the humidor was really nice but it lacked the same "feel" as some other places, including the nearby Stanly Papa's. Not quite the same ambiance, and the folks there were pleasant, they didn't give off that incredibly warm feel that I get at most cigar places. Prices were fair for a B&M shop. They d carry social smoke shisha for you hookah smokers which is nice to have locally. I wouldn't tell anyone not to go here but I wouldn't tell them go out of their way to go there either. read more

It's nice to have a shop like this in the middle of suburbia. The hours are convenient and the atmosphere is decent. Just like other cigar shops, leather couches and decorated with all the sponsored swag from big cigar companies. Prices are fair, and they even have a "Man Cave" membership room that is accordingly more luxurious and exclusive. I have come here multiple times, and brought friends (additional business). The staff is willing to answer questions and provide timely service. It's sufficient, but I have had much better interactions with staff at other shops. They delivered a store that had some immaculate choices I've been graced with only a few times in this life. I am a huge fan of blowing smoking from Java drenched cigars onto the altars of my favorite deities. This store stocks rare exotic flavored cigars from all over the world. If it's not flavored, then where is the fun? The lounge was not so much a lounge, but I'm not the lounging type. They are attached to a liquor store, so convenience was a wow factor. Sean, the owner is friendly and courteous and a good businessman. They have a large selection of cigars along with smoking accessories from humidor a to lighters. They have leather couches and chairs with plenty of ashtrays to relax and enjoy your smoke. They host many events here and draw a good crowd. You can also become a member for a fee. I like that they sell sodas and other drinks to enjoy as well. I always recommend this place to friends and family. They're not stuck up like other cigar shops I've visited in other states.
