I just moved to Highlands Ranch and was looking for a disposable vape device, they were friendly and the service was fine. The product is the main issue, I bought a device which red flag one was the fact that they kept everything under the counter and had little display. The nail in the coffin though is when I was looking at the side of the box of the device and saw they had place a sticker with false statistics over the actual statistics. That is false advertisement and illegal. Never going here again and would recommend if you did to check for misleading packaging. read more

I downloaded Yelp just to leave this review. I've been going to Hype for a few years now. A couple weeks ago I tried to run into another shop just to grab a cartridge, because it was convenient, and they couldn't even be bothered to look and see if they carried them. I take the bus, and since moving, Hype is a bit out of my way, but it's so worth the trip every time. Every member of their staff is incredibly knowledgeable and always able to answer all my questions when I'm looking for a new device or new products, they have a huge selection and great products, and they go out of their way to help me stay within my very tight budget. They are very friendly and personable. My life is in constant flux, and my aesthetic changes nearly as often, but they always recognise me, call me by name, and ask me how things are going, not just in a customer service manner, but a in a manner of genuine care. I was using mobility aids due to a neurological condition last year, and walked in recently to see a staff member I hadn't seen in while. He gushed over how amazing it was that I walked in unassisted. It was honestly the highlight of my day. I wish I could call him out, but my brain is seriously mush when it comes to names. Every member of the staff shows the same level of connection. No matter how far I move, as long as I'm in the metro, I'll take the effort to make the trip out here. Above and beyond. Wish I could give WAAAAAY more stars. read more

This review is long overdue (and also really long)! so: TL;DR Drew is an awesome employee, this store is totally reliable and great, and i definitely recommend shopping here. So many great things to mention about this shop, but I have to start by calling out Drew, who is probably the most helpful person I've encountered in any retail experience of any store (vape or otherwise) i've ever been to. I've been to this shop a couple of times, usually with a problem or dumb question. I really just don't understand anything about my vape pen thing or even what my preferences for juices are. Somehow, Drew is always the salesperson helping me (does he ever get a day off? I mean for real, he's always the person helping me out). Whether its finding a juice or troubleshooting a pen, I always get really thorough and friendly help. He's very patient, obviously knows what he is talking about, and makes solid recommendations with actual descriptions of why the item he's recommending makes sense for what I'm specifically asking for. Plus he's actually pleasant to talk with and doesn't make me feel rushed or like i'm being a burden for asking for help with something, even if there are other people who need help in the store (they don't get ignored either, i guess employees here are just good multitaskers?). I never feel pressured to buy something expensive even if it might be "better." They obviously evaluate customers' needs to make meaningful suggestions rather than just send them out the door with something expensive or unnecessary. In the short amount of time since i switched from smoking to vaping, i had gone through three different pens i had bought at different stores that were "convenient" for their location (closer to where i work, on the way home from somewhere, etc). But, the pens kept breaking (irreparably) or malfunctioning due to poor design. Drew made a recommendation based on the issues i was having (and explained why those other items kept breaking). I haven't had to replace this pen yet -- this alone is valuable, since having to replace these things is expensive and ANNOYING. Apart from excellent customer service, the shop itself is really nice and well stocked with a decent selection or products. One of the things that really deterred me from switching to vaping for a long time is how douchey so many other vape shops seem - from the employees to the decor, i had never really enjoyed being in a shop when i tagged along with friends. Hype vape is none of that excess flash and dumb neon lights stuff. It's a regular, super clean, well-stocked store that has enough variety for me to actually have options when I'm shopping for something. Also, unlike other establishments, they really do put customer service at the forefront of their business model, which I think creates a more valuable experience than having backlit shelves and a damn laser light show on the wall. I won't say they have the largest selection of products in town, but I can say that they always have multiple options for me when I need something new -- I never have to just "settle" on something because of lack of selection. I think this store is great whether you're a long-time vaper or sort of new to it, like me. There's plenty to choose from, great service, normal pricing (as far as I can tell) and comfortable seating if you're trying to just hang out (not my thing, but if you're into it then hey whatever its available). At this point, i'm giving up on just going to whichever store i'm closest to at a given time, which i've done a handful of times only to be disappointed by bad/uninformed service or products that break. It's easier for me to just go to Hype, knowing i won't have to return something defective later. so, If you've read this far, damn. good for you, man! you deserve your own five start review for reading this novel of a review. If you're seriously reading reviews to find a store to buy vape stuff at, i hope this actually helps. I've been to like half a dozen shops around the south Denver area, but this is the only one i can say nice things about so far. read more
