I'm just am average guy who values customer service but also owns up to my own faults. I visited Cigar Phoenix on Pine Rd and thru my own fault left my lighter on the table. I called a friend still there and asked to have the manager put it behind the counter to pick up the next day. Well the next day I arrive and the employee "Wayne" tells ask what it looked like and then says " that was a nice lighter. It was on the table when I was leaving ,I knew it wasn't one of ours so I took it home". I asked him to bring it back and I'd come back the next day to get it. I come back and another manager tells me that he wasn't due in until later that evening so I left my number. Another day no call from the store, then I call the next day and still no lighter. Most businesses have a simple lost and found policy of hold items behind the counter and see if someone returns for it. I never heard of employees allowed to remove that which does not belong to them because it's nice looking and don't demand they return it to the store after a customer inquiry that has been verified. Four days after my original return to find my lighter two visits to ask and a phone call nothing. They have my number if the want me to have it returned gas cost too much to keep driving there for nothing. However, they have lost me as a customer and I will not be suggesting them to anyone else. Good experience = 5 potential customers, bad experience = loss of 20 potential customers. read more

I tried 4 times to phone ahead but no one answered at all. When I got there, I informed the clerk (or manager). But he was at loss of words, saying nothing and looking floored. I asked for a box of the most MELLOW Churchill cigars. He did not know what mellow meant. I was shocked because cigar order companies categorize cigars from strong to mellow. I had to explain the meaning of mellow to him. Then he showed me two boxes of cigars. I bought one from him. When I opened the cigar box, it was not Churchill cigars to my shock. I will never go there again. I will go to other cigar stores who have been friendly to me in the past. read more

found this place on yelp... where else? not just eateries but cigar bars... Owner allowed me to bring in my own sticks as I had purchased a few in nearby Doylestown a few days earlier (I left my stash home in SC). Their humidor was well stocked and the prices fair. The ambiance was great with at least 3 different rooms (1 for members) to relax in. The place was kept very clean (as evidenced by lots of empty ashtrays). Since I had looked, this place now has 17 locations throughout the tristate area. Must be doing lots right! Five stars? get a liquor license. read more

I travel all over Pennsylvania and found the best place to bye cigars in Cigar in Colmar or Doylestown

Let me preface this by saying that I don't smoke cigars, but the few times I've been in with my husband or to buy a gift for him, I've really liked the store. Their humidor is awesomely huge compared to others I've seen and they have a great variety to choose from. They tend to put up descriptions and ratings for some of their cigars which I find helpful for making a selection, but if you have any questions, their staff members are super helpful and knowledgable. I also find it nice that while this is a very guy-centric store, they're always willing to help me out when I'm in to buy a gift. I know that of all of the stores in the area (and really, any cigar shops he has ever visited) this shop is my husband's favorite. read more

Compared to any other cigar store I've been to, this place takes the cake with respect to selection and customer service. To put it into perspective, their walk-in humidor is the size of the apartment I lived in from 2005-2007. Admittedly, though I've been smoking cigars for probably 3 years, I still consider myself a novice. Therefore, I'm very appreciative when the clerks ask me what I'm looking for. They can easily help me pick something new based on things I've tried and enjoyed. And they are typically right on the money. They keep some odd hours (e.g., they seem to be open later on Sundays than I would expect), but this is likely the result of the seemingly very active club that they run (which also seems very intriguing). Additionally, due to their great relationships with their distributors and manufacturers, they normally have a weekly meet and greet with the likes of the Fuentes or the Patel Brothers, which also brings some great sales on cigars (buy 3 get one free, or buy a box and get a tee shirt and hat). If you are a new cigar hobbiest or an old hand, this place most certainly will have something to suit your tastes. I do not hesitate to give Cigar, Cigars, Colmar 5 stars. read more

Cigar Cigars in Colmar has a huge selection of the finest cigars in the area. They also have a very nice lounge for the public where you can enjoy your smoke, a cup of coffee, large screen TV. In addition, there is a private lounge area for members (a reasonable annual membership fee that entitles you to a 10% discount on all purchases), plus other benefits, The staff is extremely knowledgeable, friendly... and the regular members/patrons are some of the nicest people you will ever meet.
