I didn't feel pressured or pushed out, she was so welcoming and took the time to answer all my questions. Great community and amenities. Nice kept and rather quiet for a Saturday Afternoon. Nice place over all.

The quiet I noticed during my daytime tour proved misleading. After living here for about ten…read moremonths, I've learned that this community becomes very loud at night. The most persistent problem is the AC condenser units installed directly outside each apartment. Each one starts with a loud crack and then settles into a noisy hum, and with so many units cycling on and off, there is rarely a quiet stretch. That repeated activation keeps my body in a state of chronic stress, even when I'm trying to rest. On top of that, I regularly hear cars racing through the property, slamming their brakes, and scraping along the pavement as late as 1 a.m. Sudden, jarring noises like these are especially harmful at night, and research links long-term nighttime noise exposure with higher rates of hypertension, ischemic heart disease, heart attack, and stroke. Years of unmanaged exposure is a serious health risk, not just an annoyance. The children here are well behaved. They occasionally ride their bikes through the community, but they are never out making noise at night. It is the adults and their visitors who disturb the peace. Our unit sits closer to the mobile homes, where constant barking dogs and traffic add to the noise pollution problem. I would strongly recommend against choosing this community.

I didn't have an appointment, and walked in with someone that did. He was nice enough to let me tour with him and his daughter, so the Leasing agent didnt have to do separate tours AND I wouldn't have to wait. I forget the name, but the biggest upgraded 1 bedroom, but it was the one I liked mostly. mostly.

Beautiful property, but READ EVERY WORD BEFORE SIGNING ANYTHING…read more The property itself is gorgeous, and my tour guide paid attention to details about my lifestyle when showing me units, which, that part was genuinely great. But unfortunately, I got badly burned on the application/holding fees, and I've learned I'm not the only one. I was never told upfront that I only had 72 hours to withdraw my application and get my fee back. I asked multiple times, both during the tour and on follow-up calls, whether I could get my $200 holding deposit back if I didn't like the unit once it was actually ready to view. I was told yes, every time. I specifically said I didn't want to sign anything with the lease, until I'd seen the actual unit I'd be living in. When the time came for the approval phone call, I felt pressured into moving forward on a unit I hadn't agreed to sight-unseen, and ended up losing $250 ($50 application fee + $200 holding fee) rather than deal with it further. (Now imagine multiple other applicants in the same situation... it can add up..) This is my first time renting in the US, so yes, I should have read the fine print more carefully instead of trusting what I was told on the phone and in person. That's on me. I can own that. But if they're loose with the truth before you've signed anything, I have to wonder what else is buried in the lease itself. TO FUTURE RENTERS AND OTHER FIRST TIME RENTERS: bring someone experienced with US leasing, bring a real estate agent, or at minimum read every single document before you hand over any money... don't rely on verbal reassurances, even if the staff seem trustworthy. I trusted the leasing team, including Toni, and it cost me $250 to learn that lesson

I am truly blessed to call Homecoming at the Resort my home…read more When I first visited Homecoming at the Resort in May, I remember walking through the community and thinking, "There is no way they are going to lease an apartment to me." The apartments were so beautiful, the grounds were incredibly well maintained, and the community genuinely looked and felt like a resort. It has every imaginable amenity, including shops right in the middle of the community where you can get ice cream and some really good food. It was absolutely beautiful, but at the time, it felt like something that was probably out of reach for me. Then I met Amanda, Leasing Administrator, and my entire perspective changed. Amanda was so encouraging, professional, kind, and positive. She seemed to understand exactly what I was looking for, even when I wasn't sure how to explain it myself. I was coming out of what I can only describe as a wilderness season in my life, and I was carrying a lot of fear and uncertainty. Amanda called me, and I decided to be completely honest with her. I shared my fears and told her I wasn't sure I would be approved. Instead of making me feel judged or discouraged, she encouraged me to apply anyway. She told me that even if I wasn't approved, she would still help me figure out what options were available to me. That meant more to me than she probably realized. There are very few people you meet who genuinely give you hope when you need it most. Amanda is one of those rare people. Her kindness, encouragement, and willingness to help blessed me in a way that went far beyond leasing an apartment. She gave me hope when I really needed it. And then... I GOT APPROVED! I've been in my apartment since July, and I can honestly say that I still love it just as much today as I did when I first moved in. My apartment is absolutely beautiful, comfortable, and so well taken care of. The community is wonderful, and something that has really touched me is how kind my neighbors are. They actually say good morning, take the time to talk, and genuinely make an effort to get to know me. That kind of community is special. Every person I've interacted with in the leasing office has been incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming. And it doesn't stop with the office staff. The maintenance crew, gardeners, and everyone I've encountered who works for this company have been so kind and professional. It truly feels like the people who work here care about the community and the people who live in it. But I especially want to say THANK YOU, AMANDA. You may have simply been doing your job, but the way you treated me made a lasting difference in my life. You encouraged me when I was afraid, you saw possibility when I was struggling to see it myself, and you helped me take a step toward something I didn't think was possible. You are rare, Amanda. Thank you for your kindness, your professionalism, your encouragement, and for being willing to help me regardless of the outcome. You blessed me with hope--and I'll never forget that. Homecoming at the Resort isn't just a beautiful place to live. For me, it became a reminder that sometimes a new chapter can begin when you least expect it. I am grateful. I am thankful. And I am truly blessed to call Homecoming at the Resort HOME. Thank you to Amanda and the entire Homecoming at the Resort team for making this place feel like home.

Every now and then, the popsicle man manages to get in, and the one homeless (typically harmless) man manages to get in, but that is about it. I lived there for two years, and while it was quite brief, there were no major break-ins or burglaries. The parking is a joy. You can almost guarantee you will have more than enough parking spots left, especially for people who work at night. If you are lucky, you get shaded parking, which is helpful during the scorching summer. There is a cool playground at the heart of the complex, which is great for wearing your little ones out. The location to places makes this place very convenient. Superior Grocers is barely a five-minute drive (or a fifteen-minute walk.), there is a church that is 7 minutes away. One major issue I had was the new toilets, which had very low pressure when flushed. My tip: buy a bucket because you may need one for the first big flush. When you flush the first time, don't panic if it feels like it won't flush. Listen for the toilet tank fill-up, and then judge how much waste material you have liberated to know whether it's a bucket flush or regular flush. The lack of in-unit laundry ultimately made it increasingly uncomfortable and so, we moved. Other than that, this is generally a great place to live.

My family absolutely adores the warm and effective team, including Chrissy, Shelly, Maria and the newest member Ian. I cannot rave about them enough! Chrissy and Shelly always make us feel welcomed and part of a community. They work hard no matter what the circumstances to make us feel heard, respected and to resolve any issues quickly. Maria and Ian not only efficiently and effectively work to make sure everything is clean and in working order, but also make us feel like family. When working on resolving issues in the apartment, they never leave a mess and they are very communicative with what's going on. They always smile and are great with my young kids. Shelly and Chrissy are a great team of handling big and small requests from us. I remember one time, some random salesman came to my apartment wandering when I was not home, I caught that on my camera so I called the leasing office and asked for Shelly's help because I have a package delivery soon during that time. Shelly ran from the office to my apartment and requested the person leave the complex, and I never see any salesman knocking on my door since then. After Chrissy and Shelly came, the dog poop bags are always refilled, they even make the office feel like home to us, they hosted different events for different holidays celebrations and enlightened our stay a lot. We love Shelly and Chrissy, they are the reason why we would still staying in this complex, cannot imagine a day without them, especially Shelly. They are so good that actually makes the complex really dog friendly, including the office. Before this team came, we felt unwelcome and not truly dog friendly. But now, we hope to stay longer because of how good they are, will highly recommend this community to everyone who wants to live in a good environment with good energy people to manage the complex!
