We arrived around "linner" time (lunch + dinner) and the place was busy in the best way possible. Our service was good. I got the chicken fajita quesadilla and my sister got the chicken crema. Including tip, $40 fed us both... Portions were excellent and we LOVED their amazing seasoned, yellow rice. What I didn't love was their Arnold Palmer. The lemonade tasted terrible and ruined the drink; also the black beans weren't up to par. But these two things are minor and I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Cielito Lindo is a cozy little Mexican spot near Huntersville with some seriously good food. The staff is super friendly and made us feel right at home the moment we walked in. Service was quick and everyone was really attentive. The food was awesome. There are plenty of vegetarian options, and everything we tried was full of flavor. The chips came out warm and fresh, and the hot salsa actually had a real kick to it. It's a small place, but the vibe is welcoming and laid back. The only downside was the bathroom. There's just one, and it really needs a deep clean. The floor was in rough shape and definitely took away from an otherwise great experience. Still, I'd come back for sure. Great people, great food, and an easy spot to enjoy a good meal. Just hoping they get the bathroom cleaned up soon. read more

Food was FIRE!!! I had the chimichanga dinner and subbed the meat with mushrooms and everything was 110/10. The salsa is nice and spicy, but they have a regular version for those that can't handle the spice. The hibiscus aguas frescas was so delicious and the service was amazing (much love to you Jacky!)! Everyone is super friendly and so helpful with questions. If you are having a group of more than 4 I would recommend calling in as the space is a bit tight. But overall super beautiful restaurant, customer restrooms very clean, and the food is very fairly priced. I will ABSOLUTELY be coming back often. So so great! read more

I took the first stall and discovered too late there was no toilet paper (even though they were the 2 large roll dispensers). One of my biggest all time pet peeves for sure.
