Cici's has great coupons out. You can get a large Cheese Pizza for $4.99 or they have 2 Buffet coupons for $4.99. I was craving pizza so I headed to Cici's for a cheap meal. I really enjoyed my Pepperoni Pizza, the crust was even sweet..Loved the Cinnamon Rolls, they just came put of the oven! Also, I loved their Apple dessert Pizza with warm Cinnamon Apple Sweet crumb toppings with icing on top. It tasted as good as it sounded. They have a really good 90's playlist..For example, Rick Ashley, Never Gonna Give you up and Bon Jovi s, Shes a Little Runaway Customer service was exceptional, every time I asked for something the young man, said of course. My wife and I had finished a late afternoon medical appointment and then needed to do a bit of grocery shopping at a one of our favorite grocery stores in Camp Bowie. We were weighing out whether to shop first, then have dinner after putting all the groceries away or stop somewhere for an early dinner. The early dinner idea won out. We had lots of choices to choose from. We decided we wanted something fairly quick. As we were driving down Camp Bowie we remembered the Cicis that we used to eat at a lot when we used to work in the area. Cicis was our choice for tonight's quick dinner. As mentioned we hadn't dined at this location in ages so we didn't know what to expect especially early in the dinner hour. Was the buffet going to be stocked or was it going to be sparsely stocked? When we walked in we were greeted warmly with a "Welcome to Cicis, how can we serve you today?" We purchased two buffets and two drinks and received a very nice senior discount, without asking for it. That was a pleasant surprise. We were also reminded if there was a pizza not on the buffet, just ask and they'll to make it for us And bring some slices out to our table. The buffet was stocked with all our favorites and the salad bar was nicely stocked and clean which is so important on a buffet. The pizza and salad hit the mark perfectly to get us ready for the rigors of grocery shopping. (That's a joke folks!) As we were leaving, we were greeted with sincere think you for coming in and dining with them. This is the most disgusting restaurant I've ever eaten at. Walked in to at least 10 tables with dirty dishes sitting on them, even more that needed wiped down. I tried to sit at 3 tables before I found one halfway decent/clean looking. Watched at least two people eat food behind the line. (Sorry three, another has eaten since I started this review) The young man at the register had his AirPod in. Breadsticks undercooked and doughy. The floors are atrocious and people are reusing plates at the buffet. GROSS. *update* After speaking with corporate, the was not offered a refund, but a measly coupon for a free meal later on.... My other half missed his first day at his new job due to FOOD POISONING from this location. I am not being snobby. This is a f'real one-star CiCi's. Consider: *There is no pizza buffet island. This means that there are fewer pizzas in circulation/the feed trough *Each visit to grab another slice, ALL of the pizza were of the pepperoni/ham and Alfredo sauce variety. No semblance of a vegetable anywhere. And yes, I am using the term "vegetable" loosely. My "CiCi's Vegetable Topping" definition includes "taco" and "macaroni and cheese." *I ordered a pizza. And waited. And waited. By the time I left, it had never came. This has never happened before in my two decades of scarfing CiCi's all around the Metroplex. Wow. Just...wow. Now where was I supposed to go to satiate my Mac 'n cheese pizza craving?! That was the whole reason why I came, dammit. It is for this crime that this location has plummeted all the way down to one-star. Not being a big fan of this well established family friendly chain in some ways or another you gotta like something about CiCi's. For me its getting a pizza made just the way you want, any size and at no extra cost when dining in at the buffet. I've been to a few of these chains and this one I prefer. Buffet line is full, fresh and hot. Not to mention lil Ms. Maria (Whom I named Erica...Lol) the manager who has the sweetest personality along with a golden seal of hospitality. They crank out pizza after pizza after pizza, insuring your options are fresh. They also have no issue with making special pizzas to our request, so they get double points for that! The food was okay, but the food was not why I gave it a one star. I sat near the front and was observing the people walking in. I noticed someone complain about their change and I thought the manager had just made a mistake. 10 minutes later someone else complained about their change. After that I checked my change and noticed I was also missing 10 bucks. I went up and asked for the rest of my change and he didnt even question me. First off let me start off that i used to love going to cicis and eating the good food and it was always a pleasant experience. That being said, this particular cicis was just not up to par at all. There were multiple tables with loads of trash on them with noone insight working to keep their place of buiness clean. There was tons of trash and food on the floor. In the back corner there was 5 employees including the manager laughing it up and ignoring the deplorable conditions of THEIR restaurant. The pizza was less than desirable. My mother n law ordered a pizza and she finally got it when we were all just about done eating. Upon leaving the manager did say "bye thank you" without making eye contact or in a very friendly manner.
