Many places I contacted were either out of helium or charging extremely inflated prices. With only two days left before the party and showing up without the Peppa Pig balloons not being an option, I turned to Google and found GoParty Decoration. I gave them a call, received a quote, and scheduled a time to stop by. On my lunch break the day before the party, I planned to drop off the balloons and pick them up the next day. To my surprise, the team at GoParty created a stunning balloon arrangement for me right on the spot! They were incredibly friendly, professional, and accommodating, with a fantastic attention to detail. They matched the ribbon and balloon I bought perfectly with the balloons I brought. It's clear they take pride in their work, and it shows. The store is beautiful, and the customer service is absolutely top-tier. Finally got a chance to check out this event space! The lovely folks at Lupus Piedmont hosted their…read moreannual Mardi Gras Gala here and it's such a cool event space. From the outside, I would have never expected such potential. The large building is planted very near the tracks off of Tryon & Dalton - just a few minutes from Uptown. Now, I'm sure the space varies per event, but the folks at Lupus decorated it beautifully. Tons of tables, a large bar to the right, dance floor near the stage and plenty of walking around room. Plus, there are two old train cars outside the side doors that are perfect for additional entertainment options - the event last night had a fortune teller and a bones reader in these cars. Per Extravaganza Depot's website, it looks like they are full service event planning and execution company. Capacity wise, the site reads 350 seated and 600 standing and there are adequate restroom facilities and probably 200 parking spaces (total guess here). There aren't too many well put together venues in Charlotte that host these types of numbers, but Extravaganza Depot does offer a great option!

It's a very cool open space with a back deck that has a GREAT view of the Charlotte Skyline and 2 train cabooses that can be used. Not only do you get a GREAT venue for your party, you get access to the thousands of their props for your party. Thank you Party Reflections!…read more Over the weekend I hosted my Bridal Shower. The party was a total success!!! I invited 12 guest. I worked with Lindsay Martin before she left the company. I measured all the rooms on the first level of my house. During my appointment I brought a mood board, along with a guest count of 30ppl. Lindsay was Soooooooo helpful!!! Of course I wanted a large number of people for a luncheon: After reviewing my measurements, Lindsay informed me that I wouldn't have enough room to set the tables like I wanted. So we played with a few options (Tables, seating etc) I decided to invite only 12 people...which worked perfectly. Next step was linens, I LOVED The pink and white Chevron. Which they custom ordered to fit the tables. I also ordered 5Satin Pink Table Clothes and 12 White padded chairs. Delivery: I was informed they would deliver between 8am-5pm On Thursday. Three Gentlemen arrived at 10am to deliver everything. They were very professional. I cleared both rooms to make things easier....They offered to set the tables up. Brought the linens inside on hangers in a clear garment bag. I was so exited to set everything up!! All the lines were in Perfect condition! Of course I steamed the wrinkles out.
