Expect the unexpected? I didn't expect anything. This was the most unexpected thing to learn about in Napoli. A Filipino restaurant in Italy?! That made me excited cuz I had cravings! It had been an exceedingly long while since I'd eaten this ethnic food! On my first visit, I served my self. There was a buffet for €10. Not bad for no service. The food was satisfying. I asked them about a peanut butter dish. They informed me to request it a couple days ahead. Missed opportunity but I still went back with a guest. The second visit was more pleasant cuz everything was made fresh. The wait was longer, but worth it. My guest had the chance to try this kind of food. This restaurant is now on a list of potential event venues. They gained a customer, and possibly more, for an international cuisine meet up. Overall the dining experience was very accommodating. The questions my guest asked were all addressed. Their food is tasty and satisfying. Larger parties can reserve their upstairs section which has karaoke. They serve beer. Next time, I'd try to make it earlier in the day for their buffet. read more

A hidden jewel! Tucked away near the cruise ships. We navigated our way from our hotel to this lively vibrant Filipino restaurant. Karaoke was in full swing. My wife and I felt we were transported to Manila! The food was spot on! I loved everything we ordered. Lumpia Shanghai was the bomb. Adobo chicken was tender and delicious. Our favorite was the Pinakbet. A true comfort food. Flavorful and so satisfying. If you want a break from pasta and pizza , search out this wonderful establishment. Best Filipino food in Italy run by a husband & wife team! Small hole in the wall downstairs but has a large dining room upstairs. As authentic as if you were in Manilla! After being in italy for 3 weeks, you begin to crave anything but pizza, paninis, & pasta. We are from Hawaii where the culture is so diverse & Filipino food is one of our "comfort" foods. This is the only Filipino restaurant in Naples & it was exactly what we needed. Not only is it a very affordable buffet, but the food & service was excellent. Contrary to the usual buffets where you walk up & help yourself, at Cicciarap, they don't cook the food until you order it. With that said, everything was deliciously fresh. We got fried rice, sizzling pancit, lechon, fried chicken, pork adobo, tocino, & a few other things. They also include 1 drink/per peson with the buffet. Take out options are also available, but the buffet price is too good to pass up. My husband loves Filipino food & I don't care for it, however we both left happy with full bellies! In addition, the owner was extremely nice & took great care of us. We almost felt as if we were home again! We wanted to go back before we left, but being that we were on vacation, we like to try new places everyday. If we ever come back to Naples, we will be back for more! read more
