The service is also great and efficient. Located adjacent to the Yoghurt Shop, Sun Mi's has a range of hot food and sushi choices you can pick and choose from in the displays, or order main meals from the menu on the wall. I always get the Bulgogi from the menu, with a side of green vegetable pancakes from the hot food counter. These savoury pancakes are vegetarian, tasty, and go well as a side. There are also delicious chicken wings - my boyfriend's favourite choice from the hot food counter. The Bulgogi just comes with steamed rice, so simple yet so yummy! A range of sushi is also available but I have never tried any so I can't comment on the taste, as I come for the hot food! The seating is a bit of a hassle for me though. You sit at the counter, on bar stools. There are only about 8 stools so you can imagine what it's like over lunch time. Well, takeaway is available, and I see a lot of people just stopping by for sushi or vegie pancakes. Also, the prices are very affordable considering Korean food is sometimes a bit on the higher pricing end. Another plus!

Mings Steamboat is great…read more You really need to go to Ming's in a group, and i'll tell you why. The first time I whent to Ming's steamboat was shortly after it had opened. At that time I had no idea what a steamboat was. I had merely stumbled in to get a quick bite to eat before a life drawing class situated down the road. I ordered the wanton soup which was about $12. I thought was a little bit expensive, but probably ok. After a while the waiter returned with the biggest bowl of wanton soup I had ever seen, it was big enough for more than two people, and I am not exaggerating because it came with a ladle in it. As I decadently started consuming the wantons, ladel in hand, I caught a glimpse out the corner of my eye the table next to me and then gazing around the room I saw that I was the only person in the room eating alone and that everyone else was up to something much more interesting. STEAMBOAT Now that I am a self proclaimed steam boat expert (having been there three of four times) I will tell you how it works. Effectively, the idea behind steamboat is that you cook your own food at the table in a big vat (the hotpot) of bubbling oily stock. Each table is equipt with a small burner stove upon which the hotpot sits. You order various raw ingredients such as meats (i reccomend upsizing to the special beef, it is more expensive but much fresher), vegetables, seafood and seafood balls, mushrooms fungi and a couple of even more interesting items and chuck them in the pot of stock until they cook. There is also a variety of stocks to choose from, flavoured not only with the base meat (or vegetable for that matter) but also with various herbs and spices. I prefer the hot chili variety but this is not always everyone's favourite (remember, this is no fun by your self). Luckily, it is also an option to get a divider put in the pot to allow for two different types of stock to be going at once. There is a small additional charge for this feature, but better than having to order two pots of stock. I quite like the variety and will often do this even when everyone present is into chili. The best part of steamboat is that once the food is cooked you get to fish it out with a little net, which is super fun, and, depending on who you are dining with, can potentially turn into a civil war over who gets the last fishball.

The soy ginger ribs were a bit too thick and sweet and the roast duck might've been 70% bones, but they were still good nonetheless. Don't miss the green beans with XO sauce, which was a clear standout.

The pork dumplings had a weird gluey surface that disturbed me somewhat but aside from that the food was fantastic. Even when we asked to take some home the food was put into takeaway containers for us using silver service. The restaurant is spacious and very well conditioned (imperative in summer when eating spicy food) and there are sparkly chandeliers and one wall of tables are screened into individual booths. Saying that I would consider it good. If you are looking for a flavor kick, this might be it. Experience - Nice simple coffee shop setting. Decent price. Friendly and helpful staffs. There were a few times I thought I saw the staffs chatting with their customers at the table. Reminds me of the old coffee shops I go to. I've reviewed a few of these little gems, well, here's another one. Like most of the other decent places around the Spaceland Snackbar isn't in the shopping centre, but is a short walk away. Something which I find quite rare these days is finding a snack bar that looks like a snack bar. Well Spaceland doesn't disappoint in that area, and looks very much like you would expect a snack bar to look. As well as that you have the awesome "Spaceland" name which it shares with other shops in the complex. All of this is irrelevant is the food is poor though. Thankfully Spaceland scores top marks here too. If you want a roll well that's very well and good, but what TYPE or roll are you looking for? My favourite type of roll is the lepinya. It's a nice and fluffy little roll that doesn't sit in your stomach like a dead weight. After you choose the roll you have a large selection of things to put on it. There's more of a selection here than you see in most snack bars. If you're shopping at Parabanks I suggest taking that small walk and having a nice healthy roll.
