My daughter and I really enjoyed our meal at Ciao Pasta. The food is fresh and pasta tasted amazing. Owners were friendly and place is clean and airy.

You don't have to fly to Italy to get some of the best pasta in the world. Thank you, Ciao Pasta! This is a casual, fast pasta concept - made to order. Fresh made pasta & pastries. Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner Come for espresso and pastries as early as 8:30am or stop in for a pasta or panini for lunch or dinner. You can order at the kiosk at the counter (two available). When choosing a pasta dish, 1) select one of their sauce options (all are perfect as-is) 2) choose a pasta style 3) you can add extras but simple is best. We got the Toscana with Casarecce pasta and the Cacio & Pepe with shrimp added; both were delicious, "back in Italy" delicious. The sauce was perfect, portion was large, and the pasta was noticeably fresh. The ambiance is casual but the food is top-tier quality. The price is unbelievable for fresh made pasta. The kiosk was easy enough to order from and service time is fast but during peak lunch and dinner times expect longer times because they make everything per order. They opened in September and have grown quickly. Owned by a true Italian family that focus on quality. When you visit, you'll notice some Italian products on a high shelf in the kitchen, the items can be purchased. We got a pistachio Panettone for New Year's Day (an Italian tradition). Great food. Great coffee. Great people. We encountered some folks from Gaithersburg that found it online and stopped in. They said they would make a special trip back just to get more pasta. Give it a try and if you've been to Italy, tell me this doesn't rival your previous "best pasta" experience (minus the situational bias of actually being in Italy)

The owner was so nice and helpful will be going back. They don't have a kids menu but I love leftovers! Ambiance was chilled and laid back.

Great food! Homemade pasta is very good as well as the sauces. Meatballs were excellent. Highly recommend. Also can bring own wine/beer. Order at counter, as it is quick style- no table service, a few outside tables.

I recently visited Ciao Pasta and found the atmosphere to be quite pleasant. The decor was inviting, creating a cozy vibe that I appreciated. However, my experience with the staff could have been better. While a woman was diligently cleaning tables, I noticed she moved past customers without acknowledging them--no smiles or greetings, which felt a bit off-putting. Additionally, when I asked one of the male staff members about a menu item, his response was surprisingly dismissive: "You have a phone; let's use it to Google it." This lack of engagement made me feel unwelcome. On top of that, they were sold out of many menu items, which was disappointing. Not to say that you do everything on kiosk. The food was a bit salty, wasn't bad tho, the service left much to be desired. I hope they can improve their customer interaction in the future. Delicious. Fresh. Authentic. The owners are super friendly and you can tell they have a passion for making fresh authentic casual Italian food. Can't wait to come back and try all the food.

We stopped while traveling home from DC. We were greeted by the owner, food is ordered from a kiosk type iPad set-up. The pasta is made fresh daily, the owner is from Italy and produces the most delicious authentic dishes and homemade tiramisu. Our pasta dishes were made fresh to order. Good size portions. My son said it was the best Alfredo he has ever had. This is a casual eatery with amazing food. Highly recommend

I have to talk about the W.A.P. panini because WOW. It's basic in the best way, but somehow one of the most delicious sandwiches I've ever eaten. I don't know if it's the quality of the ingredients or the way everything comes together, but it just hits. Perfectly fresh and perfectly balanced. Bottom line: do not pass this place up. Totally worth going out of your way for. I'll be back again and again.

Oil, and no sauce at all.

Big portions and friendly owners. Took time to explain the menu. Food flavor was nice. Certain items are on certain days.

Pros: the pizza was good Cons: There was a cockroach in the bathroom The service is subpar at best I'm on the fence. The pizza was good but it could use a cleaning and possibly better service.

We started with sharing the crab bisque and having the bacon ranch cheddar fries, which were both delicious and very well presented. I can say the only crab bisque I've tried better than this is the one I make myself. However, this was deliciously creamy, had the right flavor, just a hint of spice and loaded with lump crab meat. The fries arrived in abundance, overloading the platter. They were served upon which was more than we were expecting. They were nice and hot served up with homemade creamy ranch dressing, topped with freshly chopped bacon and shredded cheese. This is a highly recommended appetizer to start your meal. To finish off the meal, we had the medium size pizza, which was actually large enough to feed another two people with us and we ended up taking half of it home, but the dough was out of this world delicious the toppings were perfectly cooked and presented on top of the pie Flavor was spot on and the server delivered an extra bottle of homemade ranch dressing on the side for us to add to the pizza if we chose to do so. We are planning on coming back tomorrow to do more Geocaching , and will definitely be stopping here to try some of their salads too. The menu is expansive and the flavors outstanding. Tony's level of quality experience and expertise in creating this menu in the 1980s is still followed to this day and highly recommended for anybody that's in the area that wants a delicious authentic Italian meal. Well done!
