I absolutely love Chuy's! The food never disappoints. The nachos and burritos are awesome, but that creamy jalapeño sauce/dip is amazing! I've stopped by literally to just get chips and salsa and the creamy jalapeño sauce. Anyway, my father is visiting so I took him to Chuy's last night and we had a great time. My dad is elderly and a bit on the grouchy side, but our server, Brianna was really sweet and patient with him. I was so grateful that he didn't scare her off. We both got burritos that were delicious and enormous. My dad loved the food and the kitschy decor. It's such a fun place to eat!

Always yum! Tried a new drink this time - wild berry Mexican mule - it was really good! Also had the green chile enchilada and chile relleno combo. It was so good as usual, I must have been so hungry because that's one of the only times I have not asked for a to go box!

I love this Tex-Mex restaurant! It's pretty close to work so I've been a few times for lunch. The service is consistently quick and the food is tasty. I normally order the bean and cheese burrito off the kids menu with boom boom sauce. It's always so good! The normal size burritos are pretty big and a bit heavy for me for lunch. They are great for dinner though! The decor is unique with one room having different car rims on the ceiling and another with tons of pictures of dogs! Can't wait for my next visit!

Food was very good for a chain restaurant. We had the Veggie Enchiladas, the Roasted Chicken Enchiladas and a side of queso dip. The enchiladas came with refried beans and Mexican rice. We substituted the sauce on the roasted chicken enchiladas with the Tex Mex Sauce. The sauce was good but a little too spicy for me. The creamy green chile sauce was used on the remaining dishes and everyone loved it. Service was great.

I lived here for 3 years and just recently tried this place. If you're looking for tasty Mexican food, this is a great place. The restaurant is very decorated the servers were very kind. Something to note is that my chicken enchiladas was a little dry. Other then that, top 3 restaurants in parkside in my opinion

The food. The management. The kitchen staff. Servers seem polite. Very disappointed in overall experience. I like the bar area and the booths I think there is a Mexican restaurant right there in Parkside Commons look along the storefronts. There are some good restaurants there in Parksides. But I actually find Mi Cancun best in town. Over near Grace Dr with several diverse dining experiences.

We had an early Friday night dinner at the bar. Bartender Gal was working hard as she was serving all over the place, but still managed to attend to us nicely. Drink choices are limited here as they are at other Chuy's unless you want a margarita LOL. Sad that all of the Chuy's have streamlined the menu since covid. I miss the rellenos! Chips are still as good as ever. Love how thin they are, and what's not to love about the two dips for them? The pico and the jalapeno ranch are both tasty. Lots of salt going on! I had the chicka chicka boom boom enchiladas with beans and rice. Husband had the Steak Burrito. All good.

I love Chuy's so much. I discovered it several years ago when my job would have lunch catered from here. The jalapeno ranch literally changed my life. I always order the ground beef soft tacos; they are delicious and I love how fluffy the tortillas are. Last night I sat in the "dog room" for the first time. The walls are covered with framed photos of dogs. If you bring in a framed dog photo you receive a free appetizer!

Chuy's is located in Parkside with multiple other businesses. We were in the area on a Friday evening & came here since other restaurants had long waits. We were seated right away here. The restaurant had bright decor and tables and booths to dine in. Our server was very attentive and helpful. We were brought out chips, salsa and ranch. The chips were just ok. They did not have much flavor and were bland. The salsa was good. I ordered the panchos with ground beef. They were filling and flavorful. I would def get them again. I also got an order of queso. It wasn't bad. Overall we had a good experience here.

I think this one has better quality than the ones in the Houston area. Atmosphere is nice and service is outstanding. Ask for Kevin!

We were seated without a reservation on a busy Saturday night, and the hostess was kind and really intentional about making sure we were comfortable. The food was delicious and came out quickly. My one piece of feedback is to skip the basic margaritas and choose your own tequila. Our server didn't seem very familiar with the drink menu--when I asked for a spicy margarita, I was brought "The OG," which wasn't spicy and had something in it that just didn't work for me. I switched to a margarita with Casamigos mezcal and it was amazing. Overall, a solid spot in Fenton for good food, especially if you're with a group. Bonus points for letting us linger a bit longer to wait out a rainstorm with another round.

(I like that there is an outdoor dining space that gives you a view of Fenton's green space and movie theatre crowd.) In spite of all this, I think I may have ordered the wrong items perhaps. This was my first visit and I did not research the most popular items. As a consequence, my chicken fajitas were just average compared to other places I've dined and my daughter's crunchy chicken tacos were ok. I would visit again but would definitely try a different entree.

I usually rotate between the tacos, enchiladas, and molcajetes, and while the tacos themselves are just okay, the overall experience is solid. The fresh chips are easily some of the best I've had at a Mexican restaurant (warm and crisp). Add queso to those chips and it really seals the deal. They more than make up for the tacos being a bit underwhelming and are honestly reason enough to come back. This is a great neighborhood spot if you're looking for authentic flavors, generous portions, and excellent chips and dips (biggest downside is no liquor aka no margaritas). Not every dish is a knockout, but the highlights keep it comfortably in 4-star territory.

I was really one mayonnaise filled torta away from missing out on my favorite Mexican restaurant of Cary. The food is some of the freshest and most authentic in the area, and is consistently spot on. Forget heavy burritos or overly sauced enchiladas, this place is the real deal. When you come to Esmeralda Grill, you should really focus on the meat heavy dishes, whether it be via land or sea. There are so many different options to choose from, from both categories. When thinking seafood, expect the full fish. If you find yourself with the fresh grilled tilapia, you will receive a delicious whole fish that tastes as if it was caught that morning. It is such a fantastic option. I also appreciate the camarones a la diabla, or Diablo shrimp. The shrimp are plump and juicy, the spice of the dish is excites your taste buds and is a great dish. My favorite entrees are the land meat dishes though. El Trio Perfecto is my go-to order, it is grilled steak, chicken and pork all on one plate with rice, beans, salad, and tortillas. The Mexican spice rub on the meats is absolutely mouth watering, the flavors are so bold and tasty. The meats are all cooked to perfection and the portions are gigantic. You can make different tacos with the various meats, it is seriously one of my favorite Mexican dishes. I would highly recommend this! Additionally, Esmeralda Grill has so many other wonderful dishes for different flavor profiles. My grandparents are pretty particular about empanadas, but simply cannot get enough of Esmeralda's version. They also make some killer tacos, and some very affordable ones if you were to come on Tuesday! The moral of the story? Don't base your opinion of a restaurant after a single visit. You don't come across a fantastic hole in the wall every day, Esmeralda Grill is one that every Mexican food lover should know!

The décor is exactly what you'd expect: bold colors, festive patterns, enough sombreros on the walls to outfit a small parade, and at least one plastic cactus that looks mildly judgmental. Servers weave through the chaos like Olympic athletes, mariachi music battles the sound of sizzling fajitas, and somehow your food always arrives piping hot even though the entire place looks one guacamole shortage away from full meltdown. The menu is less a menu and more a novella--pages upon pages of every dish you've ever heard of and at least twelve you definitely haven't. It's a laminated labyrinth where every combo comes with three other combos, and the options multiply the longer you stare at them. By the time you reach page six, you're questioning your own identity and whether you even remember what you wanted in the first place. It's overwhelming, and just a little suspicious--because no kitchen should be able to make that many things unless they've unlocked some sort of culinary time dilation. The server sort of has your attention when it's time to order entrées--they hover just long enough for you to say your piece before disappearing back into the restaurant's gravitational swirl. But once the food is delivered, they become nearly impossible to spot, like they've slipped into a parallel dimension where diners can't see them. Trying to wave them down for anything--napkins, a refill, a moment of acknowledgment--turns into a full-scale quest. The food is classic, predictable Mexican-restaurant fare--perfectly fine, nothing mind-blowing, the kind of dishes that taste exactly how you expect because they've been made the same way since forever. Not bad, not great, just reliably 'yep, that's food. Cheers!
