Very good buffet and worth the price. Only knock would be the greasy oil floating in the buffet pans.

We decided to stop into Chutney's on a whim, based on some good reviews we had read. Our family really enjoys Indian food, so we were looking forward to trying a new restaurant. It's currently a buffet, with al a carte coming in the next few weeks. We enjoyed the buffet, as it allowed us to try many different dishes. Rice and naan were brought to the table and they were very generous! Simply the best naan I have ever eaten. It was pillowy soft, with a perfectly crisp bottom, and the perfect touch of garlic. The rice was so flavorful that it could be eaten on its own, The owner is delightful. He was our server, and he was extremely friendly and attentive. When we complimented the rice, he explained the spice mix that made it so good, and then brought out some of the whole spices for us to see and taste. Our party of five of all ages all enjoyed our meal, and left planning to return and to recommend it to everyone.

Very good! Plenty vegetarian options in the buffet, and everything tastes fresh and the naan is delicious

The meat is both crispy and juicy. The complimentary pita is served warm and is pillowy soft. Some of my favorite hidden gems on this menu are on the appetizer list. Don't skip over the chefs appetizer with creamy cheese, olives, herbs and ground walnuts! I also love the light but flavorful white bean soup with tomato broth and generous chunks of chicken.

They maintain an impressively enormous menu with just about every style of kabob on the planet! They also serve lamb shanks, gyros, and falafel among other options. The lamb is extraordinarily tender and pretty tasty, although the flavor isn't nearly as good as the best I've eaten in the Middle East. But I have unfairly high standards as a world traveler. The beef dishes are very good too, but again, not the best I've had. The service is fantastic with welcoming employees who make you feel right at home. House of Kabob is a worthy stop if you love Persian cuisine.

Everything is meant to be share style on the menu, and so we opted to do a few starting dips with pita bread as well as some salads and two main dishes. I think this is one of the best places you can go for good appetizers. I felt that the meat was good, but not as stand out as the hummus and the asparagus salad. I would love to come back for the pita bread alone. The service was exceptional, with an attentive and friendly staff.

I can get the same meal but better up the street on Gallatin with more decor, great staff, and more reasonable prices. It was pretty slow even with only a few tables taken on a week night. The explanation of the menu items wasn't clear even after asking (I don't think the staff member was fully knowledgeable on the ingredients) so we just picked what sounded okay and went with it.

Their selection is really nice from lamb/beef or chicken gyro to eggplant stew. They have platters and salads and french fries too. Many people order takeout but eating is pleasant with the Greek decor. Everything is made to order as you watch. Please visit this small family owned restaurant. Their only drawback is every thing is served on disposable dishes. But I give them a break on that cuz it's a small operation with no time for washing dishes. Oh, they are closed Sunday-Tuesday.

I know my way around Greek and Persian restaurants and was excited to try out the foods. We ordered Classic Gyros, fries, Greek salad, Eggplant Stew (Khoresh Bademjan), and Chicken Kabob (Kabob Koobideh Morgh) at the counter. The man behind the counter was curt with customers. He had a regular that he told to sit down when the man came inside for his to go order. I say regular because when his to go order was ready they chatted for a few minutes about personal business. The restaurant was not full when we arrived. There were 5 customers waiting for food when we placed our to go order. 45 minutes later when we left there were 4 customers waiting for food. I noticed an employee walk to the restrooms with a phone in hand. Phones aren't sterile and coming back from the restroom the employee was on the phone. I couldn't see from my vantage point whether employees were wearing gloves. The man who took orders handled credit cards and money and then touched drink cups by the rim. I am sure this happens all the time. I don't see employees with phones and the person taking orders and handling money most of the time so when I see hands touching money or cards and then the drink cup rims my brain says to ask for a clean cup. We did not order drinks to go. Now to the food. Gyros and fries were ok. The pitas weren't toasted so the tzatziki sauce made the pitas squishy. I could not taste the gyro meat as the portion was small. The Greek Salad and dressing was average. Eggplant stew with rice and salad was good and had more cinnamon than I am accustomed to. The chicken kabob came with basmati rice and salad and it was good. This restaurant is between Huntsville and Ardmore. They serve a variety of foods and have a loyal following. We will stop by again to try out other foods. It could have been an off day. For the money the portion sizes are small. If there were more meat in the gyros and more salad in the to go box I would have considered another star.
