Brand new (2023) Indian Fusion restaurant is a hit. They will soon have a full menu and full service, but tonight, we stopped in for the first time, and there was a pretty good buffet waiting for us. We enjoyed Tandoor chicken, butter chicken, basmati rice, okra, spinach and potatoes, lamb, and a lot of other things. The naan is made on site and fresh, some of the best you'll have. The owner, Ayaz, and his family have done a wonderful job in converting the old Cici's storefront into a soon-to-be Indian favorite! There's a place in the back with more conversational seating suitable for business lunch meetings. Price is about what you would expect for standard Indian fare. About $15 per person will get you anything you want. I've not seen the whole menu yet, but we did get to look at it briefly, and the buffet was just the tip of the iceberg tonight. Stopped in after 3pm on a Wednesday. Not exactly the optimum time for a lunch buffet. It's Hubby's birthday and he isn't a big fan of Indian/Mediterranean food but he was up for the experience. Staff was awesome and friendly, walked us through the buffet and explained each dish. The aromas were heavenly...each dish was cooked perfectly and despite the fact that it was not lunch time, they were still bringing out fresh food. Owner/manager was very personable as well and made sure we were pleased with our meal. Food was delicious. Hubby agreed! We will definitely be back!! read more

I had very fine take-out from the many selections on the buffet. Really good. Nicely spiced, varied entrees. The service is impeccable with tables as well as a large seated area for meetings, etc. You will feel very comfortable in the restaurant and have fine food with great service. Luke warm, mediocre at best. Little non vegetarian dry choices, over cooked mushy. Gentleman was nice but food was terrible.

Maybe I need to give this place another try, but I was not impressed. There were a few redeeming points that saved my rating from a mere 2*s. I shall explain. The entire family ate there for lunch today. My adult son and I were not impressed at all, but my wife said she really liked the place. A beautiful airy dining area and an attentive staff were the keys to raising this to 4*s. Mind you, we had the buffet. Their dinner menu is very different. I was confused by how they could be an "Indian Fusion" restaurant until I read that their normal menu was Indian, Pakistani and Middle Eastern. Oh. I see. The buffet did not reflect that. First the good, then the "eh" and finally the bad. Garlic Naan was exceptional. Vegetarian dishes, according to my wife were tasty and well seasoned. In fact, I would say all the dishes had an appropriate amount of heat. The white rice with anise seeds was very good, fluffy and moist. We all enjoyed the traditional salad bar. I really liked the tandoori chicken pieces - moist and flavorful Disagreement exists between my wife and I on the vegetable dishes. She liked them and I did not. To me, the vegetables had the appearance and texture of being canned, but she did not think so. They were mushy at best as I overrule her assessment. They did not have hot tea. However a gentleman in the back overheard me asking for it and offered fresh tea. I took it. It was the most delicious chai tea I've had except it had this little piece of what looked like plastic wrap floating in it. Both my son and I agreed that the other chicken dishes were simply not good. The chicken was dry and any marinade or sauce was too thin and did not flavor anything except the outer parts of the meat. There was only one beef dish and it was meatballs. The array of options was limited compared to other buffet experiences in town. No soups or desserts were available. So there you have it. If my wife asks to go there again, we will go. However, I am more interested in the dinner menu options and may update my review. I will not go back for the buffet on my own. There are too many other Indian restaurants in town, close to my home that are better. read more

Tried the lunch buffet on the unequivocal recommendation of trusted friends and they did not steer me wrong! A wide variety of well-prepared and nicely seasoned offerings for a reasonable price ($14.95, I think, for the all-you-can-eat lunch buffet). The owner/chef made it a point to come 'round to all the tables (it was moderately busy) to introduce himself and to ensure we were enjoying our meal. He is extremely nice, committed to providing high quality meals with excellent ingredients in a cool environment. All of the staff with whom we interacted were very polite, cheerful and helpful. Bonus: Complimentary naan (garlic or regular) for our lunch buffet. Perused the menu and it looks great ... many choices among a variety of Indian/Pakistani/Asian/South Asian cuisine. The buffet was a pleasant surprise. Though they have the complex spicing of South Asia, they make sure the meat and vegetables themselves come through. My favorite was the okra stew (who would have guessed?). The buffet had a good variety, and a chance to try things you otherwise might not. Our experience at Chutneys was great! We went for the lunch Buffett and everything tasted great, full of flavor and the naan was made fresh to order in the traditional style with the clay tandoori oven. I was introduced to Indian food a few years ago and I just love the flavors. I have tried all of the local Indian restaurants and this one is now my favorite. They have outstanding flavors and the best Naan in town. They also have the best Tandoori chicken in town. Their spice levels are just right for Americans who can't handle super hot food. Great service. We walked in and they were serving buffet only. So we were able to try different things that will be in the menu. It was Chinese and Indian today and tomorrow will be Mexican. It was good but the Indian was mild so be aware that this is fusion cuisine, so expect that. read more

We tried this restaurant, and we liked the decor. The food on the buffet was sparse, so we asked for them to make more. They did; however, it was not cooked fully and had to be returned. The flavor of the food was mediocre at best. The spice and heat of the food could have been better. The service was nice, and they offered us a discount for the issues we had.
