Service and quality of food were great, better than most places we've tried. Our server stayed on top of things, even as the lunch rush started. The menu has several unique offerings, and lots of options depending on how much you want to eat. (One mistake - we both ordered a cup of tortilla soup, and were surprised at how much we got with that! Some rice, pico, sliced avocado, tortilla strips, it would have made a complete light lunch by itself. So we were full by the time the main plates arrived). I got the Super Tucan combination plate (taco/enchilada/flauta, w/beans and rice), and the Hop Queen got the Chimichanga. Both were very generous portions of tasty, fresh food, nothing tasted like it had been sitting. With the tortilla soup, this pretty much would have fed us the rest of the day. Plenty of seating, also tables outside. Downtown has lots of parking on the street. Highly recommended!

The salsa was a mild spice. Enjoyable. I ordered the shrimp tacos. Comes with 2 street tacos and double the tortillas on each. Purple cabbage, cilantro, tender shrimp. I liked the sauce they had on the side. Also had black beans and rice. The whole meal was pretty filling. Service was pretty fast. The drink came quick. The meal itself was quick. The chips and salsa came like seconds when I sat down. They also have outside seating as well. Although it was warming up, I wanted to be inside. There's a small free parking lot kitty corner to the restaurant. Also free street parking too. Everything was great. And would love to come here again next time I visit Marble Falls.

I will say they are very clean and the staff is very friendly/attentive. The chips and salsa come out pretty quick. The chips are just okay; taste more store bought than anything else. I am used to chips that are a little saltier. I know I can add salt, but it isn't the same as putting salt right after they come out the the fryer. The salsa is really just a red sauce. It is a bit spicy but not like having a good salsa. Checking the photos, the "Flag Plate" seemed to be a good idea. It's three different enchiladas with rice and beans. And when they say "hot plate" you really need to heed that warning. I don't think my plate ever cooled to a point where I could touch it with my bare hand. But this I did appreciate. Most places, the plate goes cold so quick and the food does as well. For the Flag Plate, one enchilada is cheese, another is a sour cream chicken and the third is "Beef Spanish" whatever that means. I tried the beef and chicken and really wasn't impressed so I just ate the cheese. But speaking of cheese, there certainly is no shortage of that for the entire dish. I'm not not used to enchiladas with the amount of the cheese that goes into theirs. When I have had chicken enchiladas, all my life it has been shredded chicken in a red sauce. This was chunky chicken and some sour cream sauce and again, the heaps of cheese. I was disappointed to find out when I arrived that they are "cash only" and did not see that before. I see now some people did comment on that, but it very rare to encounter a place that is only cash. They do have an ATM inside, but of course, you have to pay a service charge for using the ATM. All in all, it was almost $30 for one person with no drinks (I only had water). For that price and being forced to pay using an ATM I would not come back here. Even had I known the cash only policy up front, I prefer to pay with a card. Less hassle than carrying cash and if you have a card that awards miles or rewards, it's always nicer to use the card. The food was okay but nothing I would go out of my way to eat as I did.

As a South Texas native, I consider myself well-versed in what makes a burrito a burrito (or a taco a taco)--the tortilla. Chuspy's has a superb flour tortilla that has just the right thickness, softness, and taste. Still, its corn tortilla is really the one that is truly unique, as it carries a rich, mature corn flavor while at the same time being sturdy enough to really hold the contents of the burrito just as well as the flour tortilla without being tough. A really difficult combination but they nail it. Going inside the burrito now, I could not have been more satisfied with the eggs. I went a bit off the beaten path and tried their chicharrón, and it was again that perfect combination of texture, softness, and rich flavor. The Steak Ranchero plate gave me a chance to test their beef and chorizo, and the results were consistent. I thoroughly savored the steak before throwing it on my tortilla, and while chorizo is generally a fourth or fifth option for me, it held its own and really completed my self-made burritos. I am tired of places that call their food tex-mex and in reality it doesn't come close to mothers cooking, you can find these places every where. How hard is it to find a flour tortilla that is evenly cooked and not raw or so thick at one end you have to cut it off? What is hard to find is an authentic well cooked and flavored food that taste close to moms. But to my great surprise I came across this tiny cozy Chuspy's Burritos, and bam! im home again! authentic tex-mex decently priced and the owner is at the register with outstanding service. read more

This place is my go to morning stop. I am so happy that they have homemade corn tortillas. They are delicious and do not brake apart. Since being diagnosed with celiac disease I haven't been able to really stop and get hot and ready food. But this is made with love! They even know my order when I walk in and that means the world to me that they take time to get to know there customers. Would definitely recommend trying this great food and great service. read more

I thought it would be more of a take out place, but they have full seating and service; there is even a small bar. But you can of course, order to take away. We started off the Nachos as an appetizer. It comes with beef and bean. I'm still getting used to food in Texas; I'm used to refried beans with nachos but they use beans like you would find in a can of pork & beans. I've never had nachos without jalapenos. It is not advertised with jalapenos but I just assumed it would come with them. You can order them as a "add-on" but I've just never heard of or seen nachos without jalapenos. A bit too much of the queso sauce and chips get soggy quite quickly. For the meal, we shared a burger, the Blue Ultra. The beef patty is quite big and I'm guessing about a 1/2 pound patty. It's cooked more to the medium to medium/well done. It also comes topped with onions and bacon. I thought it would also come with lettuce and tomato but that was not in the menu description; we should have asked to have that added. We ordered it with a side of onion rings. Some things about this place; it was quite clean looking but the entire time there, we were swatting flies away. It was difficult to enjoy the meal as flies were landing on our heads, table, the drink glasses and almost on the food. If they don't get the fly issue under control, I would not order to eat in. Most of the food seemed overly salty from the nachos (maybe it was the beef or queso sauce) and the burger was quite salty. The onion rings were quite fresh and if not so greasy, I would say are the best I have had in a long time. The service is nice but it's uncomfortable when the server stands there right over you as you pay the bill and they automatically select 20% as the tip. Whatever happened to the days when the check was left at the table and you could take care of it at your own convenience and weren't being pressured about the tip when someone stands over you. Overall, fair place. But the fly problem, abundance of salt and hovering server when paying is a reason I will likely not return.
