Churros! 10/10 recommend eating, 0/10 recommend sharing.

Churros El Tio Gelos are a must when visiting Ensenada. The churros are made right in front of you and they are perfection. They're covered in the perfect amount of cinnamon sugar and are perfectly cooked. The service is also good, we plan to make a stop here the next time we are in Ensenada, would highly recommend!

Giant azz churro!!

This is the BEST FREAKING churro I have ever had in my life. My goodness....crispy, piping hot on the outside. Warm, soft and slightly gooey on the inside. Made to order fresh while you are in line, you get the entire circle of churro, chopped up in front of you and stuffed into a simple brown bag. Lightly dusted with cinnamon sugar, no need for any dipping sauce. Churro Perfected.

Fresh Churros - Ensenada, Mexico

Saturday, September 7 Royal Caribbean Navigator of the Seas 76°F / 83% Humidity Keeping this review short and sweet! If you're walking along the promenade near the cruise ship port and you see this vendor, stop what you're doing and get in line! These are probably the freshest churros I've ever had. Beautiful, golden crispy exterior with the chewiest, fluffiest interior! So hot it'll burn your mouth if you eat one too fast. The cinnamon sugar coating was just the perfect amount too. They accept cash, card, and pesos. Very inexpensive and very delicious! Mexico 2024 collection: https://www.yelp.com/collection/kYAzNGL6833M5SmSYnRRVA/Mexico-2024

This is a fairly known spot for Churros and they make it fresh, cooked to order in front of you. I recommend getting the $6 large size as they're delicious. We even did a 6 minute video of the amazing process of ordering and posted it on You Tube to show our friends. Fair warning to traveling tourists who port here via a cruise ship. You can NOT bring these back onboard as you return to the cruise ship. We were rejected entry by the border security in Mexico with the option of throwing the churros away or consuming them before passing onto board the ship. Fortunately, we were able to eat them on a nearby bench. However, some folks may opt to thoughtfully bring back some for friends/family. I believe this rule or law applies to all fresh foods and only sealed packaged foods can be brought back (and that may not include fruits, vegetables or meats), so no fault to the locals or this place.

Found this food vendor late at night due to our cruise changing itinerary to avoid a hurricane. They were one of the vendors on the first street you walk onto as you exit the gate to get into downtown from the boardwalk. A small bag of churro was only 50 pesos, about 3 USD. They stuff their paper bags, the small bag fit 8 churros. I ordered them plain, you're able to drizzle sauces on them if you'd like. The churro was fried to perfection. Crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy with a light chew on the inside. The sugar and cinnamon mixture was not too sweet. They are constantly making them fresh and the line for it is definitely worth it! They are so sweet and will give you time to figure out what you would like. If you don't speak any Spanish, you're still able to order with little to no troubles. They have all their sizes up on display with the price of peso written on them.

Our trip was changed around because of Hurricane Hilary, so we only ended up in Ensenada for about 4.5 hours. We told ourselves we wanted a margarita and churros. Well as soon as we got off the ship and walked a little ways we saw this spot so we hopped in line which thankfully we made it with good timing because they make everything fresh to order so it takes a few minutes and the line got pretty long behind us. The guys making the churros weren't the friendliest or the best customer service but damn did those churros make up for it. They were just so focused on their job of making fresh churros they get a pass from me. Best churros I've ever had in my life! $6 for a large bag (see my pics)

Churros were fire! They had a few different sizes. We got a small container for 60 pesos and topped it with caramel, chocolate and condensed milk. They also had strawberry topping. It's a tiny shop next to a couple of other churro spots but this one is amazing.

With exception to the bigger selection of churros up in La Bufadora, this is the best place for churros near the port. If you're passing through on a cruise ship, please stop here. They are always very nice and seem to love serving these up. They are so light, airy, crispy and delicious! He squeezes the large round into a bag for $3, depending on the season.

Love these churros! They're served from a stand right across from the park. They have normal and filled options. We liked them so much, we had them set up shop at Punta Morro during our wedding reception! It was a huge hit. Friendly people, and great churros.

$2USD Churro. Not worth it.
