Who doesn't love a churro?! (Well maybe those who are allergic) Did you know there are seasonal churros throughout the year? Especially during the California food and wine festival in Disney California Adventure (DCA), so be sure to keep your eye out! The service is always friendly and usually fairly quick, but there can be longer lines if the seasonal flavor is popular. Some flavors are easy to eat on the go to enjoy the ambiance of the parks, while others are messy and you will want to find a place to sit down to enjoy. My favorite cart will forever be Willie's Churros as in 2021 after being shuttered due to COVID, Disneyland opened the downtown area and DCA up to this cart. My friends took a roadtrip to be able to step foot in the park for a churro and shop World of Disney. It was truly magical as I greatly missed the parks, and the glorious flavor that is a classic Churro from Disneyland.

THE BEST! Disneyland churros are unlike any other (and yes, I know they are just tio pepe churros haha) My favorite cart is typically the churro cart at DCA in Hollywood Land. The line is usually the shortest and I've gotten the crispiest, freshest, warmest, and fluffiest churro there of all time. I also do love the rotating flavors! None come quite as close to the original. There was a spicy chocolate flavor that I really enjoyed that they bring back every so often. This time around I tried the dragon fruit churro they had for Lunar New Year. It was really pretty and tasty! Not better than the original. But had the taste of fruity cereal (kind of like Cap'n Crunch Berries). A yummy treat!

Disney resort churros! Been eating them since they were just plain crunchy treats rolled on sugar (and a lot cheaper too). Now Disney churros have grown up and now come in all kinds of variations. If you are there during a special time like Christmas, food & wine, Halloween, you'll find all kinds of churros. I was just there for Lunar New year and had the ginger orange churro- chunks of candied ginger with orange jam down the length of it. This was a winner with me! Sometimes the churros can be a little hard but this time it was crunchy with a soft inside. Be sure to eat them hot- cold churros aren't very good. Most of the time I skip the extra dipping sauce which is a thick sweet cream cheese kind of dip. The churro is sweet as it is, the dip makes it too sweet IMO. If you are new to Disney, you need to try this iconic treat at least once!

I love Disney churros. In preparation for our latest Disney visit, I Insta stalked a bunch of official Disney, and Disney fan pages. I wanted to have our must eats all figured out. While the coffee churro was not highlighted on all of the pages, it was the ONE food I had never tried that I knew I had to. A Disney coffee churro sounded heavenly. The churros did not disappoint. The churros themselves were crunchy on the outside, without being so crunchy that they cut the inside of one's mouth. Inside was nice and soft. There was a line, so churros were super fresh. Powdered coffee is used to impart a strong flavor. The cinnamon gives a bit of a Mexican hot chocolate vibe. The coffee infused chocolate drizzle, whipped cream, and sprinkles made the dish extra special. It's like a sundae but with churros instead of ice cream. A celebration of coffee and churros if you will. This churro cart was the only place to get these beauties. The line moved at a decent pace. From line to being done with our churros was only about 10 minutes.

    Lemon bar churro for $6.75!

Tried the lemon bar churro during my visit to DCA and loved it! It's supposedly rolled in crushed vanilla wafer sugar but honestly could have passed for powdered sugar and I wouldn't have known the difference. I did enjoy the lemon drizzle though! Gave the churro a nice tart kick to it that tasted great. A bit of a hefty price at $6.75 each but what isn't overpriced at Disney? It was a nice snack to have. Hopefully they have some other flavors to try next time I visit.

Disneyland churros are the best. They also have best churros combinations as well. I've tried the plain but my favorite was the Malificent churro at the churro cart by town square! It's rolled in chocolate cookie crumbles. You can get the peanut butter dipping sauce at and extra cost, but it's so worth it. Honestly the dipping sauce doesn't taste a lot like peanut butter, but there's a bit of PB and it's not sweet. I thought it was gonna taste more like frosting but it was perfect! I want another, but it's seasonal and only during the Halloween season! Good stuff.

Disneyland Churros are the best! We like this location because it's never really crowded. They off different flavors are time but we like the original one the best! We have to get one every time we visit the parks!

Who doesn't love churros! Well, if you can find this cart (over by redwood forrest/grizzly rapids) you have to try the peanut candy churro. It is absolutely fabulous!! 10/10 The service was great too!

Special oogie boogie Poison apple churro, taste like fall in a bite. Has the candy apple red with the fall tasting churro. It was delicious and definitely recommend!

Loaded maple bacon churro. If you see them making it like this then it's a must try
    Christopher S.

Peach cobbler was good with lots of whip cream and the peaches were huge but should have been cubed for easy eating and scooping with the churro

Raspberry churro next to Guardians of the Galaxy ftw!!! Love the flavor and texture, also helps kills the boredom of waiting in line for the ride.

I have…read moretried chimichurri sauces from Whole Foods and Trader Joe's but they aren't really very authentic. A friend recommended seeing what El Gaucho might have, so I visited the next day. The market is easy to spot with a big street sign out front. There are only two parking spots in front, one is a handicapped space. There's plenty of parking around the back though. When you walk in, you will see the main market with lots of items and brands I've never seen before. Slightly to the right is their deli counter with lots of meats, cheeses, and other miscellaneous items. To the right of the entrance is a dining area, and another counter where you can order sandwiches, empanadas, pizza, French fries, and drinks. I was laser focused on getting the chimichurri and leaving since I was short on time. It is in plastic bottles in plain view on on top of the deli counter. I purchased the regular variety, but they also have a spicy version. I could already tell this was going to be way better than the other two sauces I tried. I've had it on a steak, and on my breakfast scrambled eggs, and it's in a whole different league from the grocery versions I tried. It looks just like a restaurant chimichurri, oil based with lots of herbs and spices. I just had a nice filet mignon with chimichurri at a good Argentinan restaurant last week, and this chimichurri is about 90% as good. I moved it from the plastic bottle it comes in to a glass jar which will hopefully help preserve it longer, and store it in the refrigerator. I now have no reason to look elsewhere for chimichurri. My friend visits here periodically and says the sandwiches are excellent. I'll have to return again to try one, get more chimichurri, and explore the market and deli to see what other goodies they have.

Even though each store has a strengths, I feel like overall Bristol Farms is the better of the two. This is speaking as millennial and maybe Bristol Farms serves a more immature crowd. Hopefully it stays that way. They have everyday products and they have very niche products. Literally something for everyone their bakery is delicious and of course they have their classic big cookies that are served warm. I haven't had anything from the juice/coffee bar yet, but I will next, however the poke bar and the hot bar, never disappoints and that is why I'm writing this review finally. Today I had a flounder piccata mashed potatoes, perfectly roasted vegetables, and pasta Bolognese with huge chunks of beef. Everything was delicious. The flounder even remained crunchy two hours after leaving the store they don't have the variety in the hot bar that Whole Foods has, however, the quality is far superior, and the flavor is in the upper echelon compared to Whole Foods. These are consistent findings within the self-service food area even within the deli carving station. Sometimes they have turkey briskets. I believe I've even purchased prime rib there and the quality and flavor is always on point consistently the presentation of all of their items never fails either also, every time I go to Bristol Farms you're always greeted with a smile. The staff is really nice and in general they look like they're happy to be there which makes the shopping experience that much better.

I think I was a little hesitant because in my head I was thinking how good could possibly really be? In my head spaghetti/pasta is something I can make it home and almost thought it a waste of money to go out of my way to go out specifically to eat this dish. I ordered the Arrabiata pasta with the sausage. I'll admit I was a little thrown off by added cost of each tolling and also added cost of the Arrabiata sauce and I also did wait until a fair amount before the food was ready for takeout. But the pasta really blew me away. I'm still thinking about how good it tasted. I would definitely come back and I actually wanna bring my dad who loves spicy pasta like this. It was really that good. I can't think of another place that has this level of pasta let alone this price. The only negative I would say in regards to one of the workers. The cashier was manned by wonderful woman who did every and all tasks from taking the orders to putting food items in the oven to answering the phone I'm probably much more than that. I don't know. In contrast there was an Asian man with a black shirt who was also working. He looked lost and completely helpless. There was a moment where this woman was so busy and there was a ringing that I assume was from either a phone call or a delivery order. This man did not offer to help more nor did he help from what I saw. He was utterly helpless and unhelpful. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt with the encouragement "Hey help your team out!" The woman on the other hand was doing so many things simultaneously and yet was really kind at the same time. Anyways, I'm giving my review of a five star because I wanna see this place succeed and I'll definitely come back .
