I was visiting from Vegas and hadn't had church's chicken since the 90s. So I was excited about having some. So my Daughter and I decided to come through the drive thur. So disappointed with the experience the young lady that helped us rushed us and had a very nasty attitude the entire interaction. This was on 07/25/25 around 2 or 3 pm. So once we got home the order was incorrect no spicy chicken at all. The chicken was very tasteless The biscuits were hard and didn't have a good flavor .This bad experience really messed up my great memories of your church's chicken . I WIll NOT RETURN! Well I ordered at the drive thru. I was trying to open my app to get my discount and when I asked for help at the window the so called manager Karyme M was rude and told me it's not her job to help with the app. This was in 11/23/25 around 4;40pm. While waiting for my food I figured it out and asked her if I could get my discount she said the order was not wrong and she would not do it. I asked again if she would refund and redo the order again she said no. This is not the first time she has been rude and really treating people like shit. Also I have had my order incorrect and was refused to get my order fixed. I was also charged for sauce ms and never received them. The fries were cold as well. Terrible location! I came through the drive thru to place my order, asked for everything fresh. When i got home and opened my 3-piece combo my food looked horrible. I had 2 very small pieces of chicken and one giant piece. my chicken was not fresh it was in fact soggy. My mashed potatoes were cold, and my drink was flat after asking for a new one because the last drink was flat. I called the store to try and get my money back and got no answer. I am highly upset. Placed order for pickup at 730 - showed up to the door at 750, was told we needed to get in the drive thru line to pickup. Seen the black girl inside slam someone's food box down on the counter, the box opened and she shoved the chicken back in with bare hands. Absolutely disgusting. Made a pickup order and have to go through the drive thru on Saturday the 12th at 7:50 because they lock the front door. What is the point for ordering on line to pickup if you have to wait in line for the drive thru that and the line is going around the building with all the vehicles. These guys cannot get it together, constantly a 20-minute wait for spicy chicken, after10+ minutes waiting to order. I decided to order online, takes me about 20 minutes to get to the store so I figure that there shouldn't be an issue. I arrive 22 minutes after the Churches Website said my order would be ready, guess what, still a 20-minute wait. I didn't have the for the extra 20 minutes, so I asked for my money back. I was told that I need to cancel the order where I ordered it from. So, I got to drive home with no food and deal with their own web site. My son bought us dinner from this drive thru recently. Not to be ungrateful, but, if we'd seen the yelp reviews beforehand we wouldn't have bothered. Though it wasn't great (average fried chicken/longish wait) it wasn't terrible, it was just too many "well...buts". Well, they were open, but they were slow. Well, they had food but it wasn't great. Well, they have us most of our order, but not all. The biscuits were quite odd (tiny and unrisen, dipped in honey?) and there was a small mix up on the order, and service was slow enough to warrant not doing jack shit about it. So I stopped going to the restaurant because of the lack of Customer Service, I've been there twice this week as of today and the service is so bad. I was standing there for 10 minutes before somebody said something to me. I actually told one of the people you must be having a bad day and horrible answer was answered back to me. I'm very disappointed. This Place needs new management. The manager didn't even try to fix the issue. It was pretty much you as the customer is wrong and I'm right, you can leave now! A whole chicken has 8 pieces. 2 legs, 2 wings, 2 breasts and 2 thighs. Pretty simple math. So a half chicken would be 1 of each. Churches chicken has a special right now. 2 half chickens plus 6 crispy tenders, biscuits and 2 sides for 20$ not a bad deal. My husband goes and picks it up. He gets home and the box has everything but it's short 4 pieces of chicken. They gave me 2 thighs and 2 legs. This is really at best a half of a chicken. He went back. 1st question for the lady in the drive through. How many pieces in a whole chicken. She said 8. I showed her the flyer. I purchased the 2 half chicken meal. How many pieces in 2 halves. She said 4 !! He broke the math down. She didnt get it. He was so frustrated broke it down in spanish. Then he saw she understood. She got the manager. He said it doesnt promise a whole chicken it only states 2 halves . I said a half plus a half equals a whole. He said he has 2 halves . There is absolutely no reason for this place to still be in existence with a 1.5 star rating. I've watched this group of people over the last 8 months, their customer service and hygiene is pitiful. Their ratings with the Department of Health Services is pure aweful! I have observed and determined, this place is nothing more than a hang out spot for a group of people that need to produce an income for bills and partying. They are hiring but if you don't fit their click / group requirements (lazy, parties, poor hygiene) you will not be hired! The last of their priorities or concerns are "you" as a customer! I went to Churches Chicken in Casa Grande for the first time since I've moved here in 1986. Sad to say it was very dissapointed . I ordered shrimp and strips. People were coming and leaving like crazy. I waited 35 minutes and had to say something. I think that place needs a new Manager. But you can tell ,the Manager shouldn't have to work like a regular employee, he should be managing and not taking and filling orders. He should be managing. I ordered a chicken sandwich and I couldn't believe it when I got it. It looked like it was something from the kid's menu - it was 3-4 bites worth of food. And it was way overcooked. Tasted like paper. My boyfriend got a 3 piece meal and we asked for dark and spicy. When we got it, they gave him white. When I went up to tell the woman the order was wrong, she said they didn't have any dark meat in spicy. If I could give this restaurant 0 stars I would. The customer service is lacking. Either the speaker for the drive through menu is broken or the staff are hard of hearing, because there is always an issues with the staff hearing an order. I have been asked repeatedly to repeat myself on an order more than a couple of visits. I attempted to give this location chances seeing how Churches is a favorite but we have finally had enough. The service was repeatedly bad, items were left out of the order, spilled food in the bag, and unhelpful calls to the manager have not been productive in improving services.
