Like most Elite Lounges I've visited, there are self serve coffee/tea/snack stations. Unlike most, there is no buffet or self serve bar. There is an attentive staff that take your food/drink order off a very nice selection on their menu. Both menus highlight Australian produced food and wines. Very nice! The lounge is large and sirs over the Qantas gates, so its easy to see when your plane is at the gate. They also use the archaic mechanical flight screen that gives a delightful click-click-clack every time it updates. Guaranteed to bring back delightful memories for us older travelers!

We entered the lounge and the deco was awesome. Escalator up we did another round of check in and were guided towards the seating area. You can choose to sit anyone but those who would prefer to eat get seated in a reserved area for food. We sat in the casual area for some coffee and champagne and then later decided to eat. We had a full meal of options to choose from. They have an open kitchen and the variety did not disappoint. I had the corn soup and fish with veggies which was good. We also had lamb and fries which did not disappoint. Lounge has a great variety of wine and champagne. If you have a lot of time you can use their Spa. The lounge itself is very clean, and everyone here is very friendly and helpful. Location is awesome as well. View of plane landing and taking off. Our gate was below us so we could see our plane landing. This was our third time using the lounge at Sydney airport and was the best experience.

Burgers x Hip Hop…read more I could leave it at that but actually I can't because this place has it going on in a way that makes me proud to be alive. Was going to try the cheeseburger until the guy at the counter told me about an off-menu burger called B.W.A. (an homage to NWA. Straight outta Roesebery, yo!). It's a double stack jacked up with cheese and bacon and house made hot sauce and it's f--king delicious, like a light from heaven shines down on you when you're eating it and the devil pops up to give you a hot sauce high five all at the same time. These dudes love music - they're DJs and man the decks on Saturday nights - but they also love their mums, so much that they named their fresh juices after them. I mean. Can you just. Which is to say, that is all right in my book. Oh, and try the tater tots. They come in a tin pail and are pretty great. The chocolate shakes are drizzled with a ton of chocolate syrup and frothed up the wazoo, it's a heady mix. Ain't nobody doing what these guys are doing.

F me. This place…read moreopened up less than 10 minute walk from my house and it contains two things that I love. Burgers and Hip Hop. I don't know how I didn't know about this place earlier since it opened about a month ago...but I've been twice in less than a week now, and probably coming up on three times soon. They have hip hop tunes playing constantly, and sometimes they'll have someone on the 1's and 2's. They offer several types of burgers from their Belfield Burger, their Cheeseburger, their Chicken (fried) burger, their Pork burger, a Veggie burger, and two brekkie burgers. Each of these is $8-12. Sides come at $5 a pop and can be chips, wedges, fried mushrooms, or tater tots. If you want wings they're $10 a pop. They also serve beer and wine if you're keen. The burgers can be customised as well, so if you want to add another patty, add some bacon, add more cheese, add onion rings or whatever else you desire they can probably do that. I've had their cheeseburger (double,) chicken burger, and their current special the BWA, which is a tribute to Straight Outta Compton and kind of huge and ridiculous. The chicken burger was only OK for me, I love their buns and the chicken was cooked fine, it was just a little bland and needed just a little more flavour. The cheeseburger was AWESOME...just burger porn to the fullest. Medium rare patty, melted gooey cheese, what's not to like? This burger is a pretty dirty and greasy burger like Mary's so if that's your style you'll enjoy this one. BWA was just a monster and had a bit of a spicy kick. This place is trouble for me...

The other thing odd about this club is the lack of electrical outlets. Folks were trying to double and triple up on the one or two available outlets. Surprised that they didn't have the long tables with outlets like most of the other clubs and frankly, like most food courts these days. That said, the coffee and alcohol selection was nice and the plates and napkins were displayed nicely. I really liked the self-serve draft beer. They had three local selections and small chilled beer glasses - perfect for a last taste of some fun beers before leaving the country. Service was friendly although be forewarned the club is on the second level and the escalators seem to break so that leaves one small elevator. When it was time to board a flight with 300 people, that was a lot of people to try to get down one tiny elevator with a lot of belongings.

Yet, David, the maître d', welcomed us with a radiant smile and accommodated our party of four without a moment's hesitation. We were then placed in the expert hands of Julia. Her warmth and keen attentiveness elevated the evening as she guided us through the menu's highlights. Every recommendation delivered delicious flavors and superb quality. The pièce de résistance was undoubtedly the bone-in sirloin. Served as the centerpiece of our dinner, it was fresh, cooked to a flawless medium-rare and stood out as the undisputed star of the night. Throughout the evening, Julia's service remained exemplary. She anticipated our every need, seamlessly topping up water glasses and discreetly checking on our satisfaction. As the evening grew chilly, Julia's thoughtful hospitality shone through when she proactively offered blankets to keep us warm. This is hospitality at its finest and thank you for a memorable evening. Definitely ask for David and Julia to make sure you have an amazing night out. And hey, don't forget to leave a nice tip!
