Sunday Funday is off to the races!…read more There's nothing quite like a Sunday at the Del Mar Racetrack--where the horses are racing, the snacks are flying, and we're betting on a good time! We kicked off the day with Pizza Port food truck because every race day needs a little horsepower AND carbs! Then it was time to watch the races with all the essentials: popcorn, pretzel bites, and fries! Between the cheering, the beautiful horses, the ocean breeze, and all the good eats, this is what I call a winning Sunday! And remember... it's not about coming in first, it's about having a "neigh"-mazing time! Del Mar Racetrack 2260 Jimmy Durante Blvd, Del Mar, CA 92014 #DelMarRaces

Hahaha, because for some reason, as a little girl, I thought I was going to be a NASCAR driver - so I guess my hour of fame finally came true! I got to experience this through a company event, and it was 1000% everything I dreamed it would be. I had a mix of emotions but loved every single moment! The instructors were super cool, thorough, and made me feel completely safe and confident throughout the experience. The cars were top-notch and so much fun to race on the track - I would totally recommend this for special events or just to treat yourself to an unforgettable experience. I'm telling you, the adrenaline and rush from these babies on the track made me want to buy a BMW right then and there! Parking was a little confusing since you had to make your own spot as it got super crowded at one point but thankfully it wasn't an issue since we left plenty of time. If you're coming here to run a race or ride bikes, plan for it to be windy and full of dust. I'm glad we had face coverings! My only complaint for Spartan is they didn't have more places for shade because it got pretty toasty at 80 degrees. Otherwise, it was a great location and a great set up for a race! We're hooked and already planning our next race for the trifecta this year

I attended a motocross race here as a spectator, and unfortunately the experience was overshadowed…read moreby how poorly the event was managed. The biggest issue was traffic control. We actually left before the race was even over, yet it still took us nearly four hours just to get out of the parking lot. During that entire time, I only saw one person directing traffic. For an event drawing this many people, there clearly needs to be a better plan for parking lot management and exit flow. The parking lot itself became a chaotic, jam-packed standstill. What was even more concerning was the number of kids and young people I witnessed openly snorting what appeared to be cocaine while everyone was stuck waiting to leave. Seeing that kind of behavior taking place so openly was shocking and created an uncomfortable atmosphere for families and other spectators. The racing may have been good, but the lack of traffic management and the concerning behavior I observed in the parking areas made this a disappointing experience overall. Significant improvements are needed before I would consider attending another event here.
