The food was incredible, the portion felt substantial, and for once I left feeling like I got a plate that was actually heavy without my wallet feeling light. The sauce was outstanding. The tri-tip was excellent, the ribs were excellent, and the pork was good. The real surprise might have been the baked beans, which were easily the best I've ever had. The mac and cheese was good too. Really impressive barbecue, great value, and absolutely a must-visit.

The service was really quick and the person who gave us the order was really nice and had great customer service. The outside was small but clean and gave the bbq vibe. I could not recommend this place more and wish I took a picture of it but it was devoured in seconds.

Moving here to Idaho I expected very little in the way of good Mexican food, though I've been pleasantly surprised by a few spots and Taco Works for me is right up there with the best taco trucks in LA. Last night, I tried their fajita burrito. It came out quickly and piping hot, with chunky roasted peppers and onions. And a splash of sour cream. The asada was of decent quality, the frijoles refritos were delicious, and though the salsa verde was caliente, it didn't kick too hard. I enjoyed that burrito so much that I went back for a breakfast burrito this morning. It was fantastic with eggs, home fried potatoes, grilled onions, cheddar, and some of the best extra super meaty chunks of bacon I've even had. For me, this breakfast burrito was better than at any other Mexican or American food restaurant in the area. Both burritos were larger than any others I've had in the Inland Northwest, and the price for each was better than nearly every other Mexican spot in the area. Finally, the workers are friendly and humble, and in my opinion, this taco spot deserves much success and your business.

Sandwich can get a little messy, prepare yourself with some napkins, and don't let it sit or it'll get soggy from the juices. My roommate thought his cheese steak was average, not bad but not the best he's ever had either. Pop's brownie was chocolatey and moist and a great way to end a flavorful lunch. The shack is located in a convenient spot and the lot has ample parking. Service was great. The woman helping us was friendly and even gave me a frequent buyer punch card since I told her it was my first time there. Fyi, Monday's are double punch days! I'm a cash-type of person anyway, but bring cash if you don't want to be charged $1 to use your card.

Huge selection of healthy meals (fully labeled with nutrition information, organic ingredients, no seed oils or ingredients you have to sound out to pronounce) that mostly just need to be heated up (some meals you can eat cold). CAPOW!!! The meals all have super high quality packaging, are proportioned well, have high quality ingredients, great taste, good variety and, while a little pricey, are justified in their price due to the ease to make and high quality ingredients that are used. CAPOW!!! This is a professional, clean, well run establishment. Before finding them, I tried using one of their competitors. The competitors food was not the best, the person stationed at the counter would stare at me while I shopped and say things, seemingly to themself out loud, like "I wonder how many meals they'll buy..." while creepily staring at me. I would nervously laugh and pretend those remarks didn't happen. And apparently, that competitors business hours were hypothetical since they would be closed sporadically when I'd stop by during normal business hours. I was told this was the best sushi in Coeur d'Alene, so I had to check it out…read more I went for dinner, well before they closed for the day, and didn't think that I would have any issues. However, I got there and the guy asked if I had done a call ahead order. I told him that I hadn't that I was just walking up for dinner. He then told me that they might not be able to make me dinner because they had so many orders. This means they're a victim of their own success, and that's a good problem for them to have, but it doesn't make for a great dining experience. He ended up asking me what I wanted to order, which I thought was a little odd after he had told me that they probably weren't going to be able to serve me. I told him, and he told me that they could probably "fit me in" but it that it would be a 20 to 30 minute wait. So I waited. To be fair, they did eventually get me my sushi. It was good, not great. They did this thing that I don't really appreciate where they put wasabi in the rolls. Not that I don't like wasabi, but don't put wasabi in the role or on my individual pieces of sushi. The last thing about this place that I would say, is that it is quite expensive. I understand that sushi is always expensive, but there is less expensive just as good sushi options in Coeur d'Alene other than this location. It's also just a food truck, which I think is super cool, but it's in a shared parking lot, and there's not really any outdoor seating. So this is definitely a to-go location. I would definitely go back if somebody else wanted to check it out, I don't know that I would make a special trip to revisit this location.
