Let me start by saying- I rarely write reviews, and I hate to complain. But I felt that this is necessary considering the situation I went through.
So I recently took my vehicle here after hitting a deer on my front bumper, causing about 4k in damages. I chose Chuck Nash because I figured a 1 of 1 company would care much more than a corporate ran center, and boy was I wrong. When I initially dropped my vehicle off, everything seemed great and they explained the process very well, and I appreciated that. However, once my vehicle was in their care, it seemed like I had been ghosted by the technician in charge of my vehicle, as I called probably around 20 times throughout the course of being out of my vehicle, and was only able to get a hold of him once or twice and was told to call back, or that he would call me back - and that's just the start of the issues. About two weeks in, when I got them on the phone the first time, they let me know that they had found additional damage when they were putting the vehicle back together, and the part they needed was on back order which is understandable. But what I have trouble understanding is: why did it take two weeks to fully asses my vehicle and it's damage? I feel as if a complete tear down to asses damage should've been done promptly before any parts were even ordered. So now, we're about a month and a week without a vehicle, insurance has stopped paying for my rental, and I'm forced to fork over about 500$ in rent fees, fees that could've been avoided had a more efficient process been utilized to asses my vehicle. When I finally got the long awaited call that my car was ready, I was stoked! When I got my vehicle, I didn't notice anything off at first, it took me the drive home to realize they had installed a headlight that belonged to the same model vehicle, but different year, resulting in the headlight not functioning, and the LED fixture wouldn't come on. When I noticed that, I immediately knew there were bound to be more issues, and I was right. I looked at the paint on my brand new bumper and noticed contaminated paint that looked like it had been done by a high schooler with a can of spray paint. I called them back, and they were kind enough to fix it; they installed the proper headlamp unit and polished the paint. However when I got the car back AGAIN there was notably less contaminated paint, but still noticeable bumps and what appears to be dirt under the paint in some areas, which I cannot remove without using an abrasive technique like polishing. At that point, I was over it, and had lost all faith in their company's ability to remediate the paint any further or repair my vehicle at all, frankly, so I took my loss and drove home. I will never in my life give any business to Chuck Nash Auto Group, as they have displayed that they simply do not care to quality check their own work. I will say, I talked to the General manager, Ginger, and she was very kind and helpful, however she's not located at that center, and doesn't quite oversee every aspect of the process. Katie was very kind and helpful as well, although she wasn't necessarily apart of my repair process. As for the rest of their team, I found the atmosphere they created to be quite unwelcoming, and considering most people spend thousands of their hard earned money with them, either through their insurance or their pocket, I feel as if they should have had a more endearing attitude towards their clientele. I should've known to turn around and walk out when I visited the location the first time, and a lady had came in at the same time as me saying they had damaged her car on, and then another guy came in after saying he broke his taillight! I cannot believe that I chose this repair shop, and hope that in writing this review, I can help others avoid the same fate. read more
