    Red Dot Auction

I attended an art auction here last night and had a blast. This art gallery featuring the animation work of artists such as Chuck Jones and Dr. Seuss. The space also doubles as the home of the Chuck Jones Center for creativity. At the auction I was able to read about and see videos of the work they do to foster creativity in adults and children... A lost function and requirement in our schools today. They have painting classes, free drawing and much more. Fun for adults and kids. Check it out!

Attended a wonderful nonprofit organization event here. The space was comfortable, the only downfall would be the sun. After 1pm the sun is shining so bright into the center that it was giving me a headache and the room quickly got stuffy warm when you close the doors along with women's bathroom stall was not in use so it left just 1 working. But other than that it was a great event.

New Year's Eve dance hosted by Heritage Park Ward Midsingles (LDS church)

Went to a dance that was held here for New Year's. It was ok. The center it self is nice space for a large group but the dance it self was slightly disappointing. It was a Latter-Day Saint mid singles dance with the theme Great Gatsby. The drinks were cleaver, karaoke, and dancing of course. My friend wanted a place to put her purse and there was supposed to be a coat check but really it was just a RACK that was supervised by a very much so older lady. I think id rather have a more private place then this in the middle of a shopping center surrounded by other restaurants. Perhaps a club house. Many people kept coming up to us asking if the dance was for the public. For 20-25$ at the door it was a bit pricy for a dance they could have had at a church building for free.

The Chuck Jones Center for Creativity is dedicated to that process of creativity. The CJCC is a nonprofit organization, recently relocating to Costa Mesa. ('Located @ the OC Mart Mix) From the CJCC website: The Center was founded in 1999 by the four-time Academy Award recipient, legendary animation creator and director, Chuck Jones. CJCC''s vision is to inspire the innate creative genius within each person that leads to a more joyous, passionate, and harmonious life and world. These are important goals, particularly in today's world, when arts education is practically non-existent; we are dedicated to re-invigorating the creative spirit and we are doing it through art classes, exhibitions, lectures, film festivals, and our online community, all of which spring from the material in the Chuck Jones archive. Jones was a determined saver and his writings, art, and other ephemera from a nine-decade life, along with his philosophy of guiding and nurturing instruction, form the basis of our programs. Our growing creative community inspires joy and innovation in people of all ages, energizing them to transform their lives, their communities, and society as a whole. - Aloha! Loved this place. The gallery just cant help but make you smile. With art of Dr. Suess stuff and of course Bugs Bunny and the Looney Tunes. It was fun and refreshing. Looks like they had a Birthday party going on, which looked fun. I will have to check out the art classes for my daughter. It looked so FUN.

Make sure you login to the website and checkout locations and dates and register yourself for openings. It's great to come with family, friends or coworker. They have many different ways you can volunteer your time or just put a shoebox together and drop it off at a processing location. We had a good time joining a team on the floor and were given a little training and we went to work for a couple of hours. My first job was to scan shoe boxes that people had donated and wanted it tracked. It was kinda boring as those were infrequent so I switched over to checking shoe boxes that were donated making sure they didn't have certain items not permitted in the box. After awhile I switch to taping boxes shut after the inspection process which worked out fine as I was constantly working. Checkout the website and see how you can help. https://www.samaritanspurse.org/operation-christmas-child/volunteer-network/

For those who aren't familiar with Sumaritan's Purse, they are a Christian-base nonprofit that provides aids to areas of need here in the U.S and third world countries. They were actually one of the first responders to bring aid to rural areas that were hit by a big typhoon in Central Vietnam in 2017. Air lifting over 200,000 POUNDS of supplies to the villagers who have lost everything. Operation Christmas Child is one of their projects that takes place from Nov-Dec. You can watch one of their videos of this operation on YouTube. Which was how I found them actually. The idea is that you take a shoe box and decorate it and fit anything you can into a shoe box for a child in a third world country (socks, soap, toothbrushes, hair brushes, a small toy, pens, pencil). And then you can drop off the shoe boxes at their processing center by a certain deadline (and if you pay for a tracking label) you can track where your shoe box may end up. OR you can sign up to volunteer during the holidays at the processing center to inspect the shoe boxes or even stuff shoe boxes (companies donate supplies that you can put into boxes). The whole operation is so efficient , to watch one group inspect, one group stuff more gifts in light boxes, one group tape and one group organize the shoeboxes into bigger boxes with tracking labels is really a sight to behold. EVERYONE that you come across are EXCEEDINGLY nice and gracious, from the parking attendant, to the front desk/lobby people to the people running the warehouse. I do understand how Sumaritan's Purse could come as "too much" for people who are not Christians who wants to help. However, I think this organization is truly doing something not just special but extremely meaningful that could change a child's life in a small village some where in the world. With a simple gift from a stranger a world away, to let the child know that they matter, and you you could also include a letter if you wish. Sumaritan's Purse really goes out of their way to deliver the shoeboxes into rural areas often times using elephants to do so! Operation Christmas Child only goes on from Nov to mid Dec (before Christmas because they have to get the shoeboxes out of the U.S. before than)! Cheers!

So far, my experience has been that the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The office is professional. A rather large opertion with more than 20 employees. However, I am mostly using them as an auxiliary legal service. Because I am representating myself and as a saftey net if I have to sell my house quickly. I would like to address some of the negative concerns on here. 1. They are not a scam. 2. They need a signed contract to represent you that is why they have you sign an 18 month first right to sell agreement. 3. I have not used thier attorney's yet. However I would say this. Bankruptcy has a very low rate of success for the borrower. Less than 10% complete a chapter 13 payback program. Becuse it is not setup to help the borrower. But rather to make sure the lenders get paid as much as they can. 4. I have met with Pepe he was very nice guy. In fact he even offered my wife who is a realtor without a broker currently. The opportunity to hang her licenses with them. 5. Rey and Jesses are the two specialists i've been working with. They've been great. Foreclosure is always bad and most don't make it out of it unscathed. So there are always going to be bad reviews on companies and lawyers who work in this industry. I am not saying other reviews are not accurate. But the company is a reality company first the specializes in foreclosures in helping people try to save or sell their home to get the profit out. They are not a bankruptcies or foreclosure attorney, though they offer referrals to them if that is what you need. But the company is not a scam. They make money by donations and commisions if you choose to sell with them. Good Luck. Kat

I specifically told the technician that I had ordered a new one but would be reinstalling this faucet once the new stone was in place. When the stone work was done and I went to reinstall the faucet, it was gone. I called Just In Time Plumbing and was told that the technician had taken it from my home, assuming I no longer wanted it. No one asked me. No one called to confirm. A $1,600 fixture was simply removed from my property without my consent. When I spoke with the owner, Justin, his response was shocking. He told me it is their "standard practice" to dispose of anything they remove, and that if I wanted to keep the faucet, I should have told the technician. In other words, he defended his employee taking personal property from a client's home without asking -- and placed the blame squarely on me. Not once did Justin offer an apology. Not once. And as of today, I have yet to receive a callback with any resolution regarding the replacement of my faucet. If you value your belongings, think twice before letting this company into your home. What they removed from a job site, they apparently consider theirs to keep.
