We had the place to ourselves with maybe 5 other families sprinkled around. It's a fantastic idea, to put tables and food and drinks near the kids playing. You can keep an eye on them but also enjoy yourself. Buy a card and it is unlimited swipes for a certain amt of time. Go have fun and burn that kid-energy off. Win-win. I hosted my son's 5th birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese on Okeechobee Blvd in West Palm Beach, and it was a great experience! With Florida's weather, it was indoor and air conditioned so, yes to that! The kids had an amazing time--30 of them in total. Several parents thanked me for the venue, saying they'd consider it for their own kids' parties. The facility was recently updated, with new games and a jumping area for the little ones, which I loved. The height restriction kept it safe, but I was surprised that access to the jumping area wasn't included in our birthday package, especially since they were out of some items. It costs an additional $8 per child, and I think an attendant should monitor the entrance to keep non-paying kids out if the company goes that route. I appreciated being able to book the "Ultimate FUN" package online with a $50 deposit. The package included 2 hours unlimited gameplay, pizza (for both kids + adults in attendance), collectible cup to hold their unlimited soft drinks, and a birthday show & a dedicated host. I brought my own cake and cupcakes. It was nice having the help of our dedicated host share the cake evenly between everyone. However, Chuck E. didn't appear until 30 minutes before the party ended, which was disappointing. The kids enjoyed the show. We also didn't receive any party hats (which was advertised in the birthday packaged but the kids didn't care for those anyway) and the goodie bags were unavailable due to a shortage, but the staff provided Dippin' Dots and cotton candy as substitutes, which was nice. I did bring my own goodies bags. My son also got to go in the ticket blaster which was fun for him. One frustrating moment was when I was told we could arrive an hour early to set up, but on the day of the party, we were only allowed in 15 minutes prior. With so many kids, that felt inconsiderate. A classic fun house with the modern touch ups for all ages. Yes, I get anxious just thinking of the madness that is associate with Chuck E. Cheese, but honestly, if you plan it right, it's the safest arcade space there is. This location is open at 10 am. It's clean, open-aired, and not too loud. Download the app for some good deals and easier ordering ahead of time, if you're coming to eat here too. The staff was nice but could use an injection of energy for a place like this. They didn't balk at using an online coupon in separate transactions--this can get expensive when you have multiple kids! I'm sitting here while the kids wander to all the games they can get in for an hour, and it's awesome. I'm even watching a staff member walk around testing all the games, so that's a plus. There are no more animatronics, and I haven't seen a mascot so far, but there is a huge wall-length screen with Chuck E., and his buddies talking and moving around. My only complaint so far is that it's way too humid and warm for a place that's making kids run around and play. I can't imagine how this place will feel after lunch time! Yesterday my daughter had a birthday party at the Okeechobee location I paid for the $99 special and bought a pizza additional after that I did not receive a birthday show I was told that it wasn't included even though on the website it says birthday show. I also felt that having a birthday party you should feel a little bit more exclusive and the service was not all that. I remember going to Chuck e cheese as a kid and it was everything this time around it is not the same I will not be having a Chuck e cheese birthday party again. Not to mention I asked them were they going to sing Happy Birthday and one of the associates told me oh 10 minutes turned into 30 minutes so we end up saying a happy birthday ourselves. I've been twice this past week on rainy days with my two girls and wow! This is not the same Chuck E Cheese as when I was a kid. I've been to this location numerous times over the years some experiences better than others but this last one was one of the best. You can not expect to come here Saturday between 2-7 and not expect a huge rush of people, disorder and a mess! So prepare yourself if you decide to. I got here around 3 on a friday afternoon it was just starting to get filled but all of the employees were on there A game...filling ticket machines, cleaning, bringing food out or just helping families..spent a little over 2 hours and had no complaints from adults or kids! Chuck e cheese has finally succumbed to corporate greed. It's a sad sad day for the kids. The idea of playing any games for just ONE token is gone. The coins have been replaced with cards and credits. We cashed in $20 and received 70 credits. So it only comes out to a about 30 cents per credit instead of the old 25 cents per token. On top of all of that...The games are no longer one credit. Some of the games cost 2 credits. So it's 60 cents per game now! They get 2 stars for the cleanliness and the fact that there are new games. Unfortunately Chuck e cheese has turned into any other overpriced arcade. It's not a place you can come regularly anymore. My daughter loves this place! I on the other hand do not enjoy taking my little one to this location. The patrons don't behave in the most respectful way. They really don't offer much and the games seem to always run out of tickets. They also need more staff to be on the floor and not hiding in the kitchen. You always have to go searching for an employee when the games and rides stop working. You also have to wait forever to pickup prizes with the tickets you've won. Initially I was reluctant to book here because of the negative reviews but after visiting and speaking to Courtney I booked anyways. I'm so glad I did. I spoke with Manager Courtney and she was the best!!! She was courteous, professional and accommodating. She helped to make our experience excellent!! Taiesha our party host and another young lady assisted in making sure our every need was met! All of the children and adults had a ball!! I'm glad I decided to book here. My son was so excited about visiting Chuck E Cheese's for his 4th birthday and being able to go inside the Ticket Blaster. Upon arriving, the place was empty but the manager refused to allow him to use the Ticket Blaster citing that it required a 24 hour advance reservation. The manager was so rude and it made for a terrible time at the restaurant. Wonder why your restaurant is empty? Look to the rude manager, Abigail and leadership of your West Palm Beach location. We had our autistic grandsons 5th birthday party here and it was FANTASTIC! They allow you to book early (before they are open to the public 9-11am) and they keep the music turned down, the lights aren't going crazy so the kids do not get over stimulated. Our party host was outstanding, the restaurant was clean and the kids had a fantastic time playing games, meeting Chuck E, eating pizza, cake and dipin dots. Most of the kids in attendance were also autistic so this was an outstanding experience for them too. I am so thankful that they offer this for our kids. My grandson is very easily overstimulated so this was a great experience. Thank you for offering the opportunity for our special kids to have a great time without being overwhelmed. read more

We had an amazing time there today for my twins' 4th birthday today. We scheduled the party at 10:00 am so we had the whole place to ourselves for a good hours, probably more. Our party host, Gianna, was amazing. She helped us with everything we needed and it really made a HUGE difference to know she was on top of everything. She filled cups, brought food out, cut the cake...I mean she did everything! The place is amazing! So clean, lots of space and PLENTY of games to suit any age groups liking. We had 2 year olds at the party and the almost 40 year old dads had plenty of games to keep them busy too (shooting hoops, racing cars and motorcycles, etc). The pizza is actually really tasty and so were the chicken wings. We ended up ordering more food and it came out really quick so our guests were happy. The manager at this location, Courtney, was so professional and patient in handling a couple of little last minute snafus (caused by my guests). Honestly, I was so surprised that we had THIS GOOD of an experience. My twins came home raving about how much fun they had. And truly it was SO.MUCH.FUN. Worth every penny. Where do I start. The place was unorganized, a team member was disrespectful and MIA and the place was dirty. First when I walked in they couldn't find my son's name on their list so I had to wait a while to fix that issue. They eventually did and when I got to the table there was another family celebrating there, smh. The got the family to move and they started to clean the table up. I was told that my host would join me shortly. Biggest joke, she was MIA she never showed up. The floor was filled with dirty napkins and plate so I guess setting up means not cleaning the floors. Just nasty. Georgia decided to take over(God bless her heart) and be my host because still after 30 mins my host did not show up. A Ryan or Bryan showed up to take over my table and I told him that I was comfortable with Georgia. He looked over at me and waved his hand to tell me "hush/shut up". If he even knew what the devil was telling me to tell his ass but my son was there so mummy had to behave. I had a party here 3 years ago and it was great so this place has really gone to the dogs. You guys really need to work on your punctuality with your staff, being more organized. Last but not least your staff need training on being courteous. I would say the party was an EPIC fail on their side but Thank God my baby is not hard to please so just playing games was enough for him. I took my kids here today and was very disappointed. This was the first time I been back since they did away with the coins. Awhile ago we went and the games were different coin amounts, then they changed it to all games were only one coin each. We had a blast. Now today it was you pay for an amount of time. This is horrible. They don't even take the time to explain how it works or even how the pause the card feature works. The staff there all must be under 21 and I didn't see any of them that looked like they were a manager. This place is a dump - the girl with glasses was rude to both my wife and my 3 yo son. The only person whose was worse than the staff was the female manager-Tables were dirty the entire time and almost nobody was there. Trash on floors, staff texting while taking orders, even getting an apple juice seemed to annoy the staff. Ask a question and they huff and puff and sigh. Love our local Chuck E Cheese! Love that you can now choose the time amount you want to play. I spent only $12 and got 40 mins of unlimited play time which is perfect for an after school treat. Some games even pop out a coin to play the old fashion way. My daughter had an absolute blast and I could even play a few games too and not worry about spending her coins/points. We went after school during the week and it was not busy at all. I didn't put 5 stars because there wasn't a lot of staff available to help with check in or ticket exchange but it really wasn't that busy at that time so that's probably why.
