Different then most of the chuck e cheese's we've been to. It was clean, the people were very helpful/nice, and overall an enjoyable experience. We had our son's 4th birthday party there. We opted to not make an actual party reservation and just go. We found a long table that a worker said we could use until she had to actually use it - 2 hours! So we had our little party, the kids did what they wanted to do and it was just fine. So why am I missing one star?? Well, I'd only knock off 1/2 a star for this. I want to make a review for a birthday party I had here. I made it on a Sunday at 11am and probably the best time to avoided crowds! I enjoyed my sons party, there was not a long wait for food, the food was fresh, and it was clean. The host, the party helper and manager made it a pleasant experience for me, I had no trouble! My child had fun playing but we got a mild case of food poisoning from the pizza. The staff is unprofessional - they talk away while your standing there like you don't matter. The girl who brought me my pizza had her fingers in my pizza and I'm sure that had something to do with our FP. Would not go here ever again. Their restrooms were disgusting. Feces was in the toilets. The restroom flesh pressure was very low. No soap to wash your hands nor napkins to dry them. Anywhere that keep their restrooms like a gas station on the side of the road, keep their kitchen worst. Worse experience of my life. Booked a party for my sons first birthday. I got there early to set up (got no help doing so the girl stood there looking lost) and order extra food. 2 hours later (party almost over) my food never came though I periodically asked for it and kept being told it was on the way. The kids food that they brought was super cold and the drinks were watered down because they were brought early (yet they couldn't bring the food that I ordered smh) Once the party was over, still no food! Asked the manager (I believe her name was Tia- young black girl) she got very rude and told me just like I paid a deposit, others did too (what does that have to do with me not getting my food that was ordered well in advace!? I told her after all this time, I could have gotten back there and made it faster myself! It was on my bill, but never came to my table) they told me the kitchen was backed up (no excuse since the food was ordered 2 hours prior) then they had the nerve to call the police on my guests and I because they wants us to leave because she said someone threatened her. How could someone threaten you when you were not even at the table any more??? Lies! Yet all this and still, I haven't gotten my food. By this time its about 30 past party time so its been 3 hours since I ordered) and to top it off, once I got outside they had the nevrves to come get me and ask me to pay a tab! Are they serious? You ask a person to leave (escorted out by police at a party for a 1 year old in front of family and friends) after you did not do your job or render the service that was requested well in advance. Nice place for the kiddies, wasn't crowded, they could do a better job on the buffet, but it served its purpose. The pizza was a little dry, and the crust was hard, but what do expect from a buffet. We got our monies worth. Chuck-E didn't perform, but I'm guessing it's because of the time of day that we went, that they felt there was not a need. All in all, my boys had a great time. The games worked, and even when we had a challenge with a couple of games, the staff were really good about helping. Not the friendliest for a kids place, but still helpful. read more

SALAD BAR WAS THE WORST EVER !!! NUMBER ONE PAID $18 AND SOME change for 2 salads .. there was no lettuce left I had to waive someone down to refill it .. no eggs no cheese , no croutons, no lettuce .. when asked for refund the manager gave me a $5 bill lmao I was simply asking to please refill to enjoy my salad ... he said they didn't have any more cheese and put hard boiled eggs out for the salads ... Poor service. I notified the employee that the ice machine has mold growing around where the ice falls out. He told me that's the nite crew fault. He has nothing to do with it. After the Sam Houston Equestrian Center cancelled my child's party right when it was supposed to start, (see my review) Lincoln and the other employees at Chuck E Cheese were able to accommodate my entire crew of about 30 people in a pinch and make my daughters birthday a success. I can never thank them enough she had such a wonderful day even though it seemed as though it couldn't be salvaged! read more

Our pizza was decently burned on the bottom...but according to the manager it was the 'new' way they cook them now lol. And those bubble spots the come up from over cooking...yeah that's the way the cheese melts...also says the manager ;). So instead of replacing our large pizza, they gave us a personal size pizza to make things right. read more

I went today "weekday" with my brother and his 2 kids along with my daughter. We decided just to take the kids to play arcade games and not eat the pizza bc CEC lowered their quality in ingredients and now the pizza tastes like cardboard smothered with a little bit of tomato sauce and cheese...CEC pizza use to be one of my favorites and we only went there to escape the Tx heat. All the games looked so dirty and sticky like they've never been cleaned or wiped down. There where a lot of those token cups and the ticket plastic bags all over the floor and on 2 occasions saw 2 employees walk over and also kick the token cups and bags on the floor instead of picking it up. Only 2 of the ticket munchers where working and they had 10. I cannot believe how the restrooms smell...you barely put one foot into the restroom and you get hit in the face with the smell of urine....my brother said the men's restrooms where disgusting as well and both had sticky floors by urine. My brother even told one of the employees but I never saw him do anything about it. I've been going to CEC when it use to be called Showbiz Pizza in the early 90's and I've had my sons parties there sine he was 1 and he is now 15. There's a CEC by my house in Pasadena Tx and its been open for about 6 years and its always clean and the workers are always busting their butts including the manager but the pizza isn't all that either. The CEC in Pearland has only been open for less than 3 yrs noted by another Yelp review. I will never go to that CEC again and I doubt my brother will either...I just expected a little bit more from this CEC since it has $300,000-400,000 homes literally down the road:/ read more

Not customer service oriented at all. Was there at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday (to beat the crowd), the fire alarm went off just as we reached the register. We were told that the fire marshall was conducting a fire safety inspection. 45 minutes later we were told that no one knew where the reset button was located (so the entire operation was shut down untill approximately 11:30. Did you know that if you order a personal pizza for 5.99. (6 small slices) that it does come with cheese. You Must pay for extra cheese for .89. I said I did want extra cheese. They said that that is just to have cheese. Then when they bought it to me one slice had no cheese at all. I had them to correct that atleast. read more

Do not have your birthday party at Chuck E Cheese! They are money hungry and do not care about your child's special day. To start off, your child will share their celebration with several other kids at once, taking away from their special moment. On my daughter's birthday, they sat us a half hour late, confirmed our order 5 times and still got it wrong, brought the food out in the incorrect order, promised us a 1000 ticket voucher for sitting us late and gave it to someone else, tried to charge us and get us out of there before they had even brought out all the food and lastly did nothing to make amends for this disaster of a day. Even their regional manager Daniel Smoote was useless! He couldn't even get a local manager to call me to at least apologize. The place and bathrooms were pretty clean and had lots of small games and a playground for my little one. We had so much fun. The only thing is a fight broke out when we came on a Sunday but the staff was able to have them take it outside. Other than that, pizza was good. We will return.
