She was very focused on us as a group as well as being super flexible with a very tired 2 year old! She was one of the best servers I have had in a long time! There was a long line and they didn't know who to take care of next. I ordered a glass of wine and the cashier acted like he didn't know what wine was, and then said they were out of all wine. We asked a couple of questions he had no clue. We decided to just let our grandson play and not eat at that point. I downloaded the app to get 500 free tickets and when we got to the ticket counter, she said you had to do that at the front cashier which had a long line again. This is a nice Chuck E Cheese. Sure, it's still one of the last places a parent wants to spend their day, but overall it could be way worse. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. Only one game wasn't working, but that's not a huge deal. I like their new program where you buy time instead of tokens. You can put 30 minutes or more of game time on your kids game card and they can play as many games as they want in that amount of time. If you stop to eat you can pause your kids game timer so you aren't wasting minutes while eating pizza. Excellent idea! Tickets for prizes are still awarded from the games. My daughter normally racks up about 200 tickets in an hour. Nothing major, but enough to get a few small prizes from the counter. Chuck E Cheese comes out every 30 minutes or so and dances with the kids. He throws tickets at the end of the dance and the kids go wild. He'll also hangs around for photo ops. This location offers a "Sensory Friendly" playtime on Sunday mornings. The lights and sounds are all turned down to help kids with sensory issues. Very cool idea! I love that they are trying to accommodate all kids and families. We'd come back to this Chuck E Cheese for sure. Definitely one of the better ones in the area. read more

I haven't been to Chuck E Cheese in years. I had so many birthday parties here when I was younger and when I had children it seemed we were there every weekend, but my older sons had thankfully outgrown it. This year my now 4 year old asked to go for his birthday and I had to make it happen. We did a walk in party, I brought cake, balloons, and decorations and had no issue. I had coupons for pizza deals and play passes, and the cashier had no issue with me combining them. Service was great. The play passes are actually a good idea, 1 hour unlimited play is plenty for anyone, by the last 20 minutes I was hoping it'd run out soon; and you can pause the card once to go eat. The pizza quality wasn't as bad as I remember as a child. It was a fun time. read more

It's Chuck Cheese the place your kids dream of going to and the place you dread. You dread because the games cost money, there are tons of kids, and you come home with a pocket full of spider rings. You know these stories and you lived them. Hell you might have been one of those parents to host a birthday party here that made us other parents walk into this hell hole. The time to be here is a weeknight at 6pm! Very few other people are there and you can get your food in reasonable amount of time. Try the sweet chili boneless wings - surprisingly good! The pizza is better than I remembered - nothing special, but decent. The games are mostly in working in order and you can get something with most amounts of tickets. (My kid says "I love the Marshmallow Ride!") Who doesn't need lip gloss in the shape of a mouse!? Their website usually has coupons, so that makes it a more affordable (and they have beer if you happen to be there with a mass of humanity.) read more

I've been doing the Chuck E. Cheese thing for decades. In fact, I go back to the days when their pizza tasted worse than a cardboard box, and when no one checked to make sure you left with the same kid you came in with. Some things have not changed a bit. It's still noisy and there are still tons of kids everywhere, racing from one fun attraction to the next. The pizza is definitely better, however. In fact, it's actually not bad. You can also get semi-healthy things like salads. I like this Chuck E. Cheese because it seems a bit better lit than some. Also, after the remodel, there are more open spaces. In the old days, it was downright claustrophobic to enter Chuck E's world - very dark, and attractions covering about every inch of the floor space. One of the things I DIDN'T notice at this location was that big ball pit of days yore. Are those a thing of the past? They never seemed very sanitary to me so I'm certainly not lamenting their demise. So, bottom line - my two little granddaughters loved their mid-day visit to Chuck E. Cheese. They wolfed down their pizza and then had a blast. I love that there is an area suitable for the littler kids, as this is where my two were able to have the most fun. Shout out to Chuck E. for coming out and dancing with the kids on a very nicely appointed wood dance floor. My two thought they died and went to heaven when the Big Mouse started throwing tickets their way. The three old got it and grabbed with gusto, while the 20 month old thought she had to give hers back to Chuck E. I can't not write about appreciating that management is more aware of the need to monitor who leaves with kids. When my own were young, that was one of my biggest nightmares - three kids to monitor, each running a different direction, and the possibility of one getting away from me and snatched up by a predator. Who would've noticed one screaming kid not wanting to leave in the midst of all that noise and bedlam? Too bad we live in a world where we can't trust even a place like Chuck E. Cheese to be safe for our kids but kudos to people that stay on top of safety issues. read more

Kids love it. Adults tolerate it because they have beer and wine. Bad food is probably Chuck E Cheese's secret weapon to keep out the creepers. Nobody would go there unless they were dragged-in by their kids. The sign on the wall says the pizza is fresh, but it tastes and looks like a pizza from the freezer. The salad bar looks good, but I didn't try it because kids are shorter than the sneeze guard. Weeknights are a good time to go. This location was clean and staff was quite friendly. I'm not sure how they can stay friendly or sane after hearing the same Chuck E Cheese tunes repeat every hour. read more

It was fun but the facility was dirty. For example there were dirty napkins / paper towels on the floor throughout. The men's bathroom wasn't very clean. The system for getting your tickets converted into points is extremely inefficient and time consuming. At least two of the games I noticed were out of order. read more

The past few times I've visited the staff is not helpful. They completely messed up my nieces birthday party by forgetting their pizza orders and not ever delivering the pizza until the whole party had kids begging for food. Also poor service other visits. And now here and there is food & trash under all the tables and tables are dirty with food residues on them and once again poor service and food order of 2 pizzas and wings messed up and forgotten. You don't go to Chuck E Cheese for the pizza so I don't know why everyone harps on the quality. It's fine pizza, better than some frozen ones I've had in my life! The hot wings are worse than frozen, however. The salad bar has very few ingredients but what they had was fresh and good except for the beets...they tasted like fresh cut grass. I've always had friendly high quality service there. They want to make sure you and your kids have a good time. The real reason you go to Check E Cheese is to see your childrens' faces light up when they win a game and then get to pick out a trinket they treat like a treasure. They EARNED that spider ring and they are gonna rock it with their Yo Gabba Gabba shirt all night long! Oh yea! They now have Pepsi products instead of Coke. Woot Woot! I love that! I also love that I get to play skee ball and win a bunch of tickets, because I rock that miniaturized version. Saturdays are not for the faint of heart. Only go on a weekend if you absolutely have no other choice. A weeknight is the best time to go. You can actually hear yourself talk, and your kids can hear you too. Way understaffed. You'll have a great time until you need anything from an employee. The place looks in disrepair. At one point, 2 families were waiting to leave and couldn't for 7min, no buffet plates while customers were lined up. Long lines at toy counter and entrance. Chuck E missed his announced appearance. Most of the ticket munching machines were not working. All of this was at 2pm. Management really dropping the ball here. They are likely to lose the few employees willing to work under these conditions. read more

Let's get it straight: this place is not for adults. If the kids are happy and want to go, the adults will take them. I've had birthday parties here (as both parent and guest) and just visited for individual playtime. Location has plenty of parking, staff is always friendly. If you go too early in the morning on a weekday (around 10ish), you'll find that many games are under routine maintenance, so play will be limited. But during busier hours, I would say an average number are out of order. Don't eat here. Go to a decent restaurant and then treat your kids to CEC afterward. read more

We took our Grand Daughter there yesterday and ordered a Medium Pepperoni Pizza and the pizza wasn't cut all the way through and our Grand Daughter who is 4 took napkins to soak up all the grease from the top of the pizza. Trying to cut through the rest of the crust with a plastic knife wasn't doing the trick either so I was trying to pull it apart and that wasn't happening. We use to take our boys when they were young and it was so much better then. There was at least 20 tables that still had left over pizza and trash on them and employees walking by and not bothering to clean up. We just found the place to be to dirty. read more

2/19/17, we went to Chuck E Cheese at 9196 N Skyview Ave, Kansas City, MO 64154, for a fun birthday outing with our grandkids. However, after spending $100 for food and some tokens (which, by the way are now a "card" they give you) we are livid. We had just gotten our pizzas/pop/had some tickets from games on the table/cell phones etc., and my husband sat down and the table BROKE!!!! It just fell HARD to the side he was sitting on. Pop, pizza, tickets, phones all went flying into that side of the booth. It was a very heavy table and when it flipped, it hit my wrist on the way over (it happened SO fast), which I thought was broken. It instantly swelled up and turned red and STILL hurts. We FINALLY found a manager, after we'd cleaned most of it up ourselves. And to our HORROR, he didn't apologize or offer to COMP our FOOD or even through a few tokens at us.... he just kept saying, "Well, I'm not surprised, these table are REALLY old. I'm surprised they don't all break." REALLY? You're NOT SURPRISED??? I was SO ANGRY!!!! LUCKILY, my grandkids were off playing games when it happened. As heavy as that table was, if it had fallen on them, it would of broken their LEGS or if they were sitting on the side with me, the table could have hit them in the jaw and BROKE IT!!! OR if there was a BABY laying on the other side, who knows what would have happened to it and ALL YOU CAN SAY IS.......... I'M NOT SURPRISED!!!! Well, they came and switched out that table as fast as they could (so nobody else there could see it). Had I been thinking, I should of taken a picture of it and my wrist. I was just thankful my grandkids weren't hurt. SO, $100, soggy food and tickets and a sore wrist later, it was the worst outing we've ever had. I mentioned to the manager that they needed to check ALL the tables. But he could of cared less. I guess it's TOO much money to secure the SAFETY of the CHILDREN.
