Me and my family went to the Macon Road location for my sister's birthday. We had a terrible experience; my sister is scared of the mascot and was crying because she didn't want to go in the building (only five years old.) She didn't mess anything up , just crying outside the building. I was waiting next to the door while my mom tried to get her in the building but I over heard the employees talking about her weight and etc. Once my mom got her in the building (not crying) she was okay. During the party no one helped, served, or checked on us. The food was terrible--Which is not usual for this location. The pepperoni on the pizza tasted raw and both pizzas were thin with nothing inside. When an employee brought dip in dots she had a face like she didn't want to do it. Then she walked over to a different table and proceeded to talk about us on the phone with the same face. She tried to act nice when talking to us but we knew she was talking about us on the phone. It felt very uncomfortable and unenjoyable. We shouldn't have to feel this way on a five year olds birthday. Overall service, food, ambiance, and enjoyment was terrible. read more

Customer Service: Excellent! The manager, Toni, was SO sweet. She interacted with so many of the kiddos and you could tell she really wanted everyone to have a great time. If anything needed attention, she addressed it quickly either herself or made sure staff addressed it. Food: We got cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, and the cookie. Everything was really good and we had enough to take home. Entertainment: The games don't give a ton of tickets per play, but they also don't use a ton of points (or you can get a card for a certain number of minutes - which is the BEST deal!). Several games have been updated, but they are definitely still geared mostly towards kids (though adults can have fun with them as well). They have a new trampoline thing, which is priced separately than the arcade stuff. It's nice for little kids, the only drawback is if bigger kids jump with toddlers OR sick kids jumping and running into other kids (the sick kids are playing games too, but this is person to person contact versus touching a game then another touches the game after). Chuck E. Cheese came out to do the dance and take pictures. Whomever was playing him did a great job, walked around to see any kids at tables or playing games. Prizes: The prizes are kid friendly, and I don't think they're outrageously priced. They do allow you to buy tickets to get to another level, which is a nice option. Cleanliness: The tables and trash areas were clean. The only place I think could use some TOC is the drink area (specifically where you get straws. I would definitely prefer to see individually wrapped straws and hand sanitizer stations (especially at the salad bar, trampoline area, and drink station). read more

So, we go to Chuck E. Cheese store #869 in Columbus, GA for lunch w/ the boys on a very packed MLK Day w/ everyone off work. The poor staff was hopping, but were having trouble keeping the buffet going. I was fine b/c I had buffalo wings ala carte, but the buffet was closing down & my poor 2 sons only had eaten 1 slice each, so I was in line 15 min for the last pizza coming out. The mom & son ahead of me greedily grabbed the last pizza quickly & took it all (4 slices ea) despite looking at me directly when I asked them for 2 slices of the 8 to give my boys each a slice (for them, not me). They completely disregarded me. The awesome manager pictured below said, "Sir, I will make a whole pizza just for your boys & deliver it to you personally." On my way out the door, I thanked him & said, "You have proven on a crazy busy MLK Day that good customer service & kindness is not dead. Your courteous store makes me want to repeat business here. Dr. King would be proud of the 'content of your character.'" I informed him I would 5 star rank his store on Yelp...and I did along w/ Facebook & Twitter too. read more

The pizza was good but there was only one girl working during lunchtime. She was doing her best, but there's no way 1 person is enough during lunch. A second uniformed employee walked out with a Steak and Shake bag, stood there eating for a minute, saw the lines and went back in the back- never to appear again. It was a nice get out of the house afternoon for our family of 5. My kids 13, 9, & 5 all love it here. Heck us adults do to. The pizza was yummy. Stay clear of the sweet tea though! I've always thought it was pricey however I knew that walking in & it was worth it to have a break from our reality. I was trying to decide to leave 3 or 4 stars. I am going to go with three based off the interaction we experienced with an employee. As I was ordering I was cut off when asking a question and also not given any suggestions when I asked another. Once we were done the same employee assisted us with our kids prizes. I was at the counter asking my spouse if he had a receipt so I could add it to my rewards account & he count find it. I paid & did not recall ever getting one & this lady was right there with us. I ended up asking another employee if there was a way to pull up a receipt so I could get the rewards so when she walked to the register to assist me the lady who checked me out walked over without ever being spoken to and got the receipt from a pile. She then put her hands up & said "I tried to give it to you but you just turned around and walked off from me". The girl willing to help me may have been a manager because she had a black shirt on but she didn't seem phased by the comment. Once away I asked my husband if he had heard & he said yes. She was the same way to them & not to take it personal. Its really hard to go somewhere over priced & receive that treatment like we are a bother. Also, you may never know what someone is going thru and we came here to get our minds off our current situation and have some happy time with our kids. No matter the day you are having that has to be left at the door or you are in the wrong line of business & I hope this is changed prior to the birthday party we are planning this summer. The only other things were a lot of games weren't working or the card was so hard to get to read. Then I could never get my rewards to work in the app when trying to add from my receipt. Went here for the first time with my littles recently and thought it was nice and clean and pretty well maintained. We went during a weekday morning so definitely wasn't busy, which we preferred. Most of the games and rides work and a few didn't. My kids enjoyed themselves and food was pretty decent but also pretty pricey. read more

Parents Beware! This was the worst Chuck E Cheese I have EVER been to. The Service was horrible. At least 7 games we attempted to play were broken. We waited for an attendant and he never came. Finally after complaining at the front desk someone gave me two tokens. After I spent all this money on tokens and I can only get two tokens??? All of the Skeeball machines were messed up with the exception of 2 and one of them didnt give out any tickets. The whole night I only encountered 1 pleasantly nice employee. She was working primarily on the cash register but was often leaving the desk to help kids cash in their tickets. Everyone else had a nonchalant attitude or just didn't engage the customers. What really pushed me over the edge was when I took my little ones to the restroom and all the stalls were nasty, there was no soap and no hand sanitizer. All the dispensers were empty. Gross! It makes me wonder if the employees are washing their hands. This was a weeknight and there weren't even that many people there. I can only imagine how nasty it is on the weekend. As we got ready to leave, the door attendant told us to HOLD ON. She ran off to do something else. I was so upset that my husband insisted we just leave. The attendant came running after us trying to check our stamps but we were already out of there. This location is understaffed and he management is not the most pleasant that Ive ever experienced. Whelp, should have listened to the other yelpers But my daughter wanted her party there and I didn't want to drive to Atlanta. I contacted chuckee cheese via Facebook because didn't have local number. I visited on December 17th stayed from 12-5. My original complaint on why I was contacting was to complain on a lot of games not working. Fast forward it's the next day and I discover my coat is missing bc I was being a hostess when packing up party thought my bf grabbed my coat. The game room is significantly larger than the location i usually go to in Buford. All the games appeared to b working properly but sum had broken seat belts which meant my 1 yr old couldnt ride them. The ice cream machine was broke, one of the ticket counting machines was broke. They were sold out of bone in and boneless wings. We got there shortly b4 4 and Chuck E did not come out at 430. In fact we didn't see him the whole time we were there and we left at 630pm.. We had my son's 8th birthday at this location this past weekend. I just wanted to give a BIG thank you to Kendranetta for being so patient and attentive during my son's party. Everything was on time, prompt, and I didn't have to ask her to do anything, she already knew and took care of everything. The Columbus GA location needs to truly be shut down. This business is beyond dysfunctional and disgusting. I witnessed a guy sweeping the floor and gathering the trash and making pizza at the same time. I watched him as I was waiting in line and at no point did he wash his hands. The team members are very inexperienced with families and respecting elders. The salad bar's food looks filled with bacteria and that everything is recycled. I sat in line for nearly 20 mins, while other team members sat in the sidelines joking, played on their phones and were not being attentive. NONE of the machines worked. I asked the manager who appeared to be pregnant if I could get assistance with the games on the floor and she literally told me to look for the girl on the floor with the black headband. WTF. So because I was with my child and out of respect I let it go. I tried to have a good time but literally none of the games worked, either the machine didn't work at all or the tickets did not disperse. I purchased a beverage for my little and the machines only disperse soda and the other one didn't work at all. I was told to drink a soda. I have a toddler and he doesn't drink those. This place is not clean, the staff is childish (LITERALLY), and the service is pitiful. Please save yourself some money and a visit to the ER! read more
