The food is great and the staff are all very friendly, I have always loved bowling with my family and this place feels like the good old days when I was a kid with how it is set-up. The music selection is enjoyable! The arcade selection is somewhat small, and I miss when arcades always had DDR but I can't complain too much as this is not a Bowlero exclusive problem. I've never felt more uncomfortable or disappointed at a business than I did at Bowlero in Columbus, GA -- particularly due to the behavior of the general manager. There is a clear double standard in how guests are treated based on race. I personally observed white patrons being allowed to bowl for free while others -- especially people of color -- were charged inflated rates for the exact same services. Even worse, some of the most dedicated employees are being accused of theft when all they're doing is following the general manager's own instructions. These accusations feel targeted and retaliatory, and it creates a toxic work environment for people who are just trying to do their jobs. There have also been repeated concerns and observations of inappropriate behavior by this manager toward younger female staff members, under the excuse of "management training." It's disturbing and unacceptable in a family-friendly business. This location needs immediate oversight and accountability. Until that happens, I won't be back -- and I strongly encourage others to think twice before supporting a business where fairness and professionalism seem optional. If you are a person that is non white please steer clear and please don't think of working for this company. Give you blood, sweat and tears and they will acuse you of theft by following what the general manager does. read more

The worst service I have ever seen. The ladies waiting on the tables smelled like they have taken a bath in weed. Not 1 but several. We were with a church group and didnt appreciate the smell. The balls were greasy and not clean and so as the ally some the lanes looked ragged and warped Which caused us a bad experience and people do not pick up after them selfs the service though isn't bad in fact it's good. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. We had to move lanes THREE times due to warped lanes, malfunctioning ball returns, and disappearing pins. Nachos were questionable at best. Hot dog was nearly a slim Jim. Absolutely disgusting. However, the staff was friendly. They get the one star. read more

I'm from NJ, and I was visiting family in Columbus, GA. I bought two Groupons ahead if my trip. One was for two rounds of Laser tag for two, and a bonus $10 arcade card. The guy who helped my son and me was friendly and funny and extremely helpful. His name was Keshan. (I think I'm spelling it wrong, sorry). My son is 7 and the laser tag was fun for both him and me. The next day, we used the other Groupon. This one was for bowling for two people with shoe rental included. We had the lane for Two hours. By the time we were done, Keshan was there, again. He was friendly and made my son feel important by remembering him with a high five. We had a lot of fun, here. read more

Bowling alleys should have adequate capacity, good equipment, good service and some decent snacks. When we we went here, it was a mixed bag. Shoes were limited. Everyone had to make due with wrong sizes. I asked for a size 11, and they gave me one size 11.5 and the other was a different shoe style and size 12. We had some new bowlers so we put up the bumpers. The bumpers were damaged such that one short section would not raise up, thereby allowing balls to get into the gutter. The snack menu was interesting, but the bar was not manned when we approached, so we didn't order anything. On the positive side the lanes are in good shape, they have adequate inventory of balls to select from, and the scoring screen works well. Bowling alleys are usually low budget, so nothing was a big surprise. I've been told this is the best spot for bowling in the city, so when I get the urge to bowl again, I'll probably still pick this site. read more

Update** i am updating my review to 3 stars for the reason that management quickly reached out to me to see if they could resolve the issue for the future. After our conversation, i would consider going back for another try. I don't even know what to say. We only came here because our first choice was booked out for a party, so we figured oh well, bowling is bowling. The whole experience was just bad. To begin, we walked in and were the first people in the check in line. There was only 1 person working the counter and she was having to manage the check out and service portion of the counter, the check in counter, and trying to get people drinks from the bar counter area. I felt bad for her being alone. So as we are waiting, the line is piling up behind us as well as on the other side. Another person finally comes to the counter and completely ignores the line of now around 10 people waiting just to check in. After around 20 minutes or more, she finally gets to our line. Please keep in mind, there were lanes available, just no one to check people in and assign said lanes. Next, we wanted to get a snack and some drink. Not one person was working at either of the bar areas, so you guessed it, we had to wait in the counter line again. Finally ordered pretzel sticks and a pitcher of water. This took an entire game to receive. I am certain the pretzels are just heated in the microwave and water takes like 1 minute. I was trying not to be mad because the kitchen guy i could see appeared to be working as fast as he could. Finally, we go to check out and again the lines are piling up on all sides of the counter. The check in, the game side, the check out, etc. The two people working the counter appeared to be in no rush to get through the lines of people and were even taking care of customers who walked up to the counter outside of the line. To check out, we waited at least 20 more minutes. The lady in front of us had been waiting even longer to order food. In that time, we so heard people complaining how three of their group's lanes were broken. Luckily we didn't have an issue with our lane, but that was about the only part. I believe the staff was trying, but it was absolutely horrible. By the time we left, i was actually laughing out loud at how awful it was and the amount of people backed on all sides of the counter. I actually felt a little bit bad. I tried to be calm and not get upset because they were trying, but holy cow. Not a great experience and definitely confirmed why we don't chose this place to begin with even though it is closer to us. Probably would not go back unless they had more employees. We counted 5 total. 3 counter, 2 kitchen, and 1 working on lanes... with a bowling alley full of people and a birthday party or two. Poor planning. read more

This place is overpriced and understaffed. We played 2 games of bowling and then decided to try out the arcade. We wanted to play pool, so we went to ask for the equipment. There were only 2 people working, and there was a crowd of people. When we finally got to the front, neither one of the men were very helpful or polite. Long story short, we decided it was not worth waiting on them for help. We decided to play something else,but that ended up being a huge rip off. We spent $5 for 8 tokens (the machine took 2 tokens from us as an extra charge) and we only played 1 (2-player) game. Here's a tip: when looking for a bowling alley to go to, just go to AMF. Very clean and well maintained! Probably the cleanest bowling alley I've ever been to. They have two bars - one on each side. They have two small pool tables. They also have a mini arcade with a pretty good game selection. The arcade was also really clean! The place is big so despite the league going on (Monday night), it didn't seem too busy. Food was decent. We got fully loaded French fries. Courtney at the cashier/desk was very friendly and helpful! This place is great for family time! Only reason for four stars is the fact that they were lacking on staff. The floor waitress forgot about my order and both bars weren't attended. But then again, it was a Monday. read more

This place is a "higher end" bowling alley. You can actually get legit food here and they have a pretty decent bar as well. I have to admit, it is a little more expensive than your typical hole-in-the-wall bowling alley, but it's probably a little better for date night due to the atmosphere. They also have a pretty kick-ass arcade if you're into that. It's no Dave & Buster's, but combined with the bowling, bar, and food, it's makes for a pretty decent evening. I'll be back! read more

Absolutely terrible experience..we ordered food at 9:03, played 2 games and still didn't have it at 9:57. Manager refunded the cost of the food but we never received it - apparently quite a few other people had the same problem. We asked twice as well and were told both times that it would be 10 minutes, but 30 minutes later and still nothing. Short story: go for the discount bowling on Sunday if you want, but don't stay for the overpriced food and awful service. read more
