So this may be an unpopular opinion, but I think Chuck E. Cheese has some of the best pizza. Let's face it, Shreveport Bossier lacks good pizza. I don't like the environment. Who wants to eat with a large mouse singing and kids screaming all over the place?! Not me. So we order it to go. They're always confused as apparently not many people order to go. It usually takes some time to explain what a to-go order is, but they can do it. I LOVE their pepperoni pizza! It's the perfect combination of crust, savory sauce, melted cheese goodness. We also like the cheesy bread. So if you want a good pizza pie and want to avoid the environment, just get it to-go. It's our favorite for take out pizza!

First stop at Chuck E Cheese with grandson. The floor is large and very well layed out. My visit day was not overly crowded. i saw workers on the floor moving around being available. the wings and the personal pizza both taste good but the 5 star prices are ridiculous. way way to expensive. $12 for 6 wings and $8 for 6 inch pizza. no indeed. i grandson had a blast. this outing will be once or twice a year.

Yes, it's bigger than the last location In Bossier but you would think its games would all be functioning well. No, they don't all work. The Skee ball game is supposed to have 9 balls with each game but you may only get 5. I asked one of the young boys that walks around here, who works on them and he said that since they've gotten lost that each game only comes with 5. Well that's barely over half of what we SHOULD get for our token we paid for. I put a token in another and didn't get any balls!!!!! We played a game where 2 people can play and only one side worked. I asked again about this game and was told it's been messed up most of the day today and I asked why don't they put tape over it or a sign? Duh! This is the first time at this new location and I was disappointed that we had so many problems with the games. I gave 2 stars because the food was good and hot and came out quickly and we were able to get a table with all of the people that were here today. And because the kids really had fun! If you are in need of coupons you can go to their website to print some. They also have chore charts and charts for them losing their teeth and a behavior chart you can fill out for them to bring in for free tokens on your visit.

Fun ! When the games actually work and you don't have to hunt down an employee to get token back.

But table seating was available. After taking a couple minutes to decide. I chose the shrimp poboy. It was delivered at 12:05, with the tails on. Before I could eat, I had to pull them off. It was fantastic. So I guess I'll be okay. By 12:20 I was cashing out lunch for one $20. They issued a 20% discount for my military id.

When in Shreveport on a Monday, your dining options are...limited (unless you fancy a casino…read moredinner, which we did not). So, we ended up here--the only place open that wasn't serving up blackjack with a side of fries. First up: water. Now, if you've never had Louisiana tap water, let me tell you--it tastes like someone steeped a bag of potting soil in it for 12 hours. I was about to blame this restaurant until a little Google dive informed me that most of Louisiana water just tastes like this due to geosmin and MIB (algae bloom byproducts, apparently). Fun fact that nobody asked for, but here we are. Anyway, we pivoted HARD to cocktails. I ordered a Belvedere martini, which was well-made by Dustin but oddly expensive considering this wasn't exactly a swanky downtown hotspot. For dinner: Hubbs went for shrimp fettuccine, and while it was fine, it didn't exactly make us want to write home about it. I, on the other hand, ordered Natchitoches meat pies, thinking they'd be the real deal imported from the famous place there. Oh, how naive I was. Instead, they were sad little impostors, baked instead of fried, and just...meh. Final bill: almost $100 for four drinks and two average entrées. If we're dropping that kinda cash, I'd prefer a meal that didn't require an emergency cocktail switch just to recover from the water.
