Plus we are going international, this is stop number two of two. Atmosphere - Take a step into a Mexican restaurant. The colors pop in this frozen treat palace. Large display freezers line the south side of the place. Drooling over all the treats, labeled in Spanish with a smaller font in English. The font was still large enough for this old guy. Food - I have been wanting to try a Paletas for a long time. It was worth the wait and I will be trying more in my future. I had the gooseberry, I do love berries and this one did not disappoint. I did eat it a little to fast and caused a brain freeze to occur. Service - I was greeted in Spanish. I had no clue what she said, but I responded in English, and after that we were good. We were the only ones in the place that was speaking English. The staff was very patient with us, as it was the first time here and there are so many choices. Future - Everyone loved their treats. So I could see coming back here again.

We checked the menu out and honestly everything looked amazing, we sat down they took our order She got the carne asada torta and I got the chicken floutas rice and beans. What I loved was that they had the window where you can see them cooking, taking the orders and I like that because you could see how fast and proficient they are but not only that they were super clean and it was like they were all working so great together synchronized! Our waitress Giselle was so sweet and helpful. We ordered tacos and gringas. I got the carne asada taco on flour and we shared the pastor gringas. While this place is known for the pastor, the carne asada was also really good. Flavorful, tender, and juicy without any gristly bits. And the flour tortilla was excellent! Thin and crispy but not hard. The tacos come with cilantro and onion, and then you can add red hot sauce or green guac sauce (or both!). Both are delicious! The gringas here are more like caramelos (to me at least!) and quite large. We got these (an order is 2) with the pastor of course! We liked everything but I would go more for tacos in summer. The gringas are heavier and feel more like winter food for me. But definitely a great choice especially if you're really really hungry! When you're done, you go up to the cashier at front and let them know your table number which is on the wall above your table. This was excellent food at great prices with very friendly service.
