I'm happy to say that was not the case with this tour. It was fun and entertaining and we even got to be part of the musical entertainment, which by the way, was fabulous. The majority of the tour focused on the Million Dollar Quartet which is a great story with some really great tunes!! There's some local history sprinkled throughout the tour as well. We were in Memphis on a 95 degree day so a cool bus was not a bad thing. This tour offers the option of going to Sun Studio as well, and we opted for that package. It was nice to get dropped off and picked up at the door and not have to worry about parking. I would recommend this tour too anyone who wants a good overview of Memphis and especially to those who love good old Rock and Roll music!!

I found Historical Haunts on Yelp and proceeded to check out their website hoping that a couple of spots are still available when we get in to town. They offer different types of tours. They have a walking tour, bus tour, a tour and haunting at one old house, a pub crawl which visits a few very old establishments. We luckily get in for their bus tour. It was perfect because there's scattered showers predicted and this is the best way to go around town without getting soaked. Our guide is very knowledgeable, and really played the part. She was even wearing a Victorian costume. If you are a history nerd and would like to hear some of those through this tours, this is definitely the best tours you'll find.

There is great potential for this space, but the lighting was so harsh, it drowned out the beauty of the Mississippi River and the mosquitoes sent us back inside. The menu prices are very reasonable, but be prepared to pay for parking (you can get a small discount by validating your parking ticket inside the restaurant). Keeping my fingers crossed on this one! I will definitely try BSL again because Robbie was so professional. Perhaps, I will add more stars, if BSL irons out the wrinkles.

Or do you just want to relax and enjoy?" Love how all the carriages have an accompanying dog. And I could only think of my Disney princess loving nieces when seeing the "Cinderella" carriages. Sure, it's a touristy thing to do, but some times you need a break from beer and ribs. Tip: these aren't smooth rides. If you're bringing a beer on board, keep it far enough away so it doesn't slosh on you.

He took us to all the Elvis spots in Tupelo and provided a ton of 'insider' information. We had lunch in the Elvis booth at Johnnie's Drive In and even tried the dough burger. Tupelo Hardware was the highlight of the trip for my mother because she could talk about Elvis for hours and the hardware store was her happy place.
