First time here, placing to be clean staff was nice and friendly. Drinks weren't bad. We definitely come here and try it again.

Will probably not be coming back, with expensive mead and subpar comedians for a D&D night.

Amazing variety of mead with cool bartender. They got board games so it made the date night that much more fun.

Great service, amazing mead and passionate staff that is happy to explain the process, flavors, etc. fun environment, great here are places to plug in Nintindo Switch and play games, they have puzzles and board games and cards to play. The mead is very flavorful and delicious, always something fun to try. I love brining friends here, spacious and we meet lots of cool people. Prices are reasonable, they do a lot of fun events too like Sunday drag shows 1x a month

Fun place! Great customer service! Love the cool retro game vibe in here. Got a flight! Didn't disappoint at all! You have to try "freckles" best alcohol strawberry lemonade taste! So amazing 10/10 Don't miss out on the events they have either! Must try!!

We are always looking for something different and unique, in a sea of wineries. So we decided to try a meadery, we tried batch mead but everything was too sweet , thankfully we decided to try chubby cheeks! The lady who owns the place, is friendly and knows how to treat her customers. It's a fun place, pretentious wine snobs need not apply! They sell mead and ciders, and they play with different flavors, like one tasted like a bloody Mary, and an old fashioned They even have drag event and they have huge TV for gamers.

Super friendly service and AMZING MEAD! Shannon was simply amazing and so knowledgeable! You can tell the staff is very passionate. We got a flight during their happy hour and played some of the many board games available. Absolutely amazing vibe! Will be back

We went here for the first time today and bought a flight of 5 different drinks. You can choose from mead and hard cider! The chai mead was so good and so was the blueberry cider! Service was great!! Our kids loved all the things to look at. We will be coming back! Thank you.

Walk in by mistake looking for another place....GLAD I DID! Me and the Mrs loved our experience. Not really into mead but this was fantastic. Found some favorites we love! This place has a good selection of meads, ciders, board games, a place to plug in your Nintendo switch. It's kid friendly. Cheap prices on snack things and candy and the flights are super affordable. The Mead here is definitely not as aggressive as your typical mead.

    Flight of awesome meads.

Finally made it in. Had their meads before at several festivals. They always seem to have some fun flavors. If you only judge mead on clarity this might not be the best place for you. But they certainly have some interesting meads. I especially liked the old fashioned and ended up buying a couple bottles. Typical breweryish atmosphere. Wood tables and atmosphere was very relaxed. I will visit this place again.

A bunch of good ass mead

I personally like mead more than wine, and upon my visit to Temecula, I was excited to be able to try this place! We came in during a lull, and the owner Derek was there to personally serve us. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly an excellent maker of mead. He even has a variety of fun events you can sign up for like Viking nights where they have axe throwing and turkey legs, as well as Mead-Making classes with the man himself. We went with two of the flights: the new seasonal flavors and the classics. I was a big fan of the seasonal flavors, they were sweet and crisp, and the different fruit flavors really shone through. I liked the Thor's Courage the best of the classics flight, it was a sparkling mead that tasted the most like just classic honey mead. We asked for a recommendation based on our likes, and he offered us a glass of the Golden Butter Bee Mead, and it tasted as good as it sounded. It kinda was what I think Butterbeer should taste like. We ended up taking a bottle home. He also shared with us that he started his company in 2019, right before the pandemic, and he was able to survive by using his own truck to deliver mead all over the country. If that isn't a testament to his dedication to the craft and the quality of the mead, I'm not sure what is. Will definitely be back when I'm by Temecula, and I want to try to make one of the events sometime soon!

I could not have been more happy to have had the chance to come here! Derek is extremely friendly, and Batch Mead hosts multiple monthly events from their viking nights to their mead making courses; he is so incredibly knowledgeable in his craft, it is delightful to just sit and take the time to listen to him talk about his passion. Built into an industrial park (like many breweries today), the decor was incredibly tasteful and I really appreciated what he was able to do with the space to make it warm and welcoming, down to the glasses he used to serve the drinks. Now to the Mead itself, we ordered two taster flights as well as a glass of the Golden Butter Mead. To sum up my feelings about the entire ensemble, absolute perfection! Of all the mead I have had (which is a surprisingly large amount), Batch Mead blew my mind. If I was ever to try and describe what good mead should be, Derek's would be what I was describing to a tea. They ranged from semi-sweet to very sweet, but were all absolutely amazing and worth the drive up to Temecula alone. I will not only be returning, but this will likely become a staple in my drinking rotation!

He took us on this deep dive into the history of mead and alcohol that turned what could've been a simple night out into something way more meaningful. It honestly felt like a full sensory experience. We didn't go there just to drink, Spencer reminded us that it's about appreciating the flavors, the craft, and the story behind each pour. And while I'll admit... I definitely got a little tipsy ... it was one of those perfect nights where everything just clicks -- great conversation, amazing company, and outstanding service. Also, the options?! So many good ones it was hard to choose, but a couple standouts for me were the Huck Yu and the Blueberry Crepe mead, absolutely delicious. I'm already planning my next visit. The staffs are very friendly and efficient. Now the highlight, I absolutely love the drinks. I have a little kids tastebuds when it comes to alcohol, so I loved all the sweet options. Of the one we tried this time, my favorite were the Post Watermalone and the T.L.C. They taste like juice, which is what I prefer. They have a wide selection that offer different tastes for everyone. Besides the fresh on tap drinks, they also have the 16-oz can for take home. Personally, I love their drinks and would definitely come back occasionally, since it's a bit of a drive for me.
