Super tasty and fresh sushi in the Delray Area! My friend and I came in here for a fab sushi dinner to celebrate my birthday. For starters, our server was really sweet and friendly; she also recommended several tasty cocktails. I had one of the high balls (second from the top on the list) and my friend had this lychee spritz cocktail - both were delicious. After ordering, we got to select our own chopsticks to use with our meal. We had the trio toro sushi, the tri-scallop roll, pieces of o toro and scallop sushi, the chubby maki roll, the linux roll, and scallop tobiko rolls. Everything came out truly fresh and tasty - I would recommend all of the dishes we had to be honest. We then also had the mango popsicle as a birthday dessert. The decor was adorable as well, and they had cute cat merch as well. Definitely would recommend stopping by if you can! We will definitely come back!

Amazing find! Was just passing by and saw the sign for Friday & Saturday late night happy hour so we had to try it! Not only was the food great but so was the service and the vibe! We sat outside in what looked like a rose garden. The dishes were also so adorable! Will definitely be back!

Really enjoyed the food. All the wagyu dishes were cooked perfectly. Wagyu sando was fire. Gyoza had the perfect crisp. The restaurant has beautiful decor. Service was quick, friendly, and helpful . Kimchi Caesar was lovely

This review is for the DIY sushi making class. A friend and I went today and let me say, it was amazing! It was worth it for the price as well. You get an appetizer of gyozas, choice of beverage (sake or bottomless mimosas), and then you choose three different fish to begin making your sushi rolls. You get all of the makings you need to customize your rolls. It was a fun experience and then of course getting to eat your creation afterwards. You can take whatever you can't finish with you and they give you a cute insulated bag with a ceramic soy sauce holder and post card. The service was excellent and everything tasted fresh. We're looking forward to coming back for a meal!

We came here for a Dumpling making brunch and had so much fun! The restaurant itself was beautiful! Decor and small details even at the table were top notch. It was bottomless mimosas or sake and your glass was never empty..She was always there topping you off! We started with pork belly Caesars salad, which was tasty then went on to making our own dumplings. The instructor showed everyone up close and was around when we needed him and definitely helped everyone "start off" cooking our dumplings but the mimosas took over and he just ended up cooking.. LOL You can say it was bottomless dumplings too.. We made so many, it was way more than what anyone could eat. The products were top notch so as ugly as our dumplings were made, they all tasted great! The only thing I would have added to this event would be some sides to break up the dumplings...Maybe some bok choy or greens and some fried rice. Otherwise, great experience and restaurant. We will be back for a regular visit but also for their sushi making brunch!

Lovely happy hour time. The food is consistently delicious. The service is excellent. And the view is right on the ave. Dog friendly too. Such a great sushi and ramen place to come to.

Loved it here. We stopped in for the late night happy hour and it was amazing. Great service. Very professional and friendly. The vibe was old time Japanese. Loved the cat dishes and decor. Tried about 6 dishes and will be back for more! The beef was so tender. The noodles needed more flavor. The sushi was amazing. The portions were great!

I can't say enough good things about this place!! The food was amazing! We specifically loved the fried rice & the triple catch sushi roll. Service was AMAZING and the atmosphere was so cute. 10/10 fav place I ate at my whole trip to Delray.

Came here for my birthday with my boyfriend, atmosphere is modern and trendy without feeling too gauche. The service was good and attentive, you get to choose your own chopsticks too! Unfortunately when i went they were all out of my two favorite beers but the food was amazing. The menu is meant for sharing so between me and my boyfriend we ordered the shishito peppers, chirashi don, chubby fight roll, and the branzino! Of course this is more on the pricey side since this is no average sushi place. All the dishes were amazing and beautifully presented and i would go back just to eat the roll again.

I enjoyed Chubby Cat Sushi! The inside of the restaurant is so cute! The food was delicious. Our waitress was so sweet and answered all our questions/provided amazing recommendations. The cat theme of this restaurant was purrrfect! I loved how we could choose our cat chop sticks.

Delray's newest sushi spot, Chubby Cat is located steps away from El Camino and the Ave. The whole "cat" theme is adorable. The food we ordered, which consisted of sushi and uni pasta met our hexpectations. Fresh and flavorful. (I hate whenever sushi leaves a fishy aftertaste in my mouth.)

I didn't take enough pictures, but everything we had was delicious. Service was incredible. They explained everything perfectly and we will definitely be back so she was the most fresh I've had in Del Ray.

We walked in to the place and grabbed a couple spots at their bar. Its a nice unassuming place. There people hustling about including the bartender. But she had 2 drinks over to us pretty quick. I wanted to try something new so I got the Nam Gek Huay. It was a tasty beverage with tea as the mixer. There were cloves of something on the top that were a nice touch. We found ourselves to the back where the small stage was. It was a nice turn out of people. We all got to hear about a dozen songs. Meanwhile we tried the pad Thai. I would say it was above average. It was a good time, and we will be back to try more of the menu.

The ambience, quality of food and service, plus the plating/presentation was top notch. Love the spacious and modern/trendy ambience. There's a wall that separates the left side (restaurant) from the right side (bar/cocktail lounge). There's ample parking in the plaza. The menu is pretty expansive and truly lives up to the "modern" yet authentic take on Thai food. The Crispy Brussels Sprouts was a standout -- perfectly blistered, sweet and savory at the same time with just enough crunch. Super tasty! The Dry Rub Thai Chicken Wings was another highlight. Crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and coated in a seasoning blend that hits you with layers of flavor instead of just heat. I am used to chicken wings that are drizzled with sauce and this dry rub wings was such a nice surprise. This is honestly some of the best wings you'll find in a Thai restaurant. The Grilled Lamb Satay was beautifully plated -- smoky, and marinated just right. Paired with the peanut sauce and the refreshing cucumber-onion relish, it was a solid dish. Would have preferred the meat to be more tender though. The Jumbo Lump Meat Crab Fried Rice was comforting, served with a spicy green chili sauce. I was warned by our server that the green sauce is spicy, so I tempered the heat by adding more fish sauce. Generous chunks of real crab, fragrant rice, and well‑seasoned flavors. Service is efficient (will update this with the name of our server next time) and warm. The chef/owner is So. He is funny, friendly and hospitable and he makes his rounds to visit every table checking how everything is. This restaurant is now in our rotation for top Asian eats in Boca. If you're looking for Thai food with heart, flavor, and attention to detail, this place is a must try!

Until I found 3 Gs gourmet deli. This place is the real deal. My first time here was alone, and I grabbed a sandwich with two meat some cheese, Russian dressing, and coleslaw. And for good measure, I added a Schmear of chopped liver. This turned out to be one of the most outstanding deli sandwiches I have ever eaten. The deli was fresh and delicious and without ordering it lean it was in fact quite lean just the way I liked it. The flavors all complimented each other and nothing was overdone. The sandwich was in a word outstanding served with a sude of the best potato salad, you will ever taste as well as complementary pickles, like the deli of old would do and even some delicious extra bread. I just loved it and I had to bring my wife back for a second visit. This visit was even better than the first. I got an over stuffed two meat sandwich of pastrami and corn beef. It was absolutely wonderful. Same excellent service. There is so much on the menu. I want to try that I will be stopping there pretty much every time I pass by. Finding this wonderful delicatessen atmosphere with superb service and outstanding food is really rare. Highly recommended.

At first sight, its unassuming traditional strip mall storefront belies the fun deli interior. It is a reasonable size, with good attentive staffing and the usual fun deli counter. We started off with the pickled cucumbers, with they offered as a gift for us visiting for the first time. Nice! Unfortunately, our first visit fell far short of expectations. Upon arrival, we informed our server, John, that it was our first time dining at Hawkers. While many reviewers mentioned receiving a complimentary pickled cucumber appetizer, we were not offered one until we asked John about it late into the meal. We were also seated alone in the bar area while the main dining room was active, which immediately created a disconnect from the atmosphere and seemed to contribute to the service challenges that followed. We ordered the Curry Chicken, Chicken Lo Mein, a glass of wine, and water with lemons. The lemons never arrived until we reminded our server. The Curry Chicken was delivered without rice, requiring another reminder before the meal was complete. Shortly afterward, the Chicken Lo Mein arrived, and we requested a fork. Fifteen minutes later, after nearly finishing the Curry Chicken, we finally flagged John down to remind him that the fork had never been delivered. By that point, the Lo Mein had been sitting long enough that it was barely warm, and we seriously considered sending it back. To add to the confusion, another server eventually informed us that he would be taking over our table, though no explanation was provided. As for the food, it was average at best. I've had significantly better Curry Chicken elsewhere, and the Chicken Lo Mein lacked the flavor and quality that would make me want to order it again. While the food was serviceable, it certainly wasn't memorable enough to overcome the service issues. A restaurant's first impression matters, and unfortunately Hawkers missed the mark on both service and execution during our visit. Between the forgotten items, long waits, lack of attentiveness, and uninspiring food, this is not a restaurant we plan to revisit.
