This office is absolutely terrible.From the unprofessional front office girl that doesn't know what she's doing to the fact that you don't even get to see a real dr. Plus the office is filthy. I came here because I was referred by the ER to see a specialist, but my insurance requires me to see a primary doctor first so I went here.. I was only able to see a nurse practitioner who kind of shrugged off my concerns. She didn't even let me speak (she would talk over me and not give me time to respond to what she said.) I got rushed in and out and when I got to the front office I asked if I was going to be referred to an oncologist because the ER doctor told me it was urgent. The front office girl said they were referring me and said it could take weeks! I said it was urgent and if it could be rushed please and she just scribbled down a number to call. We called and it wasn't even a real number. So we called Dr Chu's office and they said they were going to put a rush on it. We called back a few days later and they said it wasn't even in the system yet! I cannot believe how incompetent these people are. So we waited a few more days and called again and they said they can no longer help us because I had decided to switch to another dr because of this terrible experience. So now I have to go through seeing a new primary dr in a month (soonest appointment available) just to get a referral to an oncologist again! I am so frustrated. How can people who are supposed to care for sick people be so cold hearted. I have to wait longer now, after I was told I could possibly have cancer. How can you make someone wait this long not knowing. :( read more

Annual check up 2 weeks ago and blood work the same week. Called office to get a copy of my blood work results and they asked me to come in to review with PA. They schedule for a office visit 2 weeks later to review with PA. I arrive today for blood work results review and they start doing all the routine vital sign reviews and tell me cost of today's office visit. I mention to assistant that I was just there 3 weeks ago and all I need is a copy of my blood work results. She then tells me I will need to pay $25 cancellation fee for canceling appointment. I tell her I did not request the appointment, your office did. Very disappointing that a doctor will not take the time to review his patients blood work results without looking for an opportunity to bill insurance and patent. I am hoping Dr. Le will take notice of this and call me. Please read reviews before making appointment. read more

Dr. Le has been my primary care physician since 2001. He is very proactive on tests and has caught issues early and put me on medication to treat high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and diabetes. My numbers are very good now due to his great care. He has helped me get through pneumonia and a couple of serious infections. I am very happy with the care that he provides. read more

I've been a patient at this practice for over a decade, but have now transferred to another PCP office. In the 10 years I've been a patient here, I saw Dr Chu once maybe twice. But that was okay because the PAs he had on staff were great. However in 2023, the PA Heidi I had been seeing for years left, and the only option now other than waiting weeks or months to see Dr Chu, was a new NP named Tracy. I booked an appointment for a follow up after having my first child. I was struggling with postpartum mental health concerns and had to see my primary to be referred to a specialist. My appointment with Tracy was AWFUL. As I introduced my background and reasons for wanting to be seen, she steamrolled the conversation and diminished the way I felt. She then turned the conversation into suggesting birth control even after I told her I declined birth control at my OB and didn't want to be on it due to problems with it in the past. She continued to steer the conversation about birth control and how much at risk I am for being pregnant again, as if that would be the worst thing in the world as a married woman with a child. She still prescribed it and sent it to the pharmacy even after I told her I didn't want it, and also had me take a pregnancy test. I got a referral to a specialist to further treat my postpartum mental health concerns but the process was sad, discouraging, and off putting. They have no other PAs and NPs on staff now other than her. And the front office staff is extremely rude, specifically Selene. Uses very unprofessional dialogue towards patients. I have also heard from other patients from this practice the same concerns. Overall a very unhelpful place, and would not recommend to anyone. read more

Both myself and my fiance come here for our primary health care physician. The office location is new and pretty nice. Most of the staff is friendly. Usually see the PA, Nicole. She has been helpful with our needs. She takes her time to explain and hear out our concerns. The waiting room is a bit small looking but comfortable. They have a decent sized suite. The only thing I can say I did notice was while in a room during a previous visit, we could hear every word from the b patient in the room next to us. Aside from that they pretty much do their job. The front desk staff looks like they can get very busy, but I think that is pretty common. We will continue to use them as our physician team unless things change for the worst. read more

Possibly the worst office I have ever had to deal with. Wife has fractured ankle, that they are aware of, had to wait while they had lunch. So if lunch is more important than leaving a person in pain, I would think twice before I was to use this facility. The staff here is awful. I informed them that I go to labcorp for labs and they gave me a slip for my blood work there. For the test in the office, they sent to quest. I received a bill from quest and when I called the office they told me they would handle it. A month went by and I received a second notice from quest so I called dr le office to ask what happened. They were rude and told me that it's because I didn't meet deductible and argued that they send all their lab to quest if a patient has ppo. They argued that my insurance company should cover it even if it's out of network when I specifically told them I am covered only at labcorp..DO NOT GO HERE!! read more

I'm updating my review because I can honestly say that it was not me 100 percent. The PA that I saw at this place was Jennifer Shin. I can not begin to explain how much this lady failed me. As you can read from the previous review below, she saw me for less than 15 min and blamed my weight on my pain. It's been months about two months since that day. Since then my insurance sent me to this clinic across the street from the Pomona valley hospital. Please do not be fooled by it being in Pomona. You would think such a fancy place like Chu le would be better. I see Dr. Olivares, words do not express how amazing this doctor is. While Jennifer was sending me to an MRI, epidurals, and telling me to lose weight despite explaining the agonizing pain I had, Dr. olivares sat down with me for over 30 min my first visit and prescribed me Gabapetin, a steroid shot, and a soft muscle relaxer. She told me to give her 3 weeks, she said that if that would not help that we would try something different. Just that alone was worth the change in places. My pain went away in two weeks. I've had this pain since November and finally in the third week of March my pain was completely gone. What chu le and especially Jennifer could not do in months of going back and forth Dr. olivares did in one visit. I'm a month without pain and Dr. Olivares is helping me with my weight loss, I'm 15lbs down.Not only that but everyone that sees you there is a doctor and they don't give you referrals to go anywhere they can do mostly anything right there. I will say that the receptionist and nurses are very friendly at Chu le. From the last time I spoke to them only Jennifer and Chu le were left and all the other PAs left. So you know things are bad there. Last post: Please do yourself a favor and run the other way. I have nothing to say about the main doctor because I've never once seen him. I've been going for two years and it's never been this bad. You have to wait two weeks at the minimum to see your doctor when making an appointment, that's after 20 min on hold. I was told to do a month of PT , X-rays and blood work for my sciatica pain. After $35 dollars a week of PT and $50 if X-rays I finally got an appointment To go over my results and come up with a game plan to help with my continuous pain. After having me pay $35 of co payment to just have this Asian pregnant PA spend NO MORE than 10 min on how there's nothing she can do so she sends me to other "specialists". She continues to put me down my telling me it's my fault because of my weight, that I should consider surgery and she doesn't understand why I denied weight loss surgery. She continues to tell me that she's referring me to someone else and that she thinks it's because of weight. Okay I get it but can it be said in a more humane way? I'm crying and telling you I haven't slept in 3 months, I haven't felt pain relief in forever, I stoped taking pain meds because they aren't help. So let's start a plan! Let's sit there, hear me out, tell me to see a referral, tell me you're going to help anyway that you can. BE A FUCKING doctor! It's not for free, spend more than 10 min looking down on me. It's been 2 years of nothing but referrals and I can tell you none of my health issues have been fixed. Stay far far away, this place is going down. All the PA have left she's the only one left with the doctor and they're closed more hours now. I don't wonder why I just hope they'd stop wasting people's time and money. read more

I really don't understand the negative reviews. I've never been treated wrong here. The girls up front are extremely welcoming. Yes, sometimes it gets busy. But not all visits are predictable. Had a 1st visit today with Jennifer the PA. Who LIKES going to the drs office? Its never something someone looks forward to but she honestly made it such a easy and smooth experience. I went in with a chief complaint about one concern and after addressing this, she carried on and asked mire thorough questions that led to other medical concerns that i had in mind but didn't intend on bringing up. She was extremely helpful and thorough. She explained absolutely everything and spoke to me in a manner that was understandable and easy to follow. She took her time with me and i never felt like she was rushing to see another patient as i have felt with previous drs offices. She made this visit a breeze and I will deff be a patient of this office In addition to my experience with her, the office itself is super clean and modern and staff was pleasant and friendly. I've been seeing Dr. Le for over 10 years, when my other Dr. sold his practice. No one in my family is really happy with this office. Unfortunately, I am a diabetic and have a long history with this office and don't want to have to start allover. I mostly see Jennifer and I'm OK with that. What I don't like is I feel that my medication is hold hostage. My meds are for the rest of my life. If I need new renewals, I have to go see them. I see a diabetic Dr. and a Kidney Dr. all I have to do is call and ask for new prescriptions. My pharmacy called them on Monday to have my test strips renewed and as of today "Thursday" they have heard back from them. You can't go there to address an issue and get a diagnoses without being referred to another Dr. I just broke my foot and went to urgent care, got xray's and treated all in the same day. Have had the worst experience with this office. On going now for 4 months. Initially went in because was having bad headaches. The PA there(don't recall her name) didn't so much as even barely exam me in first appt. She asked me a couple of questions and automatically assumed i was having migraines. Prescribed me pain killers and wrote me off. A week or so after that interaction i was having headaches so bad i was sent to the urgent care. In urgent care the doctor was more concerned with me than the PA from this office ever was. She asked more background questions and even checked my sinuses to find them inflamed which the PA never even looked at. Went back for a second appt. and after i told the PA about the urgent care experience states "oh it's probably a sinus infection, let's get you on antibiotics" and i demanded a referral to a neurologist. 3 weeks later i receive my reference just to try to schedule the appt. to learn the neurologist she referred me to doesn't even have a working phone number or is even in business anymore??? . Now i must wait for ANOTHER referral. Will be leaving this doctor as soon as my referral comes. Very disappointed. read more

My primary doctor recently merged with this practice. Since that has happened I've experienced nothing but problems. My first visit, I arrived 15 minutes early. I wasn't taken back for over 10 minutes after my appointment time. Whatever! But, while waiting for a doctor referral they told me to wait in the front. Ok, well I waited over 30 minutes in that time every single chair was being filled and patients were being ignored by the front desk staff to the point the PA was addressing them and apologizing. After this wait I was told by the office manager that they were still trying to get my referral sorted out and to just go home and they'd call me.... well thanks for wasting my time sitting here! The front desk staff are (for lack of a better word) worthless! They suck at taking messages, DO NOT return phone calls, give false information, Don't acknowledge patients and my personal favorite they will sit on the phone chit chatting in front of you while you are waiting to check in! RUDE Now, onto my BIGGEST complaint! I called this past Friday to schedule an appointment with my Doctor for follow up. Guess what?! "Didn't you get the letter saying that she quit?" Well obviously I didn't sweetie! Not only did I NOT receive any notice that my Doctor has now quit, my Mother & Father (at a different address/city) and Husband didn't receive notice! This is my absolute LAST straw! This shows the pure LACK of professionalism that this Doctor has because he allows his staff to represent him in this manner! Unbelievable! This is not an oversight! OH, and to schedule an appointment to see the actual "DR" I would have to wait over a month (according to the front desk girl)! That is unpractical! Unethical! And Unprofessional! Goodbye Dr. Le! The office is always clean and very nice looking. The assistants who escort you to the back and take your vitals are polite and professional. The doctors; Le, Bajor, Aaron and Nicole are very friendly, thorough and by every indication very good at their job. The problem is you never know who you will see. They will call you the day before to confirm your appointment with Dr. Le, but it's doesn't mean that's who you will see. We needed a test done for what we thought was a potential life threatening issue. It took the office staff over 5 weeks to send it to the insurance company after Dr. Le ordered it. If you have any problems get a hold of Kaitlyn since she will go above and beyond to help. Twice before we quit this office, we have seen irate patients in the waiting room one of them quitting on the spot. Lastly call your insurance company before you go in for an appointment, because the receptionist will charge you regardless of you having already met your deductible. read more

Each time I go in there I am frustrated with the lack of communication and efficiency. First off the lobby floor is filthy. My first impression was sketchy. I was there today and it was as filthy today as it was 8 months ago. I told them about it 8months ago but cleanliness of the lobby is a concern; but more importantly a concern about other areas or the exam rooms. Their billing department has too many errors; which forces me to pay a charge I already paid and have to get it reversed at a later date when I show proof. The Nurse was simply outstanding; however the PA was not up to speed with my situation; although they received the necessary reports before I did. After my blood work came back I was called by the receptionist and she told me I need to see a cardiologist because CRP was high. I said what is CRP? She did not know. The concern is not that the receptionist did not know what CRP was; the concern was the doctor had the receptionist call me to tell me to see a cardiologist. Today, during my appointment I requested to get some answers, the PA went through some topics and was writing notes. She told me to get some over the counter medication and to see the cardiologist. No problem! Once she left and I went to check out they told me the PA recommended I get two procedures; none she mentioned in our meeting. They are weak. read more

You know, when I first came to this office for my first visit, I was hopeful. It was clean, modern and close to home. Well, that was about it for the upside. My first visit with a Dr. Shin. Frankly, not sure if an actual Dr. or a PA or what but anyway, she reviewed blood work and proceeded to treat me like I was a criminal. Nasty, telling me all the things wrong with me and not one encouraging word. The attitude was stunning frankly. Ok. I then had to do 2 more blood works over the course of several months. First time I didn't get any results so I call to be told that because the results were normal, they just mail a letter. I never received any letter but ok. Second time, same thing. Now I am suspicious. Next time I was in the office for a visit, I asked to see these letters only to watch the front desk dance the jig around the subject finally to tell me there were no letters. I actually had the Receptionist read me my results. Wow.... So, I was not feeling well and had an appointment. I went there only to be placed in the "second waiting room" for close to an hour. Now, I totally am sensitive to the Dr. office spiel about how they have to spend as much time as it takes with each patient and we/the patient need to well, be patient until the Dr is able to see you. Ok, to a degree. That can be an overused excuse for poor time management in my opinion and that is my position on this. This is office does one thing fast. Take your money. That is the first thing they do when you walk in and the rest is a crap shoot. You chould get a Dr. who is with a positive bedside manner or you could be well, treated pretty poorly. While it is a hassle to find a Dr, there are plenty in the area and I will not subject myself to an office that well, may not really have MD's seeing you and has no regard for people's schedules and well being. My daughter had signs of strep throat and they were able to get me in on a Friday last minute even though they were booked. It was the first time I met Dr. Le and let me say she was a sweetheart! She had such great bedside manner that you can't find these days in a lot of Docs. It showed that she truly cared and that her job actually met something to her. The other staff were great as well. She helped in finding the specialist we needed and even got us scheduled same day. She helped ease my concerns regarding her health and financial worries as well. I was so impressed by the cleanliness & decor of the lobby however they were packed with people so I panicked a bit.. I had to pick my son up from school but after about 10 minutes I was called in and I got quality time with the Dr. and a referral for a colon cancer screening with a local GI within 30 minutes. The front desk was very helpful and I'm happy I have found my new GP. They will actually get my whole family lol They are going to see my daughter with her international travel shots on Monday. I'm newer to the area and didn't like my previous Doctor, I looked on Yelp to find another family doctor. Didn't love some reviews.. Especially the nasty picture but what Doctor does that to your skin. So gross. Anywho. I've been seen and so has my husband and our only complaint is the wait time. It's California let's be honest, everywhere you go and everything you do it's going to take a little bit longer. I haven't been to a doctors office where you don't wait. After changing my insurance from a PPO to an HMO so o could keep my favorite Dr Bajor, the Dr sold her practice and left. This has left me with Dr Chu Le and his incompetent staff. After being diagnosed with a chronic disease, this office has been less than efficient or helpful. I can't count how many times they promised to submit the paperwork for authorization to see the specialist THEY wanted me to see. When you have to call an office numerous times to remind them to send off paperwork, it makes you realize your health is Not important to this office. I'm still waiting on promised authorizations they say were approved and they would mail. Every week I check the mail, nothing, so I call and get "oh I forgot, I'll send it out today". I'm still waiting!!!! I do not trust this office and am searching for a new Dr. If you have time to waist and don't mind endless excuses, this office is for you. I've been coming here for many years now. I can honestly say I've never second guessed my decision to stay. Ever since day one I've never felt like "just another patient". Al the staff from the front desk all the way to the PA's and Dr. make you feel very comfortable and important. I've recommended several friends and family members here to this office. Joey has always been very helpful in addressing last minute concerns, emergency appointments, and insurance questions. Kaitlyn does a great job at getting you checked in and follow ups. Dr. Le has been my doctor for 17 years. He and his PA Jennifer have gotten me through pneumonia twice, 2 serious infections, and C DIF. There care has always been first rate. Jennifer called me several times while I was struggling with C DIF to check up on me. I have been diagnosed with early stages of diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. They have me on medications for all of those conditions and my numbers are all good due to having my labs done 3 times a year and them monitoring my medications. I have not been seen by Dr.Le but I did see PA, Angostino who was very thorough and sweet. She is no longer there. I now see Dr. Shin. I love her.
