For those people giving Dr. poor reviews because they have to sometimes wait long hours, please note that unpredictable situations arise daily and that will determine how the day unfolds. With that said, if you have an appointment for follow-up blood work and a toddler with a cough and high fever comes in.......it is not rocket science, they will likely take precedence. Maybe some of you have never visited an emergency room. Same concept! I too have experienced waiting hours to be seen with an appointment. Instead of getting worked up about, I understand that this is how it is at times and par for the course. All patients, and there are a lot, will get the same great service I get ....and THAT TAKES TIME. Prior to meeting Dr., in my previous 20 years of seeing other doctors, I have never had a Dr. assess me for more than 3-5 minutes and then send me off; I thought that was the norm. I say all of this because we have a high level of respect and praise for Dr. He has taken such excellent care of my husband and I, as if we were family. He and his staff always go above and beyond/go the extra mile to rule out a certain concern or illness and take whatever extra steps necessary for the issue at hand. I have personally experienced, and have also seen with other patients, where the staff work into their lunch hours to ensure all patients are taken care of. We know we are in great hands with Dr. So much so that when our insurance changed last year and tripled in cost, to continue with the same insurance that Dr. accepts, we discussed our options and finances in great length. We opted that is well worth the extra expense to continue receiving priceless, top-notch care (with no regrets). I hope you read this Dr. Thank you, thank you, thank you for being the one-in-a billion Dr. you are. We are so blessed to have you.

They're all just getting paid for nothing, extremely lazy. Every time I try to call, it is extremely difficult because they never pick up the phone. One time I asked one of the employees why it's so hard to reach them by phone, and she just answered, "We're busy, you're not the only one calling!!!!" But every time I come in person, I almost never hear the phone ringing, and that's because they set the phone to silent!!! I have never seen them being truly busy, except for being on their cell phones. Every time I do blood work, I am supposed to be called within at most 3 days for the results--whether it's fine or if I need to come in to see the doctor if there is something serious. But I almost never get called unless I take the initiative to call and ask for the results. And they can immediately pull up my results and read them to me. When I ask why I was never contacted, they always say, "We just got the results from the lab," and this is just bullshit!!! Even when I come before my appointment time, I still always have to wait at least 1 or 2 hours before being called in. What I can say is that all the employees there are super lazy and useless, they don't care about the patients at all. Dr. Kim is basically okay, nothing special. I actually liked PA Song more, but he no longer works there--I don't know why. And until now they still don't have another PA. I have decided to switch to another doctor because I can't take it anymore.

Good luck with that. Nickel and dimes you for any sort of form...need a dr note for school or work? That'll cost you $10. Need a medical form filled out for the DMV? That'll cost you $15. Seriously do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

I called the office for the results on day 10 and they said they could not give the results, that the hospital needed to give the results. Called the hospital and they said the Dr. office has to request it. I called the office again and told him he was in pain and if the Dr. can get him a room at the hospital. They said they would call me back by 6:30 pm that day after they talked to the Dr. To this day I have not received a call. He had to wait in the ER waiting area in so much pain with all the other people. Anyone who has had pain knows that being around a lot of people and noise is aggravating. Long story short, patient care is terrible, if anything he could of called and told us that the type of cancer he had was aggressive and to get his affairs in order and to call hospice or give him pain killer is the interim. My brother died in excruciating pain in the hospital instead of at home. Terrible patient care and front office girls are horrific!! He doesn't belong to a medical group and now I know why. AVOID THIS DR. AND HIS STAFF FOR YOUR OWN SANITY AND MAYBE LIFE!!
