I Was told the day before we walked in,over the phone, I'd be able to bring my minor daughter in for her piercing on the following day since they had a piercer available all day. Confirmed I didn't need an appointment, and asked which forms of ID I needed. I tried to take my daughter after school on her birthday for a piercing and was rudely met by the receptionist, with a NO. Their piercer wasn't in. No apologizes for any miscommunication or letting us know when we could come back. Even after visibly seeing my upset daughter, the receptionist didn't even move out of her chair. Bummed. UPDATE- Manager called and apologized for the miscommunication. He was able to get my daughter into the studio that same evening for her piercing. The piercer and assistant were nice and talkative, both were very apologetic and took care of us. Thank you Chris for reaching out and setting us up with an appointment..

My friend and I went to True Art Tattoo for a belly button piercing, and from the moment we walked…read morein, the experience was disappointing. The piercer, a white woman with black hair, was unfriendly and came across as snarky and rude from the very beginning. Instead of taking my friend to a private area, she had her lift up her shirt in the lobby. She then had her sit on the couch, looked her up and down, shook her head, and told her she was "too fat" for a belly button piercing and that she didn't have the right anatomy. Whether or not someone is a candidate for a piercing, there is a respectful and professional way to communicate that. The way she spoke to my friend was humiliating and unnecessarily hurtful. My friend already struggles with body image, and hearing those comments from another woman left her feeling embarrassed and ashamed. Watching someone treat another person that way was upsetting. After leaving, we went to another piercing shop, where the piercer evaluated her professionally and completed the piercing without any issues. We were also told that the interaction we experienced at True Art Tattoo was handled in a very unprofessional manner. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend True Art Tattoo. We encountered rudeness, body shaming, and a complete lack of compassion and professionalism. No customer should leave feeling belittled over their body.

Before I even sat down to schedule and talk about what I wanted...I saw a mother and daughter getting same tattoos together. So rest assured this place will do high volume and also a 10 minute wrist tattoo. So to my story. Chuck Uhler is the owner and happened to help me on my tattoo journey. That was 5 tattoos ago. I ran ideals buy Chuck as far as military and what would place and color. For once, instead of someone just taking my money and doing it...he advised against a certain design due to size and color. That being said...I am so incredibly happy with my end result and absolutely recommend this artist shop to angone

"Don't be sad go get a tattoo"…read more This place is absolutely amazing, I stopped in on Wednesday to set up an appointment for Thursday. The front desk staff was so sweet and easily helped me get in on my one off day. I was placed with the super talented Brian Anthony for my tattoo. I went in to get writing on my thighs in Old English font. I showed him my reference photo and within a few minutes he came back with the perfect font, and we were off. He took his time and carefully made sure the writing was even since the writing is split over both of my legs. After a couple of reajuste he sat me down and started. Brian was so nice and he worked super quickly, he made me feel very comfortable and we shared several laughs throughout the process which is always a plus. This was a breakup tattoo for myself and I couldn't be happier with it. I talked with him about my other leg tattoos, because I know I'll be in such good hands and the product will be amazing. If you're thinking of going here please do, every staff member I met with was so sweet and you can tell they all love their jobs. It's such a comfortable place that I easily recommend!

I will definitely continue to go to voodoo monkey as long as Eric works there. If he leaves I will follow him. Also, the place was extremely clean and everything was sterile, brand new ,sealed. This place blew us out of the water with how AMAZING and TALENTED their artists are! My husband and I were kind of all over the board initially but then had settled on an idea and then they sketched up a mock of what we wanted. We were so excited to get these tattoos and it seemed that were just as excited as we were. The day of our tattoos we came in and the work was a took about two hours and it was painless (this was my first tattoo and my husband's second).
