Chronic fries
Shay R.

I grabbed these carne asada fries and they hit the spot! The meat was flavorful and well-seasoned, and the diced onions and tomatoes added a nice freshness. The melted cheese tied everything together perfectly. That said, next time I'm definitely customizing it with some queso, jalapeños, and guac to kick it up a notch--would've added some creamy heat and texture to take it over the top. Solid as-is, but with those extras, it would've been fire.

Tacos Al pastor street style, black beans, Spanish style rice.

I wanted to like this place but I just can't. Their ordering process seems straight forward but it's also got some complicated sub rules. And the place is kind of noisy to the point where conversation was challenging. The final push for me was that their food is so salty I can't barely take it. I got the tacos Al pastor, black beans, and Spanish rice. The Al pastor was dry and they put a bizarre sauce on it. The beans were super salty and mixing in the rice didn't help. I don't think I'll be back. Maybe it's just me. I hate being "The Gripe" but tonight I'm just not feeling the vibe!

In Texas there is a chain of taco places called Torchy's... I truly miss the food from them since we moved here! However we recently tried Chronic tacos and while not a substitute for Torchy's they are a good taco place in their own right. The inside was clean... lots of room and well lit. The people behind the counter are nice and speedy. My family all ordered their version of their tacos... while I had the monster, Surf and Turf Burrito! It is about 5lbs of food and 10lbs of flavor! Man it was loaded with rice beans steak pico shrimp and just plain old goodness! Well worth checking out... it even had a bit of a bite... some heat in the seat... a little fire for hire... It was spicy good! If you have not tried out Chronic I suggest that you do!

I was so excited to try this place after seeing some good photos and videos of their food. I was highly disappointed in the food though. They are WAY overpriced and do not give a lot of food. Plus it's definitely missing flavor! My partner and I agreed, if we want Mexican, we will just go to an actual Mexican restaurant! At least then we can get flavor and a margarita to go with this high prices!

I'm new to GA, so thought I'd try Chronic Tacos out. (It reminds me of Chipotle.). I ordered the asada tacos with a side of chips, queso, and guacamole. The beef did not have flavor, other than grease. The queso and guacamole were very salty, but edible. The queso was the consistency of old Elmer's glue. I enjoyed the beans and rice. I threw everything else away.

Really hard to hear the person taking orders behind the plastic protecting sheet orders because Not only was he having to wear a mask of course, additionally with the music so loud and The high ceilings makes everyone's conversations so loud! Once ordered I asked the cashier to repeat it just to make sure. The person taking the order was nice enough to come to my table afterwards and apologize that it was difficult to hear him. I ordered the mahi-mahi bowl which you got four pieces not sure it was worth what it cost but after reading the reviews I wanted to try it. I'm not sure I would order it again!

I love this place. The quality is much better than a Chipotle or Moe's and the prices are competitive. You also can't beat their Mahi tacos. The fish is so incredibly fresh and both the grilled and battered versions are phenomenal and worth the $2 up charge IMO. I really can't emphasize the freshness enough, it truly stands out. Service is not overtly friendly but it's worth it. Perfect for a quick bite.

I haven't been to dine here in sometime but at one point it was my favorite place to eat lunch at. Today the service was just okay. What I didn't too much care for it the employees scratching his face and slinging his hair back with his hands, not the most pleasant nor sanitary sight to see. The food this evening was not its best.

The food and customer service is amazing. Best tacos in Georgia. Y'all have got to give these folks a try

Shrimp Nachos. Steer Clear. $10.50 plus tax for a small portion with only five small shrimp.
Andre' M.

Man, was that disappointing. I'm guessing I ordered wrong. I got the nachos and paid the $2 extra to eliminate the standard meats to get shrimp. All it got me was five small shrimp and a serving of dried out nachos. I'm guessing the burritos are the way to go but I certainly don't want to risk another poor meal. I'm being generous with two stars.

Quesadilla and chips

Great quesadilla! Large enough for two people. The burrito was wonderful. The rice and beans not pictured were dried out and hard....overcooked. But everything else was good. Good service and tables were clean

Had much higher expectations but meh...it's ok. Chipotle type ordering style. Location is nice but nothing chronic about these tacos. Sorry.

Moctezuma Mexican Grill - Pollo en Mole. Best and most complex mole I have found in the Atlanta area.

My husband and son were thrilled with their food (taco Al carbon and enchilada de espincaca) mine was less thrilling. Nothing wrong with it, just kind of bland. All are probably more authentic than I'm used to. I tasted my son's taco meat and it was amazing! The menu is overwhelmingly large and hard to decide. Our server, Daisy was wonderful and then there was the robot server...she was pretty good also

There it is like every corner has a good place... here in Alpharetta/roswell... it is spotty. This is a hidden spot... hidden in plain view but hidden all the same. I must have been past it a dozen times but had never noticed it. The ambiance was nice but simple. It is not 5 star dining... but it is not run down worry what you're getting either. It is a descent place. The service was good... it wasn't busy here... so I think we got a lot of focus for sure. The menu is extensive. Lots of dishes to choose from. My wife always orders the guac when we go to Mexican. I get the queso... I can't stand guac. I mean just look at it... I swear I have too many kids and changed too many diapers to eat anything that looks like this! Anyway once past the aps we got to our meals and I was pleasantly surprise. My boys liked it, I liked it, and my wife liked it! Eureka... a Mexican place that we all enjoyed and it wasn't out of this world expensive! I recommend stopping in and trying a thing or two.. you'll be glad you did!

To eat, I ordered a shrimp burrito. It was mostly filled with vegetables and a small amount of shrimp. I did enjoy the chips and salsa. With other great restaurants on the area, I cannot see myself returning.

We came back today and I tried a chimichanga supreme. I ordered what was listed as shredded beef, but as you can see, it's more of a ground beef. I don't care at all because it's delicious! It came with rice, but I gave that to my son because I don't eat the rice and he loves it. He ordered the chimichanga de Carnita and said that the meat was pretty dry and bland by itself, so not as happy as he usually is. The salsa was just as good today as it was before and the food comes out quickly. The service is good, but since you don't get a physical menu and have to scan the barcode and scroll through your phone to look at the menu, they keep coming back too quickly to see if you're ready to order without giving you much of a chance to look to see what's available. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated, I personally think the music is a little too loud to hold a conversation because everyone around you is trying to compensate and talk louder.

Fives across the board…read more Casi Cielo is incredible. The space is warm and beautiful without trying too hard, and the crowd was hip and well dressed. Definitely a place to be seen and eat well. There's a parking garage but it was full when we got there, so we did valet, which was surprisingly affordable. Service was wonderful. Our server was attentive, helpful, and super knowledgeable about the menu. As for the food, we got: Aguachile de Pescado, which was insane. Super fresh, bright, citrusy, ceviche-like with perfect texture. I would go back just for that. The Hamachi was clean and bright. That avocado sauce tied everything together and gave it some depth without overpowering the fish. The Pork Belly Tostadas were crispy and rich with that smooth avocado mousse and sweet mango salsa balancing it out perfectly. Finally, the bone marrow with steak... so good. I had seen pictures of it before I came and it did not disappoint. The steak was incredibly tender. They bring blue corn tortillas and suggest making a taco with the marrow, steak, and avocado. It's great that way. But honestly, the marrow and steak stand perfectly on their own. Whole experience was excellent. Easily one of my favorite spots in the city now.

Wanted to love it…read more The vibes are there, the staff is genuinely lovely, and there's real potential here, we just had a bit of an adventure getting through the meal. We had someone in our party with a gluten allergy, and our sweet server was doing his absolute best, bless. We were steered away from the tostadas as a starter due to gluten concerns, so we pivoted to guac...which then arrived with a gluten-free tostada. So the tostadas would have been totally fine! Then a good while after we'd all ordered, she was told her entrée had gluten and needed to be changed. She reordered, and almost immediately, the rest of the table's food came out. So we were left choosing between eating without her or letting everything go cold. And the plantains she'd reordered around, because she'd been told they couldn't be made gluten-free? Turns out they absolutely can be. Just miss after miss there. The spicy margarita was more of a margarita that once passed a jalapeño on the street. I asked for extra jalapeño juice and they were happy to help, but without the seeds and ribs it just couldn't deliver on the heat. I'd skip the margs next visit. This just wasn't quite the relaxed easy dinner we'd hoped for, and the price point feels like it's a step ahead of where the experience currently lands. But I'm rooting for them to get there!
